Once the tech was gone it started acting weird and ever since it has worked horribly. I use my phone for work so it's very important to me and the buttons and touch functionality just does not work right. If I'm typing in an address or a note when I'm trying to press one number or letter it will constantly press another no matter how hard I try. BEWARE!!!!!! Just…read morelike all the other reviews, bottom line up front - this guy is bad news and a crook. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! I was dumb enough to go through PULS for a technician to address a dryer and oven issue and this was their "recommended partner". My first time and last time using PULS; that is for sure! FYI, this guy now uses a name of "Jalmal Holeman" vice "Mr. Taylor" (with his connection with PULS) - and I am sure he has many aliases as well as fake telephone numbers. When he first reached out to me after PULS referral, he attempted to call me but didn't leave a message. He then texted me "this is the dryer technician, please call me back." When I called the number back, it was a Google Voice number (that should have been my first flag). After I called him back, he told me he was a "partner of PULS" and I asked him specifically, "what company do you work for in the Phoenix area?" After a long pause, his answer was, "PULS." (that should have been my second flag as I am assuming he knew I would research "Mr. Fix It" on Yelp and I would decline his services). He then came over, in an unmarked newer used gray truck with a temporary license plate and parked as if to avoid my outdoor cameras (opinion after this ordeal). I let him in and immediately he tells me, I know what is wrong with your dryer taking clothes to dry so long....you need to do an inwall duct cleaning for the lint and a detailed cleanout". He never even turned on the dryer (this should have been the third flag) but "guaranteed that will fix the issue and I offer a 1 year warranty; and I will do all this for $375." Total rip off but his claim of guaranteed got me. He then did the clean out...never even turned on the dryer once to ensure the temperature was adequate (which was my complaint to PULS). Now to the oven....he did almost no troubleshooting (less than 2 minutes) and came to the conclusion I need a new "PCB" and it will take two weeks to get it. He also said I must pay for the parts and labor in advance (should have been the fourth flag) and was really pushing me to Zelle or Venmo the funds. Instead, I used a credit card (fortunately as I have a chance to recover funds due to lack of services/parts rendered). After he was paid and left, I noticed the emailed receipt of "Mr. Fix It" and ended up here on Yelp (horror to my eyes). I gave it a little time to see, if in fact, this guy would come through with the parts for the oven and make my dryer in proper working order. Three weeks have elapsed, the dryer hasn't been fixed, no parts for the oven, and out almost $1000. He has disconnected that "google voice number" he contacted me with and even the telephone number on the credit card receipt is disconnected. And to make it even more special, the address of his business on the credit card receipt is even fictitious (the address doesn't even exist - google it yourself)! See the attached photo for that fakeness. BEWARE!!!!!!! .
