Our server, Shannon D, was absolutely amazing. She was exceptionally friendly and attentive and made the whole experience even better. We started with the fried mushrooms, then ordered a large hand tossed cheese pizza for $15.99 and a cookie sweetza for dessert at $8.99. Everything was delicious and came out fresh and hot. One of the best parts about Hideaway Pizza is their thoughtful touch for families. If you have a little one, they will bring out a tray of pizza dough for your kids to play with while you wait. DoorDash driver dashed away before we could catch her. Called the store, but ended up on hold with a call center who directed my wife's call to the store. All seemed inconvenient, but to be expected up to this point. Then the lady whose name I didn't catch picked up the phone. Hands down, the rudest employee I've ever heard from a restaurant. Talked to my wife like it was our fault that they forgot the cheese sticks. Then explained that she was the only employee working in the store, and had no drivers to send, and we'd have to come pick up the cheese sticks we ordered for delivery which negates the whole point of ordering delivery, as well as the delivery fee. We finally agreed to come pick up the cheese sticks in return for a refund on the cheese sticks. She ended the call with "fine come get your "CHEESE STICKS!!" ". On the upside of being spoken to like trash from an obviously overworked employee whose actions were most likely the result of poor management, and inadequate concern for properly staffing a restaurant, she actually ended up refunding our entire order instead of just the cheese sticks which was all we expected. I don't know who runs this Pizza Hut, but they need a lesson in how to adequately staff an establishment. One employee in the entire store, no matter how small is unacceptable!
