What a cute shop nestled in a group of shops in the Bishop Arts District stores. White Rock Soap Gallery has a variety of products: there were candles, soaps, incense, and lip balm. They have some nice prepackaged gift collections all ready to go! Service was okay. There were two people seated at the back of the store and they didn't offer any help. But, I am pretty sure they would have responded if I asked for help. I didn't realize this was a collective of artists in one shop, which makes more sense of how they had a lot of variety in the various products. I liked smelling the candles. I just didn't find one that sparked my fancy. The soaps are all natural, which I found amazing. You have to wind around the shop, because it is long and thin. There were a lot of products packed into the space. The prices looked fairly. I remember it was around $28 for a candle. I would definitely stop by and check them out again. read more

There are several locations of this business, but this one is my favorite. I love coming here to get gifts for teachers, friends, etc. The smell inside isn't overbearing like one might think, and the employees know just about everything there is to know about the products. I highly recommend the lip balm! Their gift box (which is several products of your choice for I think $15) makes a fantastic gift. They neatly package it and wrap it with the ribbon of your choice, so it's highly personalized. Definitely check this place out! read more

Solid soaps and supporting local is a plus! I usually buy foam soap from bath and body works but they're starting to get expensive since I work from home during the pandemic. A bottle used to last me months, now I go through a bottle a month. I switched to bar soap because they last longer, better for the environment, and supporting local! I love the Lake Highlands location and stop by frequently to check out their amazing array of products, including exotic house plants. I've made several people happy with gifts I've bought there. My skin loves their goat milk soap! My only critical comment is that several bars of soap I've bought there in the last month or two have ended up having little to NO scent when I get them home. (You know something's wrong when you leave several bars of soap in a warm/hot car for a while (an hour or two?) and there's barely any scent when you open the car door. I wish they would label products so we know what the shelf life of items is. Several bars I bought recently to scent closets and drawers are just . . .inert. No fragrance. This used to work so well. They are from the Luke-Dean label, FWIW. I would give 5 stars without hesitation, if it weren't for recent disappointments. Yes, I smelled the products in the store and they seemed fine, but disappointed when I got them home. Time to rotate inventory? Talk to the makers? . . read more

In the bishop arts district, this store fits in like a glove. It's a soap/body product store/ art gallery which is so interesting! The art and products are by local artists which is even better because you get to give back to the community if you purchase anything. I bought some face loofas and whipped pink grapefruit shea butter. If you check in on yelp at the store you'll get a 25% discount on one item. First time visit last month turned me into an extreme fan. My daughter has very, very sensitive skin, so much so that we can't even wear lotions or use detergents outside of a very specific allergen friendly brand. I was impressed that we were able to purchase many soaps for her and our family during our visit! Candles, loofahs, soap holders, bath gels, and so much more. What an amazing little store! My first visit was down at the bishops art area! We smelled some wonderful fragrances and decided to pop on in! Wasn't disappointed! All local soap and face cleanser and WRSG room sprays! They carry a variety of things and it's wonderful for anyone who is looking for vegan all natural sulfate free items! It's 100% pure natural oils and material! I couldn't be happier! If you're unsure about certain soaps for a facial cleanser they are happy to try and supply you with a sample which is amazing! I spoke with the manager and he told me if you bought an item that is glass you could bring it back and get charged for a refill! It would only take a few days and you could come back and get it. Love the idea of being able to reuse and not having to waste! 10/10 would recommend trying a few of their soaps and the activated charcoal bar as a facial cleanser for oily-combination skin! I love the products, the service and the whole concept. Great crafted products for women, men, kids and home. I really love the scents of the candles and they are high quality products. I may end up getting a few baskets around Christmas time. However, I would humbly suggest adding yourself to the marquee of that shopping center or adding something more identifying to the sign. I love the logo--you spent a ton of money on branding. But that logo does not reach folks across the parking lot. I drove in circles looking for the shop. Also, maps such as Waze don't like that area and actually sent me from the shopping center into the neighborhood and back into the shopping center to find the shop. I was so frustrated that I didn't buy anything when I got there. It really could be a problem for new customers who are not familiar with the logo or don't see it way in the corner. read more

I don't live in Dallas but I love to visit this shop every time I'm there! In-between visits I simply order online and the folks there are so accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. I'm a big fan of the reed diffusers, bath salts, soaps & candles, but there is much more than that to choose from. Many folks are getting WRSG Christmas gifts from me this year! The candles here are amazing and made locally and I always love to support my community. They don't smell perfume-y or fake! I also like all of the little locally made soaps, sprays and lotions that are small batch made and I believe also relatively locally made. I love this place. The soaps smell wonderful and it's also a great local place to buy gifts.

I picked up one of their candles (Gardenia) at White Rock Farmer's Market the past summer, and have been using their products since. The scent is very apparent (compared to other soy candles I have used) and it burns slowly. I took the candle with me to college and it reminds me of home and the great experience I had buying this candle. My boyfriend has been through two tins of their pomade as well. Definitely an understated business that needs more attention! I'll definitely be buying another candle and maybe some deodorant the next chance I get! read more

The body salve is my favorite especially during the winter when my skin feels extra dry. I put it on one time in the morning and it lasts all day.
