Leaves ur car greasy and don't even wipe down everything they put on your car all the way. Smear marks on trunk, handprints on windows and bad attitude from management. Made an appointment at 2 and supposedly someone made an appt at 1. But takes "2 hrs to clean or we'd be a multi billion dollar company" said the manager (sounded rehearsed). So why are there appointments available when we have to spend 3 hours to get a car cleaned. So much for spending $180 on detailing a car and all you get is a discount card to come back. Why would we come back this car is still clearly not wiped down. I understand your job is hard and you clearly do not want to be there but why is there 8 people working on 1 tiny honda civic and still cant manage to detail the car properly my little brother could do a better job I guess I'll be hiring him for the summer.

$100 charge plus tip.

Went today to try Washaroo for the first and probably last time. Made an appointment and left a note in the appointment that said I'd just got back from the beach and wanted to get the sand out the car and the salt out from under. When I got there I found they charged at the beginning- okay fine. It included tip (which you had the option to opt out of) I just went with it cause I had no cash. We discussed the note of needing to get sand / dirt out. He said it wouldn't be a problem. Waited for a couple cars in front of me - no big on that I was out in an hours time or less. That said I made a mistake was not checking the work before I left. Every wheel well was still covered in a white sandy residue that they obviously made no attempt to clean. There's still several bug gut splatters across the front as well as a bug body thats still fully lodged in a crevice. Seriously disappointed and won't be recommending. And if you do - check the work. *** edit update below *** Going from 1 to 4 stars based on yesterday's and today's experience. Messaged by the company today to come by to redo the wash which I took them up on. The main manager guy running today was much friendlier than yesterday's. On top of that it's nice to see someone who's 'managing' also helping his people out. Dude was getting his hands dirty just like everyone else whereas yesterday's guy chilled inside when he wasn't taking payments from new shows. The manager guy who greeted me was aware of the situation and confirmed what the issues were. No additional payment. I took notice today as I went through the process of the wash and detail - I think the 'tunnel' of the wash area makes it hard to see some bug splatters because it's shaded and dark. So if you have a darker color car it might be harder to see. After the detail the wheel wells look great. Everything inside touched up even better than before. There was still some bug splatters on the front but the main guy I'd talked to came over and pointed them out and they helped quickly get them off which I appreciated. The people here work hard. So props for that. I would still say that if you are using this service you should still take it upon yourself to check it out before leaving to make sure that what you were aiming for was done. I'll be giving washaroo another chance in the future though. Thanks for reaching out to make it right.

Horrible ass customer service. The manger was rude. Constantly cutting me off. Rushing me for payment. Proceeded to constantly touch my car after I asked him not to. The lack of management skills that were displayed today, did not resemble manager more like a child being placed in an adult setting.

We'll start with the good... They have a cool logo and their owner seems nice. Ok, now to the bad. Several different times, I have been charged different amounts for my standard SUV. Very inconsistent and it leaves a feeling that they are trying to nickel and dime you for more if you don't push back. This last time, again I was charged the highest amount for the "large SUV". I went inside to inquire what constitutes the price for large SUV vs Standard (thinking maybe large is for trucks and SUVs with a 3rd row). The woman at the front desk didn't have a clear answer and instead told me "it's negotiable." Not what I would want to hear as a customer and again brings that feeling of being charged to the max until putting your foot down. This same trip, I had a busy day and called ahead to see how busy they were. I was told not very busy and to come on by. I got there 6-7 mins later and fast forward 2 hours and 10 minutes until my car was finally done. Just for a standard inside/outside wash ("super wash" I think it was called). No detailing. I left exhausted and ready to get out of there without fully inspecting the car for quality. I got home and noticed hair and dirt all over the center console, cup holders, and everywhere in between (see pictures). How on Earth in 2 hours and 10 minutes could they miss this?! I drove back to the shop (yes, it was after closing hours but staff was all still there) and showed them this. I was very polite and told them I understood things happen but I would like it cleaned since I paid for it. One employee said it was because 4 people didn't show up for work. Ok... That sucks but is not a reason to sacrifice quality. Another employee was kind enough to take my vehicle and vacuum it. While he was vacuuming, another employee came up to me and told me "I was f**king lucky he was helping me." What kind of customer service is that!?!? How am I lucky that someone is doing the job they were paid to do?! On their second chance!? Needless to say, I was ready to get out of there and wash my hands with the experience and will not be back. The final nail in the coffin after numerous less than stellar experiences.

This was a pretty big disappointment. :( And based on the other reviews, it looks like many people have experienced the same issues I did. I made an appointment online for the $30 package, and when I pulled up I was told that it would actually be $40 because my car is a 3 row. Sure, nbd, that's fine. But then I was told that I needed (not asked if I wanted--big thing here) my headlights cleaned, which would be an additional $50. As I came here prepared to spend $30, I declined. When I pulled up to the second guy (who was very nice btw), I was told that I again "needed" a new windshield which would be an additional $345. Again, I wasn't prepared for that kind of service nor was I looking to spend that much today, so I declined and finally went inside. I was called outside to get my finished car not even 10 minutes later, which in itself was a red flag. The exterior looked fine, but it doesn't even look like the inside was touched. Cup holders, dash, parts of the seats look filthy. Super disappointed that I spent $40 for a job that could've been done at a quick drive thru car wash instead, which probably would've been better because then I could've vacuumed/cleaned the interior on my own and done a much better job. Won't be coming back and still on the hunt for a decent car wash in austin.

I found this place to be quite unprofessional. Purchased the voucher then got there and was charged an additional $30 for AmorAll (which is weird that a package of this amount wouldn't include that - who doesn't get this service when having their car detailed?). The guy had already written the "codes" on my window for what was being done. Then I added the ArmorAll. I asked him if it needed to be updated he said, no this means it will be done. Thankfully, I asked the guys at the end and they said (1) it just means wipe down and (2) the other code was a spray way (but the package/Groupon specifically said "Hand Nano Wax"). The guy at the beginning came over and said it didn't include a hand wax - when I tried to show him (like I showed the other guys) he just said, "Never mind, we will just do it" - like he was doing me a favor. This is all after I sat at the detail area and watched him argue (loudly) back and forth haggling with another customer. It was absurd. The wash was good but it is unlikely that I will be back.

Looks better than when I bought her over 5 yrs ago!

I have recently been through a few moves with my family and service dog and my car has transported my beloved artscrafts, and large plant collection. You can only imagine the nightmare they had to deal with but my car was cleaner than I've ever seen it before! I highly recommend this place as not only do you truly get the value for your money but all of the staff is incredibly welcoming and helps you understand what the best wash is for your car!

I have two kids, so even though I try to keep the car tidy, it inevitably ends up with the usual signs of family life--crumbs in the crevices, sticky fingerprints on the doors, and plenty of dust. It wasn't in terrible shape, but it definitely felt "lived in" and was overdue for a serious reset. Jim did an absolutely phenomenal job. He is clearly an "old-school" professional who takes a lot of pride in his craft. He didn't just wipe it down; he meticulously detailed every inch. When I picked it up, the interior felt crisp and brand new again. The leather was perfectly conditioned (not greasy), and he managed to get all those tricky spots around the seats that are usually impossible to reach. What really impressed me was the value. I have paid significantly more at other "high-end" detailing shops in Austin and received less attention to detail. Jim treats your vehicle like it's his own, and his pricing is incredibly fair for the level of work he puts in. If you are looking for an honest expert who will make your car look showroom-ready again without the markup of the big franchise shops, Jim is your guy. Highly recommended.
