Patients who come with urgent needs are told " we will make you a appointment tomorrow" your insurance won't pay for a urgent care visit you need to book a regular appointment. patently untrue. Medicare pays the same for urgent care appointment as they do a regular appointment so This is about profits not care. When I did see a PA for the wound that should have been dressed by a urgent care they called the fire department and a ambulance! What a waste of county resources! I was transferred to a local er that was on lock down. I sat in that hospital ER for 16 hours overnight! When The ER physician was finally free to help me hours later, he said I do not understand why your doctors urgent care could not address this simple injury. They should have dressed it with a topical antibiotic cream. I wholeheartedly agree. When I tried to talk to the to the office manager the next day, I was unheard and treated disrespectfully. Then she sent a certified letter to me a few weeks later terminating the Dr patient relationship with a CC to their attorney! Can we say passive - agressive implied threat? How completley silly and a unprofessional Hippa violation! One more sketchy note: they sell in office Iv treatments that are bagged like a convenience store sale item. While some of them may help for jet lag , flu and hangovers I take exception to the one called the "Myers cocktail" They imply in their literature and web site that it can help a wide list of diseases including dementia , Alzheimer's,... need I say more? Ok... my mother is dying right now from this horrible disease I know ALOT about it. I did mention to the office manager that It felt a bit scammy and wrong to imply that a vitamin Iv would help Alzheimer's. 99% of neurologists will tell you that a cocktail iv might offer a small vitamin boost. It will not help or slow down the diseases listed in the advertising for this Myers Cocktail. The two offices in this practice are not wheelchair accessible, based on my experience I feel the staff lacks ada, cultural and mental health competence.

The therapist will let you know what instructions to follow for the treatment and recovery also giving exercises to do at home. Then of course checking with your Physician or Doctor to find out if more treatment and recovery is still needed and the therapist will let you know if the expectations are low or high. The place has a lobby area to sit meanwhile you wait for your child or family member. Check in windows to let know the office that you are here or asking questions regarding how many visits are left and when or what time is therapy. Restrooms available around the building by asking the check in office for a key. Camera at the lobby to record everything. Lots of free parking. Nearby the 10 Freeway exit on Monte Vista.

My child was referred to OT by her pediatrician as we have a multitude of issues we are looking to address. I received my referral and called Milestones to make an appointment. I was immediately met with a rude attitude from the person who answered the phone. I said my daughter had a referral and I needed to make an appointment. She asked for what. I said an OT evaluation, she said yes, for what? I gave a brief explanation of my child's issues and was immediately told my child could not be seen at Milestones, they did not need OT, they needed ABA instead. I'm sorry, but since when is a front office worker qualified enough to diagnose my child over the phone after an extremely brief explanation of her issues? Maybe the person on the phone was an OT, but this was not communicated nor was their response kind. I was dumbfounded. Having a child who is experiencing issues and needs specialized care is overwhelming in itself. I hung up and cried. I then called my pediatrician's office to relay this conversation and they were appalled. They told me to call the Chino location instead, but I was so taken a back by my start with Milestones that I asked for a referral to a different clinic all together. It seems from reviews that front office staff being rude isn't uncommon. I'm glad we took my daughter elsewhere.

I had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Khawam. I have been dealing with severe back pain for…read morealmost a year, and the pain has significantly affected my sleep, daily activities, and ability to work. I attempted to have an MRI done three separate times, but because of my severe claustrophobia, I was unable to complete it. I came to see the doctor because I wanted to know if there were other options, such as sedation, that could allow me to get the MRI or if there were other tests that could help determine what was causing my pain. Instead of listening to my concerns, I felt that I was being dismissed. He questioned why I needed the MRI and what I thought it was going to show. He told me that my options were physical therapy and losing weight and suggested that my weight was likely the reason for my back pain. I understand that my weight is something I need to address, but I know my body, and I know that the severe pain I have been experiencing is not something I should simply be told to live with because of my weight. I was looking for a doctor to listen to me and help determine why I have been in so much pain. When I became upset, he told me to give him a moment while he spoke with a colleague. When he returned, I felt that his attitude toward me was even worse. He asked me what I thought was wrong with me. At that point, I became overwhelmed and walked out because I no longer felt comfortable continuing the conversation. I want to give a special thank-you to the front desk staff. They listened to me when I came out of the room upset, allowed me to explain what had happened, and helped me get connected with Corrina, the nurse. I truly appreciate them taking my concerns seriously instead of ignoring what had happened. I am also very grateful to Corrina, who called me, listened to me, apologized for my experience, and told me she would speak with the doctor and his supervisor. Most importantly, she actually helped me move forward. She was able to get a CT scan ordered as an alternative since I could not complete the MRI, as well as referrals to neurology and neurosurgery to explore other options, including ways I may eventually be able to complete an MRI. My CT results showed that there are issues with my spine that require further evaluation, which was extremely upsetting to me because I felt that I had initially been ready to be dismissed as simply being overweight. I am sharing this review because patients deserve to be listened to, treated with compassion, and taken seriously, especially when they are experiencing severe pain. I am thankful that I spoke up for myself and that the front desk staff and Corrina took the time to listen and advocate for me. Without their help, I don't know if I would have gotten the additional testing and referrals I needed. Thank you to the front desk staff and especially Corrina for treating me with kindness and helping me when I felt like I wasn't being heard.

I continued my pregnancy and did the follow up tests to confirm my son was in fact perfectly healthy. Today he is a strong healthy 10 year old. So, I was already extremely apprehensive when I was told that this was the only location that could do the scan for my third pregnancy. NT scans should be done between 11-14 weeks and even though my referral was processed at 8 weeks, they scheduled me for when I will be 15 weeks. I let them schedule thinking I would see how I feel when the time came and if I trust them or felt the need to do the test, then I would keep the appointment. Today I get three voicemails from 909-865-9705 reminding me of my appointment next week and asking me to confirm/cancel. I call 909-865-9705 back on my lunch break and the rude person on the phone let me know there apparently is no appointment scheduled and no record of me since 2015. Yet I have three voicemails telling me the date and time that was given when I spoke to someone from the office a month ago to schedule. And I have a letter I received in the mail that my referral was approved yet that isn't in their system either. Luckily, I didn't have my heart set on doing the scan anyways because of my previous experience, but they once again managed to prove how incompetent and rude they are.
