This is a pretty basic cab company, but I experienced some great customer service just now and wanted to share it. I took the cab to the airport and realized within in minutes of my cab driving away that I had left my phone in it -- not great! So I sprinted to the payphone to call the company so I could contact the driver and get the phone back. However, none of the numbers that I tried, including the one on the receipt were active!! Total nightmare. I went on the web and searched and called all kinds of numbers...nothing worked. I was able to use the Find My iPhone feature to lock the phone and used the sounds and messaging feature to talk to the driver, who returned the phone to me. Yes, I had to pay the phone's fare, but it was worth it. But seriously--what's the cab company's phone number? Good luck out there... read more

Cut me off three times on freeway aggressive driver just rude if that is an example of how they are as a company very very rude

My family had an awful experience with one of these horrible drivers. His name was ILKO MITRIKOV. Name: ILKO MITRIKOV Permit number: TA31966 Cab number: 5253 RIDERS BEWARE 1. ILKO MITRIKOV took the most indirect route on our drive to Circa. My group of 8 split up into two cars at the Park MGM and left within 30 seconds of each other. The first group of 4 showed up to Circa approximately 15 minutes before our car got there. ILKO MITRIKOV drove us on the back roads and led us directly to a closed street in the art district, presumably to rack up a higher bill. Our bill to go from Park to Circa was $10 more than our other groups ride, and we all went to the same place. 2. When I confronted ILKO MITRIKOV about this he jumped out of his car and got in my face and placed a finger on my chest. I told him to call his supervisor as I would love to report him and his route and he went back to his van without a word. 3. ILKO MITRIKOV was covering his identification information in the drivers seat on purpose. I have pictures documenting this. Felt pretty shady and uncomfortable when I noticed this. Beware! Risky Driver! I just had very scary incident with this company, when taking a ride through the Taxi vally service on the Paris hotel, After asking for an invoice for the ride the taxi driver gave me a torn paper with no invoice information on it. I told him that and he then asked me to go print the invoice from the back seat computer, while taking my luggage from the trunk, I went to the passenger door to print the invoice and the driver took off in a hurry while I was in front of the door, almost running over my leg, It was a very scary moment, I am thankful I did not get injured and in the end sadly I was also left without the invoice. I have a photo I took of the taxis back side also showing this was a whittle sea cab. The numbers on the back was 5271 it was a Ford Ranger from the Taxi Company Whittlesea plate number had 24D-Y77. Whittlesea Blue Cab - Whittlesea Dangerous Driver - Taxis Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

On April 5, 2025 we walked to the designated area for taxi's. As soon as my sister and I approached the taxi the driver locked his doors. The driver slightly lowered his window and we politely asked if he would drive us to the Orleans and he said no without any further explanation. In the 30 plus years going to Las Vegas I've never experienced this type of behavior from a taxi driver. I'm not one to usually bring up the race card but apparently the driver has an ignorant stigma about being afraid of African Americans. Bottom line this man requires some basic educational training on how to respect all potential paying customers or provide a valid reason for denying service. I didn't see any signs posted on the taxi stating that we have the right to refuse service to anyone. This incident happened between the hours of 8-9 pm on April 5, 2025 and the cab number was 6361. We were sober and very offended by his actions. We did obtain another taxi that drove us to the requested location. Took a cab from the Holiday Inn Express on East Tropicana to the Sphere to see U2. The hotel called the taxi for me at 5:45 but it didn't arrive at 6:15. Soft spoken gentleman was driving. Tried to drop us off at the Sphere but was directed to the Venetian Expo Center. He had to make a left on Sands from Koval and then a left across four lanes of Sands Ave. but did it safely. Made it there by 6:35. Less than $25 with tip. Car was clean and was glad you can pay with a credit card now instead of worrying about having enough change to cover the fare and tip. read more

I left my cell phone in a cab from this company a few weeks ago. I called and the cab driver (Beniam) held onto it for me and saved it for the next time I visited Vegas (see photo of when I was picking it up from him today). He drove to the Mirage where I was staying to personally drop it off to me. What an honest cab driver!! I appreciate Whittlesea for employing ethical people. Took a cab from Planet Hollywood to Sphere for Eagles concert. Vehicle was clean however the air conditioning either did not work or was not ran. Driver kept taking side streets which seemed to make our trip longer and therefore the fare higher. Cab ride cost a whopping 30 dollars. Our cab driver almost caused an accident with 2 motorcycles and when they pulled up alongside us and rapped on the driver window, simply to ask the cab driver to be more cautious about motorcycles, the driver because extremely aggressive and it was only de-escalated when I rolled down our window and intervened. CAUTION to wheelchair customers living in the greater, surrounding Las Vegas area. Wheelchair units are very limited and drivers get to 'pick their calls'. I live in the Centennial area and it took almost an hour before they found a unit to pickup--but this isn't the worst. I also, AT THE SAME TIME, scheduled my return-roundtrip. I waited THREE HOURS and called MULTIBLE times (to Whittlesea and others) being told they had no units in the area to bring me back home. I BEGGED and was horrified that Whittlesea would leave their 71 y/o wheelchair customer stranded! They said they could not require a unit/driver from elsewhere to come and return me home safely. Luckily, I lived less than 8 miles away, so I 'scooter' myself home with a one hour pitstop at Walmart to recharge my wheelchair battery--my heart was in my throat. So BEWARE, these wheelchair taxi services (all of them) don't guarantee to get you back home. read more

I wish I could give this business zero stars but Yelp won't allow it. I asked for a wheelchair taxi due to being in a mobility scooter. I needed to take a cab from the South Point Hotel and Casino to a dialysis center on Warm Springs Rd. I made the reservation weeks ago for a 4:45am pickup and waited over 25 minutes before I called another cab company who got me a wheelchair cab within 10 minutes. I ended up being late for my dialysis appointment but good thing the center was empathetic and understanding. HOWEVER I ordered another cab, and when he got here I was able to get the supervisors phone number. He was helpful....But our original cab driver had already returned to the hotel and was trying to find me! We were picked up at the Luxor on 10-17-2024 at about 9:30 or 9:45 AM and taken to the airport. Nice guy! We chatted the whole way about Christmas traditions in Ethiopia vs the US, because he said he goes back to Ethiopia every Christmas. It was about a $21 trip and I handed my husband $35 cash to pay him. We chatted more as we all got out and then he asked my husband if we were paying cash. He told him he already paid him in cash and to check his pockets to remember. He refused to put his hands in his pockets. My husband showed him his own pockets and said I don't have it because I specifically handed it to you already. The driver got upset, said karma will come to us, still refused to look in his pockets. My husband walked to the drivers side and told him we could have security intervene and pull up the cameras from the airport to show him and everyone else that he was a con artist trying to get paid double. He left before the dispute could be settled. Now all he has to say to his boss is that we didn't pay and he has $35 tax free in his pocket. I wonder how many times he does this in a day? We liked all our drivers from every company while we were there but we refuse to use Whittlesea ever again. Him yelling at us in front of our kids that karma will come to us all...what a jerk. One bad apple will take down a taxi business in a world where Uber would have been a better, more reliable option. He knew we paid him. Don't use this company! The wife and I joined another couple on a Hoover Dam Tour. Part of the tour package was lunch at the Miracle Mile Shops upon our return, along with a voucher with Whittlesea Cab to get us from the mall back to our hotel. Sounds like a winner, right? Alas, not to be. At the end of a VERY long day, I called the number on the voucher, and got the dispatcher. This incredibly arrogant and rude woman proceeded to tell me that Whittlesea does NOT send out cabs to pick up customers with vouchers. I'd have to wait at the mall until a Whittlesea Cab showed up by dropping off other customers. BUT...if I wanted to pay, she'd be glad to send one out for us. Given that we were seeing one cab (of ALL the cab companies) show up every five minutes, we all decided to just jump in the next cab. Based on this dispatcher, you could not PAY me to ever utilize Whittlesea Blue Cab. I'm in Vegas for business six to eight weeks every year, and NONE of the cabs I jump into will say Whittlesea on the side, I assure you. Stay away. Stay far away. read more

We're pretty familiar with Vegas and are aware of how to get around. We had someplace to be that was too far to walk so we hailed one of their cabs. This cab driver took the longest possible way to get us where we were going. What should have been a 10 minute drive took much longer and cost more than it should have. I usually take a Lyft or Uber from the airport, but both of them gave me a 20 minute arrival time, and after an exceptionally long plane flight, I looked at the line of waiting taxis and thought "What the hell, I'll just grab a taxi." BIG MISTAKE. It should have been $20-$25. I figured the taxi would be about five bucks more... But this guy made a POINT of driving as slow as possible. He never went over 20 mph in a 45 Zone, and was going 40 on the freeway. Of course, he managed to hit every red light. So 2 blocks away from my house, the price is already $40, and I tell him just to pull over and let me out. At which point, the total suddenly jumps up to $41 cash/$45 credit. Because this was a business trip, I have to put everything on credit card, but magically his system doesn't work... and I'd been trying just to pay the $45 with no tip, and now I of course have to pay cash, and because I don't have any singles, he ends up getting tipped for jacking my taxi ride. I was in Vegas in April and used this cab service one time. Since then they have been trying to keep charging my car in May multiple times and as recent as yesterday. My credit card blocked them but they keep trying. The original payment has already processed and cleared but they keep trying. This is really fishy that they do that!! Attn beware of taking cabs they will take the route that has signals that take forever and your meter keeps running pretty much on time as I watched the meter climb when we sat at a long light that was clearly not a shortcut, at least Uber or lift tells you the fare upfront and it will most likely be a better price then a taxi!!! In the car I felt unsafe his driving was absurd pushing and going pushing and going weaving in between the traffic cutting off other people everyone around us was mad you can feel this energy it was horrible absolutely horrible. When we got out I was in fear I went to grab our luggage from the back and he was yelling at us 00 because we gave him a zero tip cuz he was absolutely awful and he was just yelling and all my friends luggage came falling onto the floor and she was grabbing it and he was yelling at me to grab her luggage he goes I have to make money get the f*** out of my car it was absolutely horrible absolutely horrible I was never never disrespected this much it was horrible. We were in Las Vegas last week and on Friday, August 27th we were getting into a Wittlesea Blue Cab to take us from our hotel to another for a show. Our driver, Amir Sayar, was very rude. My husband took down his mask to tell him where we needed to go and he was a huge jerk about it. It was our first day in Las Vegas, and we come from a state where masks are no longer mandated (for now at least). We just weren't used to it yet. I understand the rules, and we do and did follow them while in Vegas. He could have been more diplomatic and just simply asked him to put his mask back on. Instead he was yelling and rude.
