Since that time mid last year, the company has changed and restructure some of the pricing however, the bigger point for me writing this review is because of Michael. Today when I pulled in, Micheal gave me all the services that you should receive as a concierge at the car wash. he was so kind and informative, he educated me on the pricing and what the regulations were concerning the subscription. I took the advantage of the deal that was offered, and I went on my way. Before I left Micheal asked me was there anything else that I needed? Honestly, I don't know if the rest of the staff is as kind and courteous as Micheal was. I do see different things done when I pull up to actually get my car wash which I was quite intrigued by. I gave the review of four star because of some previous experiences but mostly because Micheal was great. Now at this time, I'm looking for consistency not with just Micheal because he naturally is a great customer care and concierge. He should work the pull-up station all the time. Since I have renewed my subscription, I will be coming back and following up on my experience. I really enjoy having a great experience wherever I go because I believe that customer care wins. I was angry and left an overexcited voicemail, in the moment, to the owner. I figured that I just got scammed and wrote it off. The carwash owner restored my faith in great customer service. He called me back today and was extremely sympathetic. He looked at the video and said he suspected this was going on in past but didn't have proof. He refunded my carwash and listened to me rant about that awful thief. I am a regular customer and have always had positive experiences at this carwash. They pretreat the wheels and even give you a cold drink. Their method of washing preserves the paint job. I love this carwash, their nice employees, and now the owner.

Yes, a nice guy came out and scrubbed my windows. Great. Loved that for me. Unfortunately, that was the only part of this entire experience that felt like actual effort was involved. The undercarriage wash? I am not exaggerating when I say it lasted about three seconds. THREE. I've had longer eye contact with strangers in line at H-E-B. The rest of the wash moved so fast I genuinely questioned whether I accidentally selected the "blink and go" package. There was no deep clean. No satisfying rinse. No moment where you think, yes, this is why I paid for this. Just... speed. Chaos. Disappointment. It felt less like a car wash and more like a car drive-thru designed by someone who hates cars. And for $17?? My car left looking like it had been politely introduced to water, not actually cleaned. This place isn't about quality--it's about cranking out as many cars as possible and hoping no one notices they just paid premium pricing for a rinse cycle with commitment issues. I drove out offended. My car drove out confused. Never again.

I'm calling it now: I won't be going anywhere else to wash my car…read more Max Express in Manor has figured out something that apparently needs to be announced to every other express car wash in Texas: SLOW. THE. TRACK. DOWN. Your vehicle actually spends enough time inside the wash for all those brushes, cloth strips, sprayers, soaps and assorted whirly contraptions to DO THEIR JOBS. Other car washes, please take note. Flying me through your tunnel at Mach Jesus while some sad little brush gets approximately 2.7 seconds to slap the side of my car isn't getting anything clean. Max Express gets it. The track moves slowly enough that your car actually gets scrubbed, rinsed and CLEAN. I consistently come out the other side with a vehicle that looks like I paid for a car wash -- which, strangely enough, is exactly what I'm hoping for when I pay for a car wash. Then you pull into the detailing area and they've basically said, "Here. Finish her up properly." They have clean rags, window cleaner, leather conditioner, scents you can spray, a machine for cleaning your floor mats and vacuums that'll suck a dead man off the carpet. Seriously. Those vacuums mean BUSINESS. And here's another reason I keep coming back: I coordinate my car washes with filling up my tank because you get 20 cents off per gallon with the wash. Clean car AND cheaper gas? In this economy? Say less. I love this place. They've got everything I need to get my car squeaky clean inside and out, the equipment actually works, and I leave feeling like I got my money's worth. Can't beat that with a bat.

Despite a slight language barrier they are pretty nice and the process is pretty straightforward. Yes this is truly a hand car wash experience and they mostly do a very good job at cleaning my whole car in detail. They seemed pretty detailed oriented, washing and wiping all the nooks and crannies. I also love the plastic rocking chairs! There's a shaded sitting area where we can wait and it's definitely needed since the wash itself takes a while especially inside and outside cleaning. The waiting area makes the experience kinda cozy and relaxing. I would suggest avoid coming here in the weekends unless you arrive at opening around 8am. The wait is just too long any other time. If you come here on a weekday afternoon around 1:30 pm there's usually no wait at all! The wash is decently priced and costs a fraction of those mobile car washes. My water bill also sky rocketed so this is an excellent alternative for me. My only complaint is that on busy days there's oil residue or streaks on my windows and my theory is that if you come on busy days, they run out of towels and start recycling l the dirty ones.

Why are there 3 people working and 2 are controlling the payment machines, taking my card while I can perfectly do this myself? And asking me if I want just basic wash? Leaving me feel judged for driving a Honda CR-V. The car wash was maybe an 3.5 minute event. How in the world would I know if I had the hot wax that I opted for $15, vs. the assumed and suggested $8 basic wash, during this (too) fast trip? I didn't get to take after car wash pictures, because it was disappointingly not clean. Lucky, there were towels that I could use to clean and polish after the not so clean wash.
