Truly terrible work and they can barely answer the phone or return a call. The spa they "detail cleaned" looked like it was used as a mud pit prior to delivery. It is so incredibly dirty. They also reassembled all of the paneling on the outside of the spa incorrectly and damaged large portions of it. I now have to replace a ton of it and reinstall it myself. The person who recommended this place to me told me it used to be run much better when the father owned the place. I guess it's the son who took over now and isn't living up to the previous standard. Overall just a terrible experience and seems to be a very poorly ran business. read more

BEWARE OF WHITESWAN POOL AND SPA IN OXNARD, CA!! SHOP ELSEWHERE! I recently purchased a new cover for my spa. I'm a repeat customer having spent thousands of dollars on previous covers and other products. It was installed in January and I already have 2 slits in the cover. I spent $1000 on it! I called many times and never did they return my calls. I finally went into the store to be told my only options are patching it or spending an additional $500 to cover the whole thing! They were completely unwilling to work with me, a repeat customer!! While they appear friendly and helpful at first, once an issue comes up they will ignore you and/or refuse to work with you. I bought my Dimension One spa from Whiteswan almost exactly one year ago. Darren was my sales person and he was very friendly and knowledgable. After negotiating a fair price for the spa, I threw them a curveball by telling them that I needed to have it installed within the next 2 days (for a big mother's day party I was throwing). They were able to accommodate my request and had it delivered, connected, filled, and running perfectly within 2 days of purchase. The installation guys were very nice and very careful moving it into my backyard. Spa has been perfect ever since. Since then, I have stopped by their store in Oxnard many times for supplies, etc. They are always friendly, courteous, and helpful. I've interfaced with Lupita and Deborah on several occasions and they are always willing to help me with a smile. In addition, I get a 15% discount on products since I bought my spa there and the prices are lower than what those products cost on Amazon! Very satisfied customer. read more

Amy was very passive, aggressive and rude with me and acted indignant that I was upset that I should read their policy on shipping. I really recommend you avoid business with this company. Horrible customer service. I ordered a Spa cover from this folks and was told it was going to be ready in 3 weeks. I waited 12 weeks and no cover. I gave an extra week to 13 weeks and nothing. I also ordered some pillows for my spa and paid for them and they never delivered them. I actually got robbed by this folks. I do not recommend this business at all. They charged me for the cover and had to fight with them to get reimbursed. I had to call my CC to cancel the order. Not honest people. read more

I recently bought a new Spa (Antigua) from Whiteswan Pools and Spa of Oxnard. Micah (owner) was my contact their. He met for the first time and he was friendly, professional with a casual no nonsense approach. He was very informative and direct which I appreciate. The process was incredibly easy and problem free from the Big Red Crane company lifting the old broken spa and installed the new one. No issues with hitting anything (lines/rooftop trees). The Whiteswan staff installed the new Spa with a terrific staff named Tony (see pic). His crew made sure it was very clean when they left. A special appreciation to Debra who coordinated all business related tasks like scheduling, billing, Email contact etc. The actual electrical hook up was completed by the knowledgeable Santiago with Micah giving me a tutorial at the end. This is a review for the hot tub service. We had bought an Artesian spa at a different location and they're located too far away to service it, so when a part broke, we looked up an authorized dealer nearby and Whiteswan came up. I called them and got on a waitlist for a service since they didn't have anything immediately available. About three weeks later I got a call for an appointment. The next day Tony came out and looked at our tub. We were within Artesian's warranty so the part was covered and we only had to pay the cost of the service. He came back two days later to replace the part. Tony was knowledgeable, friendly and quick. It's been about a week and everything is working well. read more

Recently purchased a spa from Whiteswan in Oxnard. The process started well when dealing with the purchase but once they got the money the tone changed quick... Tried to get an electrical quote from them for weeks leading up to the delivery. Finally got a quote at the last second and after many calls. We decided to go with a different electrician which seemed to make the relationship much worse. Spa delivered but they did not hook it up to the electrical service we had installed as instructed by their sales person. Owner basically called my wife a liar about a conversation he wasn't part of. Then after we got our electrician to come out to hook up service we asked Whiteswan to come back and setup the hot tub as promised by the sales person which they refused to do. After we tried to do the setup ourselves and ran into problems their response was to set a service call for 10 days later. Hope you have a better experience if you deal with Whiteswan but for me it has been the worst customer service I have ever had from a business. read more

Ron came out to give us an estimate on our pool/spa repair and remodel . I wasted 30 minutes explaining the issues. He acted like he knew what we needed and would get me a bid "by the week end". That was over a week ago. NO BID. If this job was too much for them, he could have just told me and not wasted my time and delayed the start of my project. Very unprofessional. It's now been 11 months since I took possession of my new Artesian Grand Cayman hot tub (spa) on June 3rd, 2019. It holds 475 gallons, seats 6-7, and has 52 jets, including 4 foot jets & a large typhoon jet. I bought the spa from Gail D. at Whiteswan Pool & Spa in Oxnard, CA. Gail was very professional and knowledgeable in answering all my questions and patiently explained the details and advantages of the various brands and models they carry. Whiteswan Pool & Spa have their own technicians on site that can service all the needs for the life of the spa. They also have a full inventory of accessories of filters, chemicals, and aromatics to choose from. I appreciate that they have been in business for over 45 years and everyone (Toni) has been exceptionally friendly and professional every time I've visited the store. I look forward to doing business with Gail & Toni at Whiteswan Pool & Spas for many years to come. I continue to be pleased with my choice of hot tub. I had a really good experience with these folks. I got a great deal on a used but perfect condition hot tub. I worked with Gail D. in sales, and the whole process went really smooth. She stuck with it, from the initial order, to the chemical sales, all way until the hot tub was delivered. The delivery crew made a pre-delivery site visit to make sure I was all set, and when they actually made the delivery everything went really smooth. And they were on time on both visits. Worst customer service ever on a spa cover replacement. We got the cover in the summer, an $800 item. A few months later, after the first rain, we noticed that water was pooling on the top. When I called, the woman who answered asked every question she could think of to imply we had somehow damaged the cover. I asked numerous times to speak to a supervisor, who never got on the phone, or called me back as I requested. I sent a bunch of photos to prove that we were not responsible, i.e. was there a tree overhanging? NO, was it fully in the open? YES etc. I have never dealt with a company that tried so hard to evade responsibility. We finally got the new cover, after months of back and forth and waiting. The difference is visible. It is not fully flat, but has a bit of a slope from the middle on either side so water runs off, and the top is much more solid than the other cover. Clearly, we had a defective cover, which the installer should have noticed to begin with. A very unpleasant experience, and not a company I would ever use again. read more

But....thru an unbelievable chain of very lucky searches, beginning on Amazon.com, I somehow managed to find Micah at White Swan Pool & Spas! Hallelujah! Micah was a virtual goldmine of information on everything I needed, and to put frosting on my cake? : their item prices were lower than anywhere on the Web; and instead of charging the usual exorbitant shipping/handling fees most sellers nail Hawaii buyers with, he charged me only the cost of USPS priority mail....not a dime more; and finally? although their shipping department was closing in only 15 minutes, he somehow managed to get my parts out and on their way to me before they closed! My experiences with Gail (sales person) and Ron (owner) were wonderful! They were patient and understanding of my situation, and they helped me choose the right swim spa for my auto-immune disease. Gail was available when I had questions, and Ron came out to my home to look at my back yard to see what might work for the space I have. I'm giving 5 stars because they were pleasant, helpful and they really didn't pressure me; rather, they assisted me in finding the best option for my medical conditions. Also, I got a fantastic deal for a 15' swim spa. I've compared prices with several other pool companies, and their prices are very affordable compared to anyone out there. Originally, I was going to go with an Endless Pool that was several thousands dollars more, but I wouldn't have had nearly as many add-on options. Another positive thing to add is that White Swan Spas offers the Tidal Fit swim spas (among other brands) that can be placed partially in ground and partially above ground, which no other local pool companies seem to offer. They even extended my warranty at no extra charge. Finally, the time it takes to get your swim spa with White Swan is about 14 business days which is amazingly fast since most companies take at least 6-8 weeks. Buyer beware, absolute criminals! This company kept almost 10000 dollars of our money with no product at all. We began buy signing up for a layaway for a pool at the Oxnard location through James, when an unexpected death occurred in our family and we would need to leave the state, we contacted James who requested we speak with Micah the manager who stated we would get a refund but he need to speak with the owner who we found out later was his father. Micah then began ignoring calls and emails, we hired a lawyer and also discovered that their lay away contracts do not meet California lay away laws. We later were to meet with Tony at the Oxnard location to discuss picking out a spa we could take with us or sell for the same value per Micah's agreement. When we arrived to the location Toni knew nothing about our meeting and couldn't get ahold of micah. Would not recommend purchasing anything here, I've been told by others they have also had trouble with them. read more

Mixed feelings about this company. The repair men seemed competent, hard-working and nice but the company itself seems problematic. First issue: they don't return calls - you can speak to them directly (the lady that answers the phone is rude!); you can leave VMs, and still they do not get back to you. Second problem: they came in to fix one issue with the hot tub and suddenly another problem occurred. Was this coincidence? Hard for us to know but I would not use them in the future. Terrible experience with this company. They cannot answer questions over the phon. They tell us they sent emails that never came. We go to the place and they don't have any information or know anything about what's going on with their repair guy who cannot be reached for a variety of reasons . They took a part from the spa several weeks ago and still have not given us an estimate to repair a leak. As usual before buying any big ticket item I do a bit of research on the internet and then search out my local resources. Unfortunately, I just got confused and felt as if the sales people at the stores either didn't know their product or just wanted to sell anything and didn't really care what my needs were.
