I'm 78 years old and it was 90 degrees. This, after OKing his proposal and then making multiple attempts to get him to commit to a day and time to do the job. He finally said he'd be there Wednesday, August 12 in the afternoon. He never showed up and never called. I texted him asking why. This time he actually phoned me back and apologized, telling me he forgot because he was so focused on some other job. I explained that I had gone to a great deal of effort to prepare my property for him and was just about to suggest a new date when he became defensive, telling me that no money had yet changed hands. I thought to myself that if he treated me this way before I paid him anything, how would he treat me after got my money? After having "Junior" Reyes Landscaping cut my lawn for a several years, he recently dumped me…read morebecause I had the nerve to complain about damage he & his men did to my property; namely cutting the leg off one of my lawn chairs (which was on a patio) the digging up of grass (because his men were so much of a hurry to get to their next property, they didn't care about mine - thus digging up areas of lawn to the soil). And the damage to perenial flowers pulled out of the ground. Junior is not a professional, he's a hacker not taking pride in his work-and doing damage and not taking responsibility for his damage. Also not keeping his word to return and fix his damage. His leaving me like this has caused much anguish, as most companies already have their customers for the season and cannot absorb another. Now I've been in charge of the "landscaping" of my yard, so let's just say it was an absolute nightmare to begin with...I mean bad...to the point I almost (notice I said almost) went and cleaned it up before they came. These guys went nuts. Within a couple hours all the over grown bushes were trimmed down, the scrub was cleaned up and I was left with this awesome looking yard I hadn't seen since what seems like the dawn of time. Even better, the guys came to my door when they were done, walked me through everything they did and asked me if there was anything else I wanted them to do before they left...how cool is that! Needless to say Michele is super happy and have officially locked them in as my go-to landscaping company.

We hired him for recurring weekly mowing. We never knew when he'd show up, and it was different almost weekly. When we'd ask when he was coming, he acted annoyed. He came one week only a couple of hours after heavy rain and destroyed part of the yard because it was too wet. I told him it wasn't a big deal because it's been so wet, but just an FYI that he tore up some of the lawn. His response was that our lawn was always too wet in that area...not even a simple sorry, just letting us know it's our fault not his. Then things got bad. He did not show up one week because of rain, and he couldn't fit us in later in the week...which I understand completely. Then the next week he said he was coming, but days went by and nothing...so at the end of the week I messaged him and asked if he was coming, and he said that he didn't have anywhere to put our grass clippings, so no he wasn't. He never even contacted us to let us know that he was having an issue, just gonna no-show. The following week I texted him to ask if he'd let me know when he was on his way so I could clear the yard of the kids toys. He told me that he was not going to allow me to be "checking in on him" and that it wasn't a good fit. He then said he was dropping us the same day he was supposed to show. This guy really treated us wrong and I don't want it to happen to anyone else. We now have a jungle for a lawn and are leaning on a great referral to come fix the mess.
