This dentist was recommended to me as I was not happy with my previous dentist last year. I am extremely happy that I did decide to make an appointment with this dentist. I had my exam and cleaning last month. The front office staff is extremely professional, friendly and making an appointment was easy. The dental practice is very nice and welcoming (and the restroom is amazing). The hygienist was friendly and gentle and did an amazing job at the cleaning. The dentist did a very thorough exam (so much better than the last practice I was going to) Today I went in to get 3 fillings Not only did she explain step by step but she also made sure I was at ease the entire time. I had a great experience here and highly recommend! I had been looking for a new dentist close to my work. The lady who helped me over the phone was super nice and helpful and was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day during my lunch hour. (Very convenient!!) The facility is beautiful, clean, and everyone was nice. After a very friendly check in process, i went to the restroom. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, floss all available to use before my appointment. Fancy soaps were a nice touch, too! The lady who took my X-rays and cleaned my teeth was awesome! As an African-American prospect patient to this location, who happens to be an independent paralegal, I must say that the discrimination against me at this location was absolutely appalling, and I am thinking about legal action. I entered this location to find out if my insurance would be acceptable, but I asked to use the restroom first. Amazingly, I was told that I had to have a seat and after waiting nearly 2 minutes for management to rudely explain to me that the restrooms are for patients only, I knew what time it was. Mind you, I was a prospect patient, but I am glad that this discriminatory dental office revealed its true colors before working on my mouth. I do NOT like Gustafson Dental. I got Invisalign braces through her office. During the first ten-month course of braces, she NEVER once saw me. When I went in to get new trays, an assistant would only check to see if any "buttons" had fallen off. When I was supposed to be done, there was a gap in my teeth that had not been there before. Other teeth were still not straight. I had to have a second ten-month course of braces. My teeth still are not straight and Dr.G has still NEVER once looked at my teeth. I went to a real orthodontist and found out that it will take a third set of braces to get my teeth straight. I have since found out what a dentist is supposed to do for Invisalign patients and Dr. G was very negligent. She never once looked at my teeth. In twenty months, no one ever scanned my teeth to see if they were moving correctly. In the course of having x-rays done at the Orthodontist, I also found out that the implant that Dr. G did is not completely in the bone and will have to be replaced. I have asked for a full refund but she does not stand behind her work. I am out thousands of dollars because of her negligence and shoddy work. Best dental experience I have had in my entire life. Seriously, from the moment you walk into the office, you get greeted by smiling faces behind the counter. No sliding glass windows with clip boards going thru them. Very nice reception. The lobby area is like a hotel lobby with a leather couch and nice comfortable chairs. They even have a bar height laptop counter. In the back where the action is, it was like walking into a spa, laid out very efficient with state of the art equipment. TVs on special retractable arms that can be placed directly in front of you during the procedure so you can watch your favorite show. My hygienist was very nice, polite and most of all, gentle. Didn't feel like I had jack hammer taken to my teeth after I left. Dr. Gustafson was very professional and nice as well. Highly recommend this dental office if you want a pleasant dental experience. Finding a good dentist is hard to find and I must say Gustafson Dental is probably the best dental office I've been to and the staff are just wonderful. It's located on the second level of one of the newer buildings in back of the plaza, closer to the apartments, in back of Denny's. Love their office, very clean and kept up with technology. I appreciate the early appointment slots, and they respect them too because we all know how doctor appointments go, you have to pretty much allot like a half day, but here you don't, if you're appointment is at 7:30 AM, they'll see you at 7:30 AM and get you in and out without compromising service and quality. I enjoy having Dr. Jaclyn Wedemeyer checking up on me, even if it is just for a routine cleaning because she's careful and gentle and gets the job done. Dr. Gustafson did a great job with the recent dental work I had done! Having moved to a new area, I needed a dentist that was closer and thanks to Yelp I found Gustafson Dental! I've had a cleaning, filling and now a crown done here in the last 6 months and have been pleased on all levels. The staff is very friendly and the hygienists are also very good at ensuring you are comfortable at all times. As someone who fears the dentist's chair, I may have actually been cured of my phobia. In addition to friendly people, the office is always immaculate inside and does not smell medicinal like most dental offices. They have flat screen TVs in every area so the patient (i.e. Me) can be distracted by shows on Netflix, instead of freaking out about the needle in her gums. Dr Gustafson is great with kids! Ever seen kids who WANT to go to the dentist? My kids love their visits to Dr Gustafson. She is very quick and even offers a toy dispenser which operates on tokens provided by the receptionist. The waiting area is very plush and reminiscent of a cozy family room right out of Better Homes and Garden. Best place for shy teeth! The office is clean and attractive. When I come in I feel at home and relaxed. The staff is always very courteous and personable, I have never met one on an "off" day (i.e. always with their best face forward). Dr Gustafson is a wonderful person - always patient when I pepper her with questions and welcomes them. Like buying a used car, they sell stuff to you that is truly not needed, for instance my son's grandfather took him in for a small cavity and they convinced him that my son needed nitrous and charged an extra 70.00, this was not his first cavity and he had never needed it before. I my self went in for a cleaning, and during the cleaning my tooth was chipped, and instead of them fixing the issue they tried to cover it up and try to charge me for there mistake, I did not have the work done because I feel it should of been done for no charge being there mistake. After years of bouncing around between other dentists looking for a good one we could trust, it was so nice to find one that is up on all the latest technology, continually pursues the latest certifications and qualifications, and provides such a great patient friendly atmosphere. We've so far experienced: root canals, cavities, adult as well as teenage orthodontia, plus all the normal cleanings, sealings, etc. Having experienced a nasty auto accident as a child, my teeth are a bit challenging to work on, and in the past I've had such bad experiences with other dentists that I'd learned to distrust "normal" dentists and go to specialists for anything beyond normal cavity treatment. I had a crown break Thursday night and they graciously worked me in on Friday, April 2nd. I wasn't in pain, but they wanted to make sure I was ok and that I wouldn't encounter issues over the weekend. Although the work was done by another dentist several years earlier, they never spoke badly about the other dentist and just explained that sometimes crowns can become damaged if the fit is a little off. They are prompt, respectful of your time, extremely professionally, and very friendly. Everyone on staff is great. Christine is the first point of contact, and she greets everyone immediately and with a smile. The spacious waiting room is comfortable and includes a dedicated children's play area. Each treatment area has a television and comfy chairs. And I love that they offer you warm blankets if you're chilly. I was a regular patient when they first opened, but stopped going for regular visits about a year ago due to a job change and time constraints. I am pleased to see that the practice has continued to grow and I look forward to having Gustafson Dental manage my dental care from now on. read more

My family used Dr. Gustafason because she was close. It just went from bad to worse over 2 years. If you just need dental cleanings, then it might work. But the orthodontics (for multiple family members) was terrible. The dental work was terrible. The billing was terrible. Nice people on the surface, but just seems like everyone is rushed and disorganized. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. read more

If you need your teeth cleaned, Dr G. will suffice. But do NOT get orthodontics here. My family and I were patients for two years. After only needing to have a couple of teeth straightened (no other problems!), she recommended Invisalign. My bite is now messed up SO bad, my teeth do not even touch. I told her about the pain and misalignment during treatment and she said it was fine and would remedy itself. I am now in physical therapy to fix my jaw pain, will need braces to correct my bite, and possibly jaw surgery. My orthodontist said it will take years to fix it. I will spend quadruple the cost of Invisalign to fix what she messed up. And I've had excruciating pain for two years already. Unfortunately, my son's braces have a similar story, but we are intervening hopefully before it's too late. I never post reviews. But I don't want others to go through what we've been through. Dentists are not the same as orthodontists, especially this one. read more
