I really wanted a body wave perm. Being that perms aren't as common any more I had to go to a few different salons for consults. The first ones I went to told me they simply didn't have the rods that they needed to achieve what I wanted. When I went here I was under the influence that when they said they could that they had the supplies. Being that it was my first time I don't really know much. My hair is way tighter than what I was looking for. I went back to the salons I went to before to see what size rods they had to see if they could have done the same thing for me and they did. Lori has been doing my hair for several years now and is a perfectionist. I am totally gray and you'd never know it. She does my bling highlights and roots so perfectly it looks natural. Recently, I was out of the country for an extended period and had another stylist do my hair color. They came highly recommended and literally ruined my color. Had an exceptional experience when I went for my head spa treatment and blowout. The salon is modern, friendly and my service provider put me at complete ease. I have a sensitive scalp and was a bit concerned because I don't like vigorous shampooing or brushing. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I have been going to the salon for over 2years. I inquired about extensions and Andrea went through everything with me, so I decided to do it. The first year was fine, then she started raising her prices because she got a promotion . It cost me over a hundred dollar more than previously. I continued to go there. 2nd year they started for charging me per hour for extensions. I had a heart attack when she gave me a bill for over $500. So it took her less than 2 hours for application, and she charged me for 3 hours. She says she was timing it. This happened several times. The last straw was when I was told I have to give them a deposit, because I didn't buy the hair from them??? I was doing that for years. Please do not go there, eventually your price of service will continue to go up, and be treated like they don't care, you don't matter. Its the owner that dictates the price. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Really really disappointed with my treatment at this salon. This place is a SCAM!!!! Front desk lady canceled my appointment when we got there slightly late to our appointment. We had a big event and they reluctantly agreed only to do a hair wash. I was basically bullied into paying $103 for a hair wash + product. Meanwhile my friend who was there who had the same hair wash + product only paid $50. I am in disbelief that a salon charged 100 for a single hair wash. It's really wrong how they took advantage of us knowing we're not from the area. It's ridiculous and a scam. Andrea is THE BEST. I was visiting Clearwater Beach on vacation and hadn't been to the salon for color for a looooong time. My hair was a wild mess of natural ashy blonde/ brown roots and dark chocolate orange/ brown ends from box dye. I thought, "eh, why not? I'll just give this place a try." I saw Andrea and she is a FIRE GODDESS. She was able to blend out all of my box dye ends and leave me with a gorgeous, natural-looking blonde balayage look. I couldn't believe how incredible she made my hair in one visit! A true artist. It has been a few months and my color STILL looks great. Yes, this salon is a little pricier than some but I fully got my money's worth and will go back to see Andrea next time I visit the beach! The salon itself is pretty and the products used were very high quality. They also have very comfy sinks (???)! Not sure why every salon doesn't have comfy ones like these! I've heard so many different stories from a lot of people about this place, some good ,some bad , my awesome hairdresser was all booked up for the holidays so I thought , well here's my chance to give them a shot , so I called and I ask for someone who had been there for a while with a lot of experience and they gave me Emily. The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life . My hair was in really good condition until she got her hands on it. She's very unprofessional, non-sociable, she has that entitled kind of attitude. All around not good , so as she's slapping color on my head doing foils she gets it on my Lululemon jacket but to her it's not a big deal , she says "it comes right out " but she didn't get it all out. I was there for over three hours just for partial foils she left the color on for so long I got so nervous so I went to go get her and she told me that I needed to trust her, another big mistake . She fried my hair and in the back of my head she left a big chunk of blonde , she never even gave me a mirror to see the back of my head there was no one left at the salon because of course they were closed, I guarantee this if they were open she would've never been able to leave that crap in the back of my head , she would've had to fix it because other people would've seen it I never had a partial foil take over three hours close to four hours. Emily is not a professional because she would've taken care of how my hair looked in the back . She bragged about being some ambassador for some hairline that I purchased from and she trashed Amazon for selling that hair product saying it was fake.she did a terrible terrible job. Her attitude stinks. everything about her is terrible. But for you people that had good luck with her. It was a miracle on your part. read more

Worst part is that I now have a fungal infection on my thumb. Place scheduled me for a hair trial knowing my wedding date and then did the hair trial and told me the incorrect price for the trial on the phone so told me they would do the original price they told me. Then they finish my hair and it was alright but I'm about to leave to pay and then they tell me that can't do hair on the wedding day anymore and won't be available. Then charged me 200$ for a hair trial that wouldn't even matter since they can't do my hair for the wedding. I drove two hours to have a Japanese hair straightening done I was quoted $450 on the phone by one of the owners . I arrived to my appointment and I was greeted by the two owners that brought me to the shampoo bowl shampooed my hair and brought me to the station then they made me sign a waiver saying if " they damage my hair they are not responsible " I asked the owner what would happen if damage did happen she immediately got defensive and told me that we would face time and talk about the situation she said that she would over lap the hair if " damage occured " the second owner told me that the price would be $575 as I am sitting there with cold wet hair I told them that I was quoted $450 and AGAIN defensive . They went in the back of the salon to " talk " and left me in the chair for 10 minutes. They come back and give me two options to charge me $575 ( that's the starting price ) or to blow dry my hair and have me leave the salon at this point I wanted to leave I had them blow dry and iron my hair ... they " professionally " ironed my hair still damp and blow dried my hair with there bare hands no brush was in sight . I immediately got up and left the salon i am just so upset that they would call them selves professionals when they treated someone like this who drove TWO HOURS to have a service done . It's not about the price it's about how I was treated I felt from the moment I walked into the salon I was not treated well and they just didn't want to be there . My sister and I booked the Perfect Day package. IT WAS AMAZING! I absolutely LOVED my facial! I have had a massage before at a different location and I hated it, but this massage made me feel completely comfortable and so relaxed. She was absolutely FANTASTIC. My husband was the smart one and he walked out. The gal in front of me was trying to check out/pay her bill and book another appointment. The gal at the front desk didn't have a clue what she was doing. Finally the client felt sorry for me and stepped aside so I could book my manicure. When I showed up for my appointment, I was made to wait over 20 minutes because the tech was running late. My manicure took almost an hour and a half... unacceptable! We had a large group booked for our blowouts and got the biggest sticker shock. This salon's hair styling is a la carte, which they don't tell you. They charge for shampoo, blow dry, using hot implements (flat iron or curling iron), and teasing hair as separate extra charges. One person in our group with curly medium length hair got charged a whopping $75, just to have her hair curled and lightly teased. We only found that out after we made it to the cashier. Be very, very cautious to ask their stylists for a price as each one has their own voodoo formula as to what constitutes extra charge. read more

I had a really great massage the other day with Brandi. I chose the deep tissue massage, and Brandi has really strong hands and just the right amount of pressure. She kept checking in with me to make sure the pressure was ok. She mixed in some great stretches with the massage, including one using a towel to stretch my neck in every direction. I have a very sensitive neck, but this stretch was perfect. If you're looking for a great massage while in Clearwater, I can't recommend Brandi and Sharmaine's enough. They ask what products you normally use and they give you so many options to choose from without making you confused. I like how they give you a choice. Here for the Japanese straightening I am so excited after so many saying they couldn't see me because they were booked or they couldn't do it because of my hair type. We went here to have some hair feather extensions put in our hair. They didn't have a very good selection of feathers, they were quite expensive and they were sparce and thin so you needed at least 6 to be able to see them which cost considerably more. They told us that they would last at least 2 months, maybe longer. They fell out of our hair 3 days later. They put them in with the compressed bead rather than the glue. The glue holds better. The people that worked at the counter was friendly but the others were stuck up and their prices were high. I will not go back there again. read more

I went to Clearwater Beach with my husband on a business trip. While he played Golf I headed to Sharmaine's which was highly recommended by the Hyatt where I was staying. (Even though they have a spa!) I felt right at home immediately. Ashley made my appointments and was very professional and kind. I had my waxing done by Donna who did a great job and provided me with some great skin care advice. I wish I had time for one of her facials. Kathy did my nails. She was very friendly and did a great job on my nails. She was fun to talk to. She even convinced me to do something a little different (added a sparkle to my french manicure). She even cleaned my wedding ring when we were through which I really appreciated. I returned a second day for a pedicure by Kathy. I was way over due and she again did a great job. The salon over all had a lot to offer if I would have discovered them sooner I would have had scheduled a full spa day. The salon was clean, the staff friendly and professional.
