If you need an hygienist that will give you comfort, be patience, gentle, with understanding of anxiety Yanet was the person for me. Yukie was very very gentle and taking my ex-rays. By the time dentist Appel came to examine my teeth I begin getting anxiety feelings again and he assured me it would be fine. He was very kind, and gentle with me listen to my concerns giving me a very good examine and before I knew it he was done. I came to this office because I needed a mouth guard for my grinding.after visiting Dr Appel on several occasions I realized he just kept pushing alternate treatments. like sleep test and other mouth equipments and refused to give me a mouth guard until I completed everything in his list. I felt like an experiment and u til he exhausted all other options he would not give me a mouth guard. After I voiced my option on how I felt. I received a letter that they would no longer have me as a patient. I am disappointed in this office and it's medical (professional). Thats why I give them a one star. read more

He is utmost professional, experienced, competent, empowered with knowledge and so very nice and respectful. I instantly calmed down. I don't normally write reviews but it was a must that I write this review about how great Dr. Appel and his staff are. 1st thing 1st I called at about 730am to get an emergency appointment because I was having unbearable tooth pain, Dr. Appel called me to inform me that they were out of the office that day but he would definitely come in to see if he could help me, how amazing is that! It was my 1st time visiting the office which was clean and inviting, Dr. Appel is very attentive, knowledgeable and thorough he explained all my options and was able to get me squared away, I can't leave Annette his dental assistant out she was awesome as well and very personable. I would like to give this place more stars unfortunately I can't. Me not knowing about insurance coverage chose a dentist that was out of network and the insurance verifier neglected to let me know my coverage would not be covered at 100% so now I'm going to have a balance with the dentist and I find that just inconvenient and unprofessional! The dentist was good. The service was fast but the fees are explained at all! For instance my children need sealants which is usually no out of pocket, and the scheduler keeps trying to schedule these appointments for me but after talking to my insurance company the teeth that need sealants are not even eligible for the sealants yet. Come on now do your research! And if I would have done the sealants they would not have been covered by my insurance company and I would have had a nice bill coming back to me! Nope! I will not be going back to this place!! read more
