Real unprofessional job. within 2 months my wife's car was sinking where she parks it, after a few years it has ruts, lots of puddles when it rains, and for some reason, twice I have it sealed and soon after started peeking. He said he doesn't used recycled hot top.......I wonder often about that statement. read more

Whittier paving did a great job, and I'm extremely happy with the driveway. Joe was very patient with all of my questions, scheduling was easy, even when it needed to change for weather. We have a 2 x2 car drive way and about 150 feet of sidewalk. It looks fantastic! All the areas where it meets the house, grass, landscaping look great. We had our driveway done by Joe from Whittier paving. After a few months of the driveway being done, there were marks/ cracks created in the driveway and joe said he would come back and fix them in June. He also was supposed to seal our driveway after a year. It has been two months now multiple phone calls, multiple voicemails, and multiple text messages and joe will not answer back. I would not recommend him as he is not reliable and we have all proof of text messages being ignored. I would be very happy to retract this review for a call back and fix of my driveway that was promised. read more

After 16 years of having a driveway Joe said that he could use recycled asphalt and did everything he could with the town to get it moving along. So far everything has been wonderful. I've read other reviews about Joe not getting back to them after having problems. I do hope in the future that does not happen. So far I am very satisfied. Kathy read more

25 years ago, when he was fairly new to the business, we had Joe put in a long driveway. Wonderful job! 20 years later he resurfaced the top and seal coated (by hand) our driveway. Now 5 years later we have moved and Joe and his awesome crew tore up and replaced our even longer driveway. Did it all in one long hard working day. The driveway is gorgeous‼ So happy we were able to utilize his services again. Wouldn't even consider using any other company. His crew of sons and a long time friend are respectful, neat, quiet, no swearing, eager to please...I would give them 10 stars if this program let me. Had our driveway done last Fall. Nice family run business and responsive before the work was done. Not the most expensive nor cheapest, but my family had a successful long term results with their work. Looked great upon completion. I even had to fork over an added $1000 for disposal of the unknown 3 other driveways beneath the exiting. Fair, it was an unknown and wanted to start fresh with a solid foundation. We waited the recommended time to keep cars off the asphalt while it cured. To this day, one year later, our cars continue to leave depressions where the tires sit. This is very obvious after a rain, leaving puddles where the tires once sat. More of a liability, leaving ice patches in winter time. And also groove lines from pulling in and out on the same path. Seems real soft. No response from this, aside from a recommended seal coat to fill in depressions, then ghosted. I see other victims on BBB with same issue. I'd find someone else, lots of pavers in our area. Wish we could post pics. read more

Joe and his crew are the best! They just resurfaced my 200 ft. long driveway and thanks to their professional workmanship, it makes the property look like a million dollars! Joe honored his verbal quote to me from a year ago when I finally called him in March 2019. He returned my call right away while he was on vacation in Florida. Called and had an appointment with Joe to come out to my house. Nice guy gave me a reasonable estimate for what I wanted done. I had to talk it over with my wife and called him back 2 days later and left a message to let him know that I did want to move forward with the job, I asked that he return my call to ONLY acknowledge that he received my message. I have called back 4 times over the last 2 months and not 1 call back. I am going to move onto another company. I suppose if I were a big company I would have mattered more to them. Terrible. Paved my driveway and within weeks it was falling apart. Called numerous times to have them come back to fix it, only once did someone come back and sprayed some weed killer on the weeds that were poking though the new driveway! Yes I had weeds growing through the driveway they put down. Horrible customer service, as I kept calling to tell them the edges were completely coming apart, the entrance was a disaster and I ended up with a rather large space between the road and the driveway entrance, and they angled the driveway towards my house instead of away from it. When it rained the driveway acted like a funnel for the water to go right into my basement. This place is the worst - do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!! read more
