I am tired of your every day products in the stores, packed with ingredients I can't pronounce and my body can't digest properly. So I decided to come to this establishment, I'm over the hill satisfied with what sell. Truly wholesome bakery goods. I could read the ingredients, just amazing. Thank you! read more

If you're going to have children running the place then at least properly train them. I paid $10 for a sandwich a girl took my order and I filled out a slip. 10 minutes go by and it doesn't look like anyone is making my food so I ask the boy how much time was remaining because I needed to leave. Both employees panicked a little and the boy asks what kind of sandwich and proceeds to make it quickly. But the girl took my order and then promptly forgot and both of them allowed me to wait in the lobby for at least 10-15 minutes for a $10 sandwich. not great read more

Our local bakery. Great quality, great prices! The current construction on Val Vista does make the parking lot only accessible when traveling southbound. But that's temporary. Worth the effort. read more

I stopped by for a quick bite to eat since I didn't have time to make dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how many different baked goods they had to offer! There were so many pies, cookies and breads, including some unique and out of season things like cinnamon crispies and walnut pumpkin bread. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. You can choose from many of their different breads, add lots of different toppings and get a cookie and a pickle spear for free. They also have chips and side salads. The sandwich came out very quickly and tasted delicious! I love the idea of buying bread fresh from a local bakery and might just have to start getting my bread here! A lot of local bakeries sell fancy loaves but I like that this place has regular bread you would get at the store to make sandwiches. And if you're like me and buy Killer Dave's whole grain bread, the bread here is about the same price or even less, depending on where you grocery shop! read more

The best white bread ever. Their country white loaf has been a favorite of mine since childhood. Other favorites include honey wheat and cinnamon swirl. Their brownies are delightful as are sandwiches (although on the pricey side). Sign up to be a part of their rewards and you guys awesome deals for cheaper bread and sweets!! read more

This place is awesome! Found it on a whim one day while I was next door at the gas station. I'm so happy I stopped in! The baked goods are delicious! I love getting a stack of cookies and bringing it home to my husband. Snickerdoodle is the best one, and don't let anyone tell you differently. Customer service isn't too bad! They're very busy making baked goodness, so you may have to wait a minute to get helped. Understandable! The shop itself is so cute. It's very minimal, but they spruced it up with signage. Everything is broken down by category! If you're looking for a bakery with minimally processed baked goods, try this place out! read more

Omg, I went to buy bread and maybe a croissant. I saw the pie cooler and just had to buy a coconut cream pie, my favorite. Let me tell you the coconut cream pie is AMAZING! It's BETTER THAN ROCK SPRINGS coconut cream pie and better priced. I will no longer drive be buying pies elsewhere. I'll have to try more. I dis buy some ancient grain spelt bread too. read more

Bread shelf was fairly empty ay 9am, but they had some samples and enough breakfast food to make you happy. Unfortunately, the Blueberry scone looked great, but somehow despite a huge presence of blueberries, it did not taste fruity at all. It tasted like a plain, dense flavorless cake. Also bought some bread bowls, but how good can those really be? read more

Found this spot driving by. When you come in smells delicious. We browsed around and bought a few items. I had to eat the pumpkin cake right away and it was delicious. We took home some granola and jalapeño cheese bread. It was such a hit at home that it didn't last long. You can place an order for pickup or have it delivered. They have a variety of breads, cookies, cakes and sandwiches. So if you're in the area swing by. read more

All the stuff we got was so FRESH!! And amazing we loved the Chocolate Pumpkin Bread so much!! Would definitely recommend and go back to!

Amazing place to by baked treats and sourdough bread. Love this place. Cookies are extra special.

Extremely misleading. "Chemical-free" is a HUGE advertisement paste it on to their entire front window.... And yet the flower that they use is enriched. They need to start buying the organic non-GMO non-enriched flower from Costco, rather than buying it local from someone who does something crappy like enriching their local flour. Not only do their bagged items not have that ingredient list on them (illegally by the way) But when I told the lady who checked on the flour that they use that folic acid is a chemical she rudely and dismissively said "okay." When I stood there and waited for her to continue she finally said, "I will let him [the owner I guess] know". Please let me know when you resource your flour and when your goods are actually chemical-free instead of false advertising, because I would love to change this review and have a healthy option for our family. And I would ABSOLUTELY love to support a business that is taking the poison out of our flour and food. read more

It's a carb lover's dream here. Bread, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls.... and a lot of this stuff is healthy too! I came here on a carbtastic mission to get a loaf of bread. I liked the variety available, ranging from your standard country white to more exotic sounding bread such as archaic grains (Tbd where you can find antebellum or antediluvian grains though :p). After browsing I got an archaic grains bread, pumpkin chocolate chip bread, and blueberry scone. The archaic grains bread has a whole grain wheat base with spelt, pumpkin seed, teff, quinoa, black sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and uses honey as the sweetener. I appreciated that they list what origin the grains and nuts are from, and I dig any place that uses teff in their product. It's such an underutilized grain! The bread was pre-sliced, with a dense crumb and soft texture. It would be a good bread to use for sandwiches. Quite honestly I thought the scones were cookies because they were so flat. I don't think there was a label on the shelf they were on so the only way I found out they were actually scones was when I looked at my receipt. I enjoyed the blueberry flavor of the scones, and it had a lightly crisp outer edge. The inner part was a little too doughy tasting for me though. The pumpkin chocolate chip bread was probably my favorite of the three items. It had a good balance of pumpkin, spices, and chocolate chips. The bread was soft and lightly sweet with a nice outer crust. It's made with whole wheat flour too so you can feel better that you're eating something a little healthier for you. Service was friendly and they have a points system through Five Stars. read more

I absolutely love this bakery! I come almost every week and buy their white bread. We make sandwiches, toast and just eat it plain (it's soooo good!)! It's also our go to with gifts for friends and family. The owner is kind and knowledgeable. All the staff are friendly and enjoyable to see every week. If you're close to this bakery, definitely check them out! We've also tried the cinnamon bread and cinnamon apple bread. Both amazing for toast or French toast. The jalapeño bread is yummy. Cinnamon rolls, pot pies, sandwiches, pies and lemon bars...oh and cookies and turnovers! Seriously so many amazing items and great people, this place nails it! read more

Fresh bread, baked goods and delicious sandwiches. You can't go wrong with coming here! I love fresh baked bread and nothing beats that fresh baked bread smell walking into the shop. What's great about the bread is it's all natural so there's not added preservatives. Got to love that! We came here to try out the sandwiches which you can choose all the various bread and make your own sandwich to your liking. I went with the sun dried tomato bread with veggies. The bread is so soft and tastes really fresh with a nice blend of great veggies. Super good! Great thing is they also give you a cookie and a pickle so it's pretty filling. My wife got the egg salad sandwich on honey wheat and was super yummy! They also had some great deals on lemon bars and cinnamon rolls so we had to grab those. Of course it's delicious and tastes like real food that doesn't have all those preservatives. Makes me feel less guilt? Haha Excellent place to grab a bite and great selection of fresh breads and treats. Ohhh and they have a sample bar to try out the breads. So good! read more

Super delicious bakery with a big variety of options. So many different breads and goodies. I wish I had a reason to buy more! We got a blueberry scone and a cinnamon roll. The scone was really good for what it was, scones aren't super flavorful and either was this one. It was very soft and subtle in the taste. The cinnamon roll was soft and delicious. It had the perfect amount of butter and cinnamon. It was probably the best cinnamon roll I've ever had! read more

Have made this a "regular go-to". I've stopped buying store bread. This place has me spoiled with the gluten lol. If you're going to eat bread.... why not have the best bread in town. They now offer online ordering (haven't tried it but saw a sign) I haven't tried the sandwiches yet but I'm eyeballing them, have to get over there at lunch. I ordered a huge, and I mean huge cinnamon roll wreath for Xmas! Whoa. Try that one too. read more

This place is amazing. The bread is good as well as the other goodies that are sold. The prices are beyond reasonable for the freshness. WGNB made a custom cinnamon bun cake for my wife and it was so good we all got in a cinnamon bun coma afterwards. This was the best I've ever tasted and I don't eat cinnamon buns on the regular. Great job and I will always go her for all my bakery news. read more

I've had Whole Grain Natural Bread bookmarked to try for a long time. I knew it was a place I wanted to try when I saw pictures of the cinnamon rolls and pot pies. I had a medical appointment in the area and figured it was the perfect opportunity to treat myself. I looked around and contemplated getting a small pie but I had my heart set on a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon rolls are nice and large. I grabbed one and continued to look around. The breads looked amazing but I had plenty of bread at home. Knowing that I had another medical appointment coming up I decided to get bread next week. I did find a package of dinner rolls that was perfect for dinner that night. I never saw any information about the pot pies in the store. I get to the register to pay and the total is a lot higher than I figured in my head. That was because I was charged double for everything I purchased. Luckily I caught it and they corrected it before I paid. Now to the products I bought. The cinnamon roll was terrible - dry and hard! I ended up throwing it away. The dinner rolls were good. They will be eaten but not something I'll crave. The big issue with the diner rolls was that there were only 10 in the package. I thought that was an odd number for a package of rolls. Then I read the package and there was suppose to be 12. I'm just disappointed in my experience with Whole Grain Natural Bread. read more

We've been coming here for years and loved the product. Family own store, faith based. When Covid hit, I went in and no one wearing masks as they are breathing in the product they make. Delicious, fresh and affordable! Support local! Go get some yummy cinnamon bread. Or sourdough! Or a quiche!

Hmm... Still love the quality and prices of the bread offerings here, but wanted to update review to mention that everyone should check receipt/s to ensure you're charged correctly. I came in today and took advantage of the Five Stars promo of "Buy Two, Get One Free on all baked items (limit one)." I chose four items. Not all of the prices are posted, but I was overcharged on the two of the three items I paid for. Yes, I received a baked item for free, as advertised (thank you!), but then was overcharged on the two items I had price info on. (No price info on loaves of Archaic Grains, so I do I not know if I was charged correctly.) I hope this was an honest mistake. Again, I appreciate the quality, flavors, and textures of the breads I buy from here, but please keep price discrepancies to a minimum! read more

This place has the best bread ever! They also make sandwiches for lunch, which are healthy and delicious!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Walked in two weeks prior to Xmas Eve to order special red and green dinner rolls that I've ordered for years, paid for the order with a pick up time of 1pm. Planned my whole day of errands around the pick up time. Receive a call at 0930 in the morning saying the rolls won't be ready until 3pm. I call, and get told they don't have a lot of orders for the red and green, so they have to stop production to wash down equipment because of the dye. Makes complete sense, I totally understand. However, it's not like this is new, they've been doing these rolls for years. So...how we feel, it's a "small" order, push them to the end because they aren't important to us, a mere inconvenience. Add insult to injury, paid for part of the order with a gift card, and they won't refund us that money either. We've been a loyal customer for years, we choose to do business with a small business, and now they've lost our loyalty. Sad Sad Sad our Thanksgiving and Christmas rolls that were conversation starters will be no more. read more

I used to work close by to this place years ago and I remember the bread being amazing and the sandwiches always being spot on. The staff was always so friendly and super welcoming I was in the area so I decided to swing by. The food was just as good however the staff (two younger girls) working the front counter had absolutely no personality and I felt like I was bothering them. They looked like they were being tortured, maybe they were having a bad day but definitively not someone that should be dealing with the guests. Paid $9 for lunch you would think a thank you would come with it. read more
