This morning (Saturday July 26) my husband and I were going back to our room 202 after breakfast, when we found out the lock didn't work (no green light flashing when the key is presented). We tried both of our key cards. It didn't work. So, we went to the front desk and asked Keke, the front desk manager, to help us. We are Diamond members of the hotel and we stay there many times. KeKe was the one who helped us get the engineer to fix the lock a few months ago. It took a long time for the engineer to arrive last time because he had to drive from home. Nevertheless, the problem was solved. This time KeKe sent the engineer (Celine Philips) to our room. We waited at the lobby while he was trying to fix the lock. After 20 minutes or so he said the lock was fixed. According to our previous experience and many times staying in this hotel, when the lock was completely dark (no light flashing when key is near) that means the battery of the lock is dead or very low. When we used our key on the lock, it flashed red and yellow (normally when the battery is good the light should be green according to our previous experience). So, my husband asked the engineer (Celene Philips) if it's fixed. He answered, "yes it's fixed." However, when the lock flashed red and yellow, he should've known that the battery is still very low, and the lock could die any time soon. Yet he left telling us the lock is fixed. Later in the afternoon at about 4PM, when my husband and I came back from outside, we found the lock NOT working again!!!! We were locked out of the room once again. So, we went to the front desk. At this time the front desk manager is a nice gentleman named Shurod. After he understood our situation, he used a power bank to recharge the lock and opened the door temporarily. We got in our room and packed everything and moved to another room Shurod arranged. We would be staying there for another week so it would be nice to have a room with a reliable lock. I would like to compliment the front desk managers KeKe and Shurod for being helpful and understanding in all those 3 unpleasant situations that happened to our locks. I hope this hotel does a better job maintaining their lock batteries (maybe test the batteries occasionally, so they don't die on guests when they need to get into their room for emergencies or run to the airport). We travel frequently for business and have stayed at many hotels all over the world, yet we never had this locked-out-of-room situation in other hotels except for Hampton Inn Snellville. We come to Georgia very often and whenever we are in Georgia we stay in Hampton Snellville. We chose this hotel because it has a great gym and great staff (except for the engineer who didn't fix our lock). We really hope that the hotel can improve the locks situation and hopefully this WON'T happen to us again. Because it was a big hassle every time it happened, and we are paying customers and Diamond members who don't deserve this 3 times in one year. A little too much too frequently. I wish you good business and a prosperous year ahead. Sincerely, Ken & Angel Hunt

I have been hearing feedback from others the ownership was not the best and cleanliness standards were deteriorating. Some stated that the rooms reeked of weed. Tonight after arriving on a late flight and with an early meeting I stopped by a few minutes after midnight. Being after midnight my Choice Hotel app showed a rate of $109 for the following night but not the present night. I went to the front desk and asked and showed the man the rate on the app. He then went into a discussion of why that internet rate is wrong and the real rate is $160. I asked him to call the Choice Hotel reservations if he felt this rate was wrong. I was just asking him if he would honor a late arrival (after midnight) with an early departure in the morning. Very aggressively he said no and if I wanted a room it would be $160. Seems expensive for the area and it felt like he was just wanting to pocket the difference beyond the published rate. And this was really bad and rude customer service. Like "wow" that is outrageous and too strange. They are not on our recommended hotel list after tonight.

I arrived late--as usual--and check-in went smoothly. The front desk agent was extremely polite and helpful. I asked for a plastic key (I always do this as a backup in case the app fails), and while she was processing it, another employee (Not front desk maybe engineering are maintenance) chimed in to say I didn't need to visit the desk if I checked in on the app. I had literally just explained why I came down, so that felt a bit dismissive. Either way, I got my keys (she gave me two) and headed up. My Hilton Gold status wasn't acknowledged--not a big deal, but it's usually part of the routine. My room was on the 7th floor and looked great. Just inside the door was a Cuisinart coffee maker (dual-cup), a small refrigerator with two complimentary water bottles, and a low countertop with two drawers. Between the coffee area and the closet was a wall mirror. The closet itself had hangers, an ironing board, iron, and a safe. At the top of the closet, there was what looked like a concealed compartment--unclear what it's for, but it stood out. The bedroom had a wall-mounted TV above a second set of drawers with an ice bucket and glasses, a desk with a non-rolling alligator print chair (surprisingly stylish), and a plush armchair with a side table and lamp. Bedside setup included two lamps, an alarm clock, and a limited number of USB ports and plugs. Outlets were scarce overall--one near the coffee maker (but half-blocked), and one in the hallway. Another not positive note is they have no free coffee so you can't get a cup of coffee without paying for it and that is the first time I've encountered that at any Hilton anywhere. The bathroom was clean, with a glass shower, lighted mirror, and a built-in nightlight (which I always appreciate). Towels were average--not luxury, but not thin or scratchy. A hair dryer was provided. The door had a solid privacy guard at the bottom. I didn't have much of a view at night, but the room felt comfortable and well-kept. Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff was great--super friendly and welcoming--but the food didn't impress. The bacon was practically inedible, hard like plastic. Pork sausage links were decent, and the Gouda cheese grits were flavorful but salty. Pre-made waffles were good. There were the usual extras like breads, pastries, and fruit, but overall it didn't feel like a standout Hilton breakfast. I didn't go back after that for the rest of my stay. The snack shop by the front desk could use serious attention. It was heavily stocked with healthy options that didn't seem to be selling, while candy and chocolate were gone almost immediately. I had a late night chocolate craving and came up empty-handed--only ice cream was available. On top of that, they sell glass Coke bottles that require a bottle opener, but there's none in the room or the shop. I had to go back to the front desk and ask the guy to use the one he carries in his pocket. That shouldn't be how it works--either include a bottle opener in the room or offer one with the purchase. I didn't request housekeeping during my stay, but I liked that they left a card on my door letting me know I could reach out by 2 PM if I needed anything. That's a nice, considerate touch I haven't seen at other Hiltons. Parking is mostly in the rear. There are Diamond and handicap spots up front, but for most guests, you'll need to walk a bit either to the front entrance or the side door--even from the closest spot in the main lot. Each evening, the hotel had a lively vibe. The bar and patio areas had groups hanging out, enjoying drinks and conversation. It seems like a fun place to stay if you're here for leisure. I was just in town for work, so I didn't get to take advantage of it--and I never even saw the pool (if they have one). The night staff were friendly and attentive every time I passed through the lobby. Overall, the hotel is clean, the staff is great, and the room was comfortable. Just a few tweaks--better breakfast execution, a stocked snack shop, and accessible bottle openers--would elevate the stay. On a side note I had to sign into the Wi-Fi on my cell phone and my laptop every single day of my trip At other Hiltons I stay signed in the entire time I'm there or maybe after 5 days it resets could you have your IT people adjust that setting please It's a pain when you're behind a VPN for work

Some of the guests didn't get the welcome bags. It just seemed to be very poorly run and the staff didn't care to find out what the problem was.

I love low-key places that put you in the heart of things while providing privacy, comfort, and luxury. Upon arrival we were greeted by Adam. He was kind and welcoming. He made us feel right at home. After showing us to our room and settling he left us to explore. What a beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. The decor inside of our room and throughout the manor was breathtaking. I took my time exploring each room in the common areas to make sure I didn't miss a thing! Our room was located on the first floor towards the front of the house. It was clean, smelled great and spacious. All of the amenities for a in-home spa experience were provided. They even sell spa packages. I bought the lavender scented on because that's one of my favorite scents. We decided to run and pick up something to eat and bring it back to the bed and breakfast. You have the option to eat inside of your room or in the inclosed patio. We chose to sit in patio which is where breakfast is eaten as well. They offer complimentary breakfast that's served buffet style. When we got to breakfast the next morning I asked for a fresh pot of eggs. They had no problem accommodating and the food was very good. If you book a stay during the warmer months you'll love the option to take a dip in the beautiful pool. If there's an emergency Adam is just a phone call away and not far. His quarters are on the property grounds as well.
