I really like Larry's. However, I have noticed that it's good on certain nights. I also have noticed that the staff seems to have an attitude on those same nights. I don't get it. The staff walks around mean mugging like they hate their job. Go work somewhere that you are not in customer's face if you can't smile. I think it's interesting that the food is not as good on the nights the staff is in a bad mood. How does that even happen? I love this Pizza! They are best pizza! Building is a "hole in the wall" but don't let fool you! I think I have eaten every item on the menu. They have wonderful salads! Small and large. If you are a small to medium eatter then order the small9 chef salad. I usually dump it out onto the plate that comes with the salad. read more

Larry's on Bowman The pizza was good. I like a buffet so I can try other types of pizza. I like that they bring hot pizzas around before putting them on the buffet. The ones on the buffet were cold. My favorite today was the hot baked potato pizza. The price has gone way up since I was here last. I do not eat enough to justify me paying so much. I went on two separate occasions with completely different staff. The first time I went they were pleasant and attentive. Last night I went back and my goodness, I can't recall the last time I had a multitude of staff that cared this much about their jobs and making sure we were taken care of. They were extremely polite, personable and the food was excellent. The wings are outstanding and the cheese bread with meat in them was also very good (called Meaty's). Wow didn't expect this coming.... My friends came here to order pizza, little did I know the content that would be inside the 3 pies. Before I get into the reviews of each pizza, I would like to note that they came with no crust! THANK YOU! I am not one to eat the crust so I was quite happy when there was none. However, it did make it slightly more difficult to eat, but nothing like rolling it up, folding it in half, or being classy and using a fork and knife. Pizza #1: traditional pepperoni - let me first say, holy moley! I have never gotten a pizza that had so much pepperoni on it. It practically covered the whole pizza! #2: Half baked potato, half chicken parmesan - the potato was pretty good, tasteful with a light crust on the top layer. The chicken was my least favorite of all of the flavors. It was a little on the dry side in terms of the chicken, but I am not a big fan of chicken to begin with, so to others it may be just fine. #3: Half Chocolate with chocolate chips and Half peanut butter with chocolate chips - This pizza was a surprise in a box. I never would have thought pizza + chocolate = HAPPY heart attack. I didn't know what to think of this when I heard about it, but once I took a bite, definitely hit the spot. Crazy to think this combo would have worked, but it did and I am glad to have tried it. Overall: try the unexpected, even if it doesn't seen like it would go well. read more

They don't every have the buffet full of pizza. There is always things that mostly only adults would eat even though it is supposed to be a place you can bring kids. Not only that but lots of the workers seemed like they didn't want to be there. read more

Great place to eat when you are in a rush at lunch. The buffet is an excellent value and has plenty to choose from. My favorite is the pepperoni alfredo or the baked potato. The staff is super friendly and the manager Tony will always make sure you have the pizza you are looking for. read more

Larry's is a decent pizza buffet and offers several interesting variations in terms of toppings such as Taco Supreme, Honey Mustard Chicken, Chipotle Chicken and Baked Potato. They also serve traditional hoagies other than the usual suspect varieties of pizza. I love their chocolate peanut butter pizza for dessert. A worth mentioning point that is different from other pizza joints is that waiters or waitresses bring the pizza, hot from the oven, to your table instead of setting it out on the bar. Once they have been to every seated table and announced the pizza that they are carrying while delivering the slices they will place whatever is leftover at the pizza/salad/dessert bar. I like the cheese and pizza sauce that they use, specially the sauce because it is not sugary in flavor like Papa Johns. Service can sometimes be slow and if you are a vegetarian the choices are limited. Once I went with my office colleagues and the group comprised of some vegetarians who were turned off when the waitress kept on bringing and offering 'vegetarian with chicken' pizza to their table even when she was told twice that they strictly avoid meet. I would however overlook this issue as a lot of young and new staff at restaurants are really not aware of the dietary requirements of different kinds of vegetarians. Overall this is a good place to go with family or friends and enjoy freshly baked pizza that is better in quality than the usual national chains. read more

Stopped in for lunch today after searching Larry's Pizza online. First surprise this location does not honor the online Larry's Pizza posted menu prices. Prices at this location are approx +10% more than Larry's Pizza menu prices posted online. Pizza on the island was extremely limited and everything I tried was at best luke warm to not warm/hot at all. I would say this is the worst experience dining for pizza I have ever had. Pizza crust was paper thin w no real taste, assortment of pizza on the island was very limited and toppings left a lot to be desired. I tried 5 -6 different types of pizza from the island and waiter delivered and none of them looked appealing or tasted any better. After paying more than the price that was posted online, experiencing tasteless pizza w paper thin curst and a highly limited selection I will definitely not be going back. I did have one of the desert pizza's and I have to say this was the best on the island compared to everything else. I did not have the salad bar. read more

This is a different spin on pizza kind of place. It's buffet they have your traditional pizzas but a lot of Wierd ones as well. Like loaded bake potato pizza stuff of that nature. Also a salad bar is included. If you get a coke it is in a huge cup. For buffet it's pretty good pizza but not my personal favorite read more

I LOVE larrys pizza. However, this location is unlike the other ones imo. I will drive to Bryant and eat at the one that LARRY is at. He always remembers me, even if it has been too long. And he'll have my favorite out before I even ask. But this location doesn't even do the same pizzas. Especially the Bavarian, I have to walk them through that one every time.
