So silly! I was getting gas nearby and did a quick search for a car wash near me. This was a few blocks away and had good reviews so I gave it a try. It is very self serve. You pull up to the car wash and pick your type and pay with a credit card. I went during "happy hour" 2-5 which includes a free upgrade! So I got the $13 wash for only $11. You just pull in and the machines move all around you. Usually I go to ones where you pull onto the track and it moves your car through. The dinosaurs everywhere is so funny and random. Easy in and out and my car is clean! I will go back! read more

This has become my favorite spot for cleaning out my car, and it's one of the few places in Austin that even has a shampooer. They also offer a self-service dog wash, which I haven't tried yet but think is such a fun addition. The customer service here is honestly the best part. Every time I've come by, the staff have been kind and helpful--shoutout to Marteen for going above and beyond when the card readers were down, insisting on cleaning my car for me and doing an amazing job. That kind of service is rare these days. On top of that, it's secretly my favorite nightcap stop when friends are visiting from out of town. They're open 24/7, and the dinosaur animatronics make it worth the trip alone. Tried this car wash to be honest it wasn't like the pictures. The one on the left side the machine wasn't even working just one was. No workers to help you. Beware!! The car wash seemed extra short but I didn't think that much about it. The next morning while I was loading up to go out of state I noticed soap (verified it was soap) still on my back window and passenger side mirror. When I sprayed it off I saw that it had eaten off the paint on the top of the mirror. By the time I got to Ft Worth it had peeled off even more. The manager's response was to send me a free car wash but say there was no way the car wash could be responsible. I assume it was just a rare glitch, but just make sure your car is fully rinsed. read more

I've been going here to wash my car for years, maybe 7 or 8. I'm finally leaving a review because this week they really went above and beyond. I went this past weekend and after going through one of the automatic bays, I noticed that the back of my car hadn't been cleaned and there was still debris and dirt all over it. Additionally when I tried to vacuum the inside, the vacuum wasn't working and it ate $1.50 of my money. I went back on Tuesday and explained this to Hector who not only hand washed my car for me but also sent me through the automatic bay again, this time for the top package which was more expensive than the one I had purchased. The icing on the cake was that he also paid for the vacuum so I could finally do that as well. GREAT car wash. These are so rare these days. I was randomly on S. Congress after picking up my car from the dealership. Of course, they didn't wash it after they serviced it. It looked like they parked it in the mud at some point. This place takes credit cards, vacuums, and a vending machine with car wash products. They also have a pet wash station in the back of the lot. Cute decor of the various dinosaurs. I only used the high-pressure water, but it did what I needed to do. The credit card swipe can be dangerous as you lose track of time and pay more than expected. However, I am glad it was a clean functioning car wash. read more

I've been here a few times. It isn't touchless but can get a decent job done for cheap. $7 or $8 is the cheapest option. I got stuck in a long line once. There is no way to turn around and leave if you change your mind. There was no wait today. The men on-site do a decent job scrubbing by hand before your car wash starts. They seem nice and work for tips. Bring cash! I still had 2 red spots on my window from chalk paint after the entire process but no big deal. I can't complain for $7-$8 bucks. I was vacuuming my car at 8 pm and had been there less than 30 seconds when all the sudden a creepy guy came up behind me (literally behind me) and I could feel his shadow. He presumably works there and was wearing a blue uniform. He proceeds to stand next to my car on the same side I'm vacuuming without a single word and then walks in front of my car to get a wheelbarrow he must have left. Not once did he have the decency to wait until I was done and give me a safe space around MY CAR. I move as fast as I can to finish and get to my driver door as he then starts messing with the vacuum I was using. I wasn't even finished, but I decided to give up. I was terrified he might try to get in my car. I have never been so scared in my life. All I could think about was at least my Dash Cam recorded this entire exchange in the event I ended up dead. And I was ready to scream I needed help to the girl who was vacuuming in the next lane or the BBQ food truck. Can you please keep your creepy employees away from single girls at night who are trying to patronize your establishment? He doesn't seem to understand anything about basic human decency or boundaries. It's not okay! I've never felt so unsafe and will never be back. Imagine someone approaching you while you were using an ATM and this is how that felt. read more

I just wanted a basic drive through car wash and was prompted to tip a guys to Pre-scrub my windshield when I got to the machine entice, increasing the cost. As I was somewhat captive, there was no escape. Other than that, the prices are typical for an auto wash, though prob not worth the drive into south Austin just to find the place. Needed to take my car to the BMW dealer, to have some finish issues inspected. As it is in Texas during the winter, it rained and the car is covered with mud. The streets were starting to dry and I needed a good wash. Stopped here, no line, as can be expected. All the controls worked, the brush was in good shape, wax gave a good shine and the price was good. Didn't give the 5th star as I didn't have time to vacuum. It's a good spot but some of the lanes are not working right when I use the wheel & tire cleaner nothing but air and mist comes out like if it ran out . It takes like almost 1:30 minutes for the wheel and tire cleaner to come start to come out . The air turbo blower I feel like it's not that strong to blow out the water so if your vehicle is not ceramic coated I do not recommend as you will waste money . The presoak is not presoak it goes straight to high pressure soap. The high pressure soap does not have soap it's like as if it is just high pressure water. The brush even though I high pressure the brush to clean it before use still scratches the vehicle and never used the brush ever again . read more

it used to be a great place to wash your car. now that it was sold they raised the price, lowered the time and only offer soap thru the washing brush. I don't want to use a brush on my car and I didn't know they had removed the high power soap option until I put my money in. on top of that they actually took my money from the middle bay and that one didn't work! the person whose number is there no longer owns it and they bought it for investment in the land. This will just be a review of the automatic non-brushless carwash and (hopefully) not a review of the customer service... that will be seen. I will not be using anything but brushless car washes again. My car shook twice as the brushes made physical contact with my car, rubbing paint off my fender and cracking my bumper and fog light surround. I will be working with my insurance company for the repairs. I will follow up on this review after the results of how cooperative Jurassic (and their insurance company) are about this situation... Update 12/13/18- After having $1,900 of repairs done to my car, the car wash is accepting no responsibility. My insurance company is conducting an investigation, and has been provided video of the automatic car wash in action which proves how the mechanics of the car wash caused the damage. Really nice staff. Three self-washing stations and two automatic. The value wash seemed unbeatable for $11 and my car was looking spotless afterward. The staff member mentioned that people enjoyed going through the right side due to the dinosaur that squirts water at your car and he was present doing a prescrub. It's been hard for me to find a drive thru car wash, but this one is conveniently located in South Congress and the most expensive wash is $11, plus if you want you can use the extra stations to dry off your car or vacuum the inside. Good place for people like me who don't want a dirty car, but also don't want to put in the work to hand wash. read more

It is sooo freaking hot outside!!! But that's not Jurassic Car Washes fault!! I was able to wash my car and scrub some stains out of my seats there! I was shocked at how good their upholstery cleaner was- it actually worked very well! I would recommend going early in the morning or late at night until it cools down though. Good place for a car wash and also if you want to vacuum your car (DIY). The wash is automated and you have a selection of car washes to choose from starting at around $8. After you finish with the wash, you can park in a spot and use the vacuum for a small fee. You have the option of carpet cleaning as well. Jurassic is, without a doubt, the best drive thru car wash in town. Martin drops whatever he's doing to scrub the rims on my car before I get into the tunnel and is always there to provide an extra hand.
