It seems that the weekend is the weak spot here for the burgers. Every time we go on Monday or Tuesday, the burgers are delicious, the rest of the week they're like shoe leather. The service is always pretty good, waitress wise, but no waitress early in the week, so you have to order at the bar. It's not top notch fancy ingredients, but it's a good bar burger. read more

My co-workers and myself ordered from puffs pub today (to go), and what we got was very disappointing! When we called back to orignally to find out why our total was so much more then what there menu online showed, Jackie the bartender was the rudest person we've had to deal with and was not very customer service friendly. We sent a person to go pick up our order, Jackie didnt offer our change instead she kept it, nor did we get our receipt. Will not ever spend another $1. in this place again, or refer anyone else to go there! Never had any problems in the evenings, only during the day Jackie is bad for business!!! Poor Puff's, this is a tried place. Went in the day after the Super Bowl and it looks like it had been ridden hard and put away wet. Even so, this place has seen better days. If you want to hang and play pool or video poker, it a good spot. Eating is another thing. The booth are trashed, the tables are mostly bar style. The food is slightly better then average, but there are places close by that do that just a well, if not better. Puffs is more a drinking spot where you have a bunch of friends to hook up with and are looking for something roomy and old school, there is nothing trendy about this place. Ghetto, scary, and dirty won't even go there at night in the day time I used to like to go get there cheap yummy 3 dollar breakfast until I saw them on dirty dining. They have cut me and my husband off after one drink and then turned around and served and old man who could barely stand up. Also a little gal bartender with black hair tried to steal from me once give me back improper change everyone makes mistakes but the way she acted when I called her out made me suspicious. She got in my face about it and was very rude about her mistake but another patron unrelated to me had witness me hand her the amount of my I claimed so she begrudgingly gave me back my proper amount. I get food togo from here occasionally since I work right down the street. The food is good but not great, I love the Cobb salad but the lettuce is either really good or it's bad! I would eat here more often it the food was more consistent! read more

The place looked meh upon pulling into the parking lot. But once inside you can tell the owner and staff take pride in this establishment. It is clean, very well kept and the staff is spot on. The bartender Ricardo was attentive and made sure his guests were entertained and well taken care of. Super cold beer and not afraid to pour an above honest drink. Didn't have time to eat, but the food looked amazing and from the locals I chatted with, the grinds are as good or better than the vibe. Will be back and recommend. Service has gone to hell over the last 6 months. The last two times we have stopped over the last few months, we left because no one came to wait on us and it must have been 80+ degrees inside tonight. Food is almost always good, service pretty good - we come here every Friday night for dinner and happy hour. I must say though that for the past two visits the toilet in the ladies room has been running without stop... Hope they're not passing their water bill on to us consumers! LOL read more

Puff's is a dump. The bathroom is disgusting! Update/remodel badly needed. Last time we went it was for breakfast. The server was good, friendly and courteous. The food was godawful! I had fried eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and English muffin, pretty basic. Not one thing was cooked correctly, not one! Bacon, eggs and browns all overcooked, muffin barely toasted and all cold. I doubt we will ever return. read more

iam glad its open but ,, my friend and i showed up there to get hamburgers to go,, there was a lady there that was a very rude ,, we were both standing up by the bar waiting for our burgers ,,we did not know where to wait for the burgers ,, she rudly pointed told go over there ,, how did we know that ,, with out customers there would be no puffs pub,, i know theres a pandemic but thats no excuse,, i have been eating there over 20 years even a couple i know used to eat they once a week quit going there,, and then after 20 minutes my friend asked if the burgers were done yet ,, the waitress was at the bar and said very rudly said how do i know iam not in the kitchen,, finally she brings out the burgers togo ,, i get home the burgers were good , but wow the frys were so soggy and greesy, in the past they were not greesy, and one more thing if you want any food togo from puffs pub you should call on the phone a head of time other wise you will be there for a while,, and another thing they had outdoor dinning peaple were smoking cigs , i went out there it was smoky ,, i thought gov brown put a restricsion on how many customers were allowed to have in outdoor dinning,, there were a very lot of peaple coming in and the parking lot was full of cars, just like when they were dining inside,, i think do to the pandemic i will start looking for another place to eat because too many peaple there and i dont want more soggy french frys read more

I'm a fan of this place. Good, friendly bar tending staff, TouchTunes machine (yessss!), decent pub food, and they do free poker on Wednesday nights. I've only been here a few times so I can't attest to the other events they put on but I have heard good things. I am from out of state and was in town over the weekend due to a death of a very good friend. Being that it was the 4th of July and not much being open, Puff's was recommended by a friend. As soon as we walked inside and then out to the patio we were greeted with a very warm welcome. We were asked right away if he could let the waitress know our drink order and if we needed menus. Within a couple minutes the server showed up with both. Appetizer and entrees were both excellent, orders were large and very reasonably priced. The same gentleman came back by and checked on us again during meal. When I asked the server she told me he was the owner Brad. There is nothing more I love than seeing a owner being present, helping out and engaging!!! Between him and our server's customer service I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and I would definitely return when back in town again. During the hour of dinning in it helped take my mind off of things for the time being. read more

Fraudulant charges on my credit card twice! And the owner Rob was the bartender. I bet he does it all the time, if my wife hadn't looked over our bank statement I wouldn't have noticed, the first time there was an extra charge of $ 15.50, the second time an extra charge of $7.75, we attempted to get our money back but the thief owner wasn't there every time we stopped by, very aggravating, even before my wife discovered the charges we decided the service there is really bad, if you go in there and the big huge fat bartender named Big Worm good luck getting served or even a decent drink. Go here often for the cheap beer and good fun. It's a hole in the wall, a dive bar, but the staff are great, very friendly, they have pool tables, a little dance floor and decent music, karaoke (one or two nights a week I think?), tv's and slots. read more

Their Happy Hour IPA prices are wonderful! We love going there on a Friday night for Happy Hour... we can have 5 great IPAs and two meals for under $25. Great burgers. I order the veggie bean burger with mushrooms every time. If you arrive after 6:30 PM, you will receive fabulous service from NICK. He really rocks the place with his wonderful service and fabulous personality!! He is always ready to provide awesome service. We are always hoping we'll be in when he is because he can do it all: clear tables, take orders, mix drinks, and help all of his customers to leave with a big smile!! read more

I went there sunday april 7th for a mushroom swiss burger got it to go ,, I payed 8.50 for the lously burger with frys ,,,god I could have bought a pack of burgers for 10 dollars and fryed them on my grill.....,when I got home and saw the burger it was the size of there happy hour 5.25 burger and the bottom half of the bun was a hard as a rock like someone stuck it in a microwave ,, or did something to it end throwing out the bun ,, I live too far ,, I drove up there,,and I also went there went there for breakfast one time even there French toast breakfast has shrunk in size ,, iam done with puffs pub ,, they have gone down hill ,, used to have great food there,, theres way too much comption in Gresham for food places ,, a lot of choices ,, eat some place else read more
