The pizza was a 4, but horrible service. No one welcomed or said anything as we left. No one smiled. No one came to check on us or make sure anything was good. We ordered a pizza with pepperoni and they brought us pineapple. We ordered garlic ranch and when they didn't bring it up, I went to ask for it. The waitress took the time to look up our order and she said it didn't ring up, admitting her mistake. She said, "it'll be 55 cents." We will not be back. Horrible customer service. read more

Even on a busy Sunday, we were able to place an order pretty easily and find seating. Love that they offer local beers! There's a nice variety of pizza choices, too. The one I chose was a bbq situation while my kids got plain cheese. I love a thin crust pizza but my partner doesn't. Luckily their thin isn't a crispy-cracker thin so we both enjoyed it! read more

Horrible experience. First of all you have to stand there to read the menu. Might as well have to a fast food restaurant. Could find a pizza I wanted, so was trying to build a pizza. Several more customers came in and were getting impatient because we were holding up the line. Funnily I got disgusted and ordered the BBQ nachos, wife ordered a salad. So you pay when you order, and at that point they are expecting a tip. How in the hell am I supposed to know how the food a service are? So then it's self serve drinks. Got drinks and sat down and they immediately brought out wife's salad. My nachos didn't show up for another 10 minutes. Who in the hell a 2 top separate? That's dumb. My food shows up. Looked rather disgusting and didn't taste much better. Every chip except two were soggy. Someone had poured some liquid cheese on them, the only flavor the meat had was the bbq sauce which was way too sweet. Apparently they have no waitstaff, just food runners. No one ever came back to the table to check on us. So now I'm sitting here the next reflecting on the experience and wondering what exactly did I tip for. Certainly wasn't the service or the meal. Oh and let's not forget about the ceiling literally has cob webs all over it. Clean the damn place up. read more

Searched Yelp for a place to stop for lunch on the way home from a trip. Lots of different places came up but decided to give this one a try...so glad we did! Clearly a local favorite as there were alot of big groups and lots of cars in parking lot. We expected a long wait but were met with plenty of seating and very friendly staff despite all the people! Not expecting a lot because until then, everyone here told us Hideaway Pizza was the best and we just were enthused. This pizza joint has been around for a few years now and I am surprised this is the first review. The pizza is really good and they have plenty of other options for the kids not interested in pizza. Mine love their ravioli. They also have the best ice! Seating can be a bit challenging If you have a large group but parties of 6-8 should not be an issue. Easy access off of highway 5. I first tried this pizza place in Mobile, AL. Much to my surprise, it was a chain and we had one in my neighboring town!! Their salads are huge and tasty, seems like almost full head of lettuce. Pizza was good as well! The atmosphere is open and they have a little arcade for the kids while you wait for pizza to cook. Definitely recommend! read more

This is my second review for Lost Pizza as my first review a few years ago was not too encouraging. I had just ordered the wrong thing! Lost Pizza redeemed itself as we now order from there regularly! Our favorite is the El Diablo which is so scrum! The barbecue swirl on top adds just enough of a different flavor to the whole get-up. And it's wonderful dipped in their homemade ranch. I also love their Greek salad as it has so many different vegetables and flavors! Pairs perfectly with their Greek dressing. Awesome place! Hands down, a must visit, again and again. The pizza's great and the Italian dishes compare to any reputable Italian restaurant in a 20-mile radius. Yes, as good as Luigi's! The atmosphere is relaxing and fun for all ages. The service is extremely accommodating. I have three little girls and they loved the food and the staff treated them great! The manager, possibly owner, greeted my family upon walking in and visited our table, thanked us for our business and ensured we were enjoying ourselves and food. First and last time ordering a chicken Alfredo from this place. After picking up my order & opening them at home, I could not be more disappointed. The spaghettis were very thin and so clumped up together. There was sauce on one side of the pasta and not the other as if it wasn't mixed. This restaurant has been so many different things. Glad to see that it's (hopefully) settled as this local pizza joint. It's been voted "Best Pizza in Saline County," so I had to check it out. * The interior is a funky retro-style place. It has lots of colorful lights and is well-lit. The only issue with the many lights is that their menu (which is mounted on the wall) gets a little bit of a glare and thus makes it a little hard to read. The prices are a little high for pizza in my opinion. There's a game area in the back of the restaurant, which closely reminds me of Larry's Pizza but on a much smaller scale. * The wait time was quick, probably about 10-15 minutes. I ordered the massive custom pizza (definitely not eating it by myself, haha), with cheese, sauce, and meatballs (specialty topping, $3.00) on thin crust. When the pizza arrived, however, it turns out my thin crust became thick crust. Not a terrible thing, but was hoping to save a few carbs with the thin crust. The waitress offered to fix it but it wasn't a big deal so I kept it. * The pizza itself was cut very quickly and not throughly so I had to use the fork to cut the slices off of each other. The pizza itself is decent and I can definitely tell it was handmade. The dough is light and cooked good with a little crunch and a little crisp. The meatball had a good subtle flavor. Overall, a good pizza but I'm missing where the "Best in Saline County" is. * Last note, the staff are very friendly aside from the man I presumed to be the owner -- I asked for marinara sauce and he never said a word to me. Note a big deal except I assumed he was the owner and expected a better impression. * I recommend this place -- great for groups and kid-friendly. read more
