About 2 years ago I had took my pickup truck to them to get brakes put on. When I went in i had…read morepurchased the brakes myself and they told me that they were not the right ones. I asked them how much I had left on my brakes. They told me that I still had a little bit of time left before I would have to get new ones put on. I took my truck a week later to someone else and they let me see what my brakes looked like and come to find out Taylor Tires let me drive my truck without any brakes on the back and I had no brakes on passenger side. So the only brakes that I had was on drivers side and they were very very thin. How can you allow someone to drive off in their vehicle without any brakes. I could have been killed or injured. And I could have killed someone or injured someone if I had hit them. How can they sleep at night knowing that they did this. So please do not take your vehicle to this place for anything cos they will lie to you. I have to rate them so I can put my review on here but they dont even deserve 1 star

Here's a situation where a dishonest mechanic could totally have taken advantage of me. David, the owner, did just the opposite! Price was way better than I expected, he went WAY above and beyond the call of duty - this is the first time I ever tipped a mechanic :D Anyway, in a very short time, I was back on the road to FL riding in comfort with my happy cat and I cannot thank David enough for his awesome work. For those of you not from the Bible belt-- a flat tire in Dalton GA on Sunday morning is a PROBLEM! Found this place and they were open. Next PROBLEM- my car has "run flat" tires, meaning no spare tire. You can't drive 5 more hours on a tire with only 22 pounds of pressure- loud hissing of air after filling. Every time I have replaced a tire, the big tire discount store had to order, not a common type Anyway, they were so kind and understanding. They fashioned a hard plastic plug for the hole in the tire then patched- he said he knew I needed this fixed so I could make my appointment. 1 hour and $35 later- back on the road. BTW- beautiful, huge clean bathroom with plenty of soap, paper towels, TP. Marble tiled floor. Gigantic 3 screen TV. Comfortable (kind of) seats. Awesome place. I can't figure out why bad reviews. Wish I could give higher than 5 star review!
