I had two caps placed on my teeth that required extensive fitting due to previous work not performed well enough to stay on. Dr. Hirt not only placed the caps on my teeth, he did it in a manner that was nearly painless and most of all, the crowns fit perfectly. No high spots, no odd points of contact. I asked Dr. Lawson to remove some amalgam fillings many years ago. He did not use the safe…read moretechnique to remove them. He only used a rubber damn. For the last 18 years or so, I've suffered from migraine headaches, dizziness, brain fog, and ground my teeth down and have bad gum recession due to all the grinding. Recently I developed an infection in my mouth which led to a bone infection. I had to have a tooth pulled because it was the only way to clean out the infection in the bone. Even after antibiotics, I still have infection in other places in my mouth. I recently went to a biological dentist to have an old crown redone - one that Dr. Lawson did!!, and it turned out I had an amalgam filling underneath the crown. I still have another old crown in my mouth that probably has amalgam underneath it as well. In case anyone doesn't know, amalgam fillings are 50% mercury! Mercury in the body causes many problems. It causes migraines, affects the immune system, and can eventually damage organs. Why didn't Dr. Lawson tell me I still had mercury in my mouth?? I've struggled for so many years to try to get healthy! I am so angry!! I also have a heart condition, and the mercury might be responsible for that too. I stopped going to Dr. Lawson, partly because every time I went, he had a different dental hygienist. A woman at my job, who was the one who had recommended him to me, stopped going to him as well. Why can't he keep a hygienist?? Something is not right with his office.

After the first appointment I knew I had finally found the right dentist! My family and I have been coming to Dr. Moon for years, and we think he is amazing. He knows what he's doing, and always gives helpful suggestions. My nephews also go to his wife, Dr. Barbara Moon, and she is equally good. He has two offices. One in Pasadena and another one near the Medical Center in Houston.

I went to see a dentist nearby on an ER basis but he just charged me for an exam and x-rays, gave me some antibiotics and referred me to a surgeon. Really? I was in pain, I needed this tooth extracted asap! Money wasted. I was referred to Dr. Moon by my husband's family and took the time off. He looked at the tooth and said it could be removed - just pulled - not cut out. I was nervous to have anything done but he talked me through the "pinch" of the needles and during the entire extraction. In no time, it was pulled. I was very grateful. My grandmother has been going through some dental procedures and she even stated "Where have all the good, old fashioned dentists gone?" I am here to say, Dr. Moon is the best and I highly recommend his services!
