Had our driveway done by Seacoast Concrete owned by Jason Woods. We took his bid, even though he…read morewas our second choice, without any negotiation but as soon as the job started he mentioned several times how he hadn't charged us enough and that the job was "killing him", we "beat him up" etc, etc. We never even negotiated the price! During the job, the crew (who were all very nice) got concrete on the siding and three doors of our new home. Jason was unable to remedy the problem and stopped communicating with us. Later, we contacted him to see if he could fix voids in the driveway, and after weeks of waiting for a response, he told us he had no interest in helping us resolve the issue. Not only that but he mentioned another problem with the driveway (caused by his poor installation) and said I ought to try fixing that myself! He is as poor a business person as you will ever meet, heaping on insult after insult. Embarrassed that we paid him in full as he is truly the worst contractor we have ever hired. Stay far, far away!

Groundwork's crew were awesome from the initial quote process to final completion. Christian was great in the sales process and Mikah Ramos and Mickey Snip were excellent in the solution. They removed all the old insulation along with the rodent waste, cleaned out our crawlspace and sealed it all up to prevent rodents from coming in. Worksite was left cleaner than when they arrived and they were super efficient. Price wasn't the cheapest but it was fair value (they do have a good and easy 0% interest financing option) and they were able to schedule the work much sooner than other places. They handed me off to a General Manager John M. Who was supposed to put out the fire so to speak. He just showed up with gasoline. There was always a reason why he couldn't resolve the issue. In the end my frustration led me to just tell him to forget it. I still have an unsealed entrance way and am really not getting any where with that. I have had to take off 5 work days for the original job, and 5 more for all the "fixes". I am absolutely beside myself as to how we have been treated by this company. We absolutely love the finished product and their process was great as well. At the end of this project we immediately signed up for a phase two. If I had to identify cons I would say that their communication between signing the contract and the start of the project was minimal and that the subcontractor they selected for resurfacing my driveway was not good as they left a finished product that I'm not totally satisfied with. Overall, Bayberry is super professional and they are true artisans. I have recommended them to several friends and would recommend them to anyone doing landscaping or landscape design.
