I would have attached a picture but we ate the food so fast that there was nothing left by the time I thought about it. We ordered the "everything" platter that included ribs, sausage, brisket and pulled pork. Everything was incredible. I'm not a sausage person, but these were excellent! Out of the 6 sauces to choose from, we preferred the Sweet & Bold sauce. The coleslaw and baked beans were the best we've had as a side with all the meats. The BBQ was delicious; my wife and I stopped by on our way back to Texas. We tried all of the meats except pork. The ribs were amazing - very good with a complex flavor. They have 6 different sauces; I liked 1, 2, and 5 the most. The sides are okay, the green beans are kind of on the raw side though - I'd get the potato salad, even if you don't really like it usually - probably the best side. It is very good pricing for the amount of food and the quality of food that you get! Sissy served us and is a very sweet and generous lady! This is a great place to eat BBQ. They do not skimp on portions and their variety in sauces makes the same meal taste with several flavors.

The brisket here is on point. When it comes to BBQ for me, 2 things are key. Having a really good brisket and a superb sausage. Unfortunately, on the sausage, it was not up to my likings. It like a sausage casing that 'snaps' and has a solid consistency. The sausage here was rubbery and mushy on the inside. When I asked the guy at the counter about it, he claimed that this is the way people like it. If that is the case, I'm sure it is on point for them, but definitely not me. I really enjoyed the different BBQ sauces that were offered. I can certainly understand why they have won so many awards for their BBQ based on the brisket and sauces. I will definitely be a repeat customer but will have to another option to replace the sausage. I was really excited to try this place on our way through Tennessee. I saw the great Yelp reviews, saw online that they win awards all the time, etc. The restaurant was less than half full when we got there around 1PM on a Saturday. Very clean, with pictures of all of their barbecue championships on the walls. The people at the counter were very friendly and suggested the Whole Hog Platter since it was our first time. So for around $20 we both ate our fill - not a bad deal! The Whole Hog Platter included pulled pork, sliced brisket, and about 4 ribs with three sides of our choice -- cole slaw, potato salad, and cheesy corn. The sides were decent, potato salad tastes like a loaded baked potato but with a bit too much sour cream. The cole slaw was good but unremarkable as was the corn. But what we were most excited to try was the meat! Unfortunately all three were quite dry. The ribs and the brisket had a nice smoky flavor but the ribs were tough and the brisket overly salty. The pulled pork was both dry and lacking in flavor. They had a variety of barbecue sauces at the table which provided some much needed moisture but didn't add a ton of flavor. So overall surprisingly mediocre barbecue but from an obviously well run and respected local business. read more

My wife and I had enjoyed many visits to Whole Hog in the past, but our visit on 06/27/2021 to the location in Bryant was HORRIBLE. The meat was half fat and it was not chopped up at all. Just big chunks of fat. We couldn't eat half of our meal because there was so much fat. NASTY! AVOID WHOLE HOG BARBECUE. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. read more

Good food everytime I go but the staff always has a horrible attitude especially considering the amount of money I spend when I do enter the establishment. Like today. I had my children with me and they're a little irritable so as I was ordering my 2 pulled pork plates I forgot to make both plates a sandwich. And when I received my food I noticed I made the mistake. I politely asked for 2 buns and what I received was an attitude from the kitchen over 2 buns as if they had made a mistake. The host made it clear as if it was a point that it wasn't their fault and then proceeded to say with an attitude, "I'm gonna start asking them if that's what they want because too often these customers do this".
