I would never go back to this place. very unprofessional. students on site that end up helping you. Dentail office charged me 2 missed office visits after talking me into booking them. The wild part is they are holding the equipment I paid for. I missed due to my father passing and told them over the phone after I missed the first appointment and told them I would be out of town and they still charged. will never step foot on their site and sending a complaint to my insurance for being fully charged and never having the equipment delivered. stay away from this place and find another dentist office. read more

I have been looking for a dentist close to my house and I found one! Inside is so nice and updated. It's all ladies that work there and all of the ones that I met were so nice! I recently called Summercreek Dental to reschedule my appointment after testing positive for COVID-19. When I explained my situation, the front desk informed me I would be charged a $50 rescheduling fee. I requested to speak with a manager to discuss waiving the fee due to my illness, but was told managers do not speak to patients. After insisting, I was put on hold, only for the same receptionist to return and say the fee would be waived this time, but that I still owed a fee from a previous rescheduling. (which was conveniently never mentioned before) Additionally, I was told that a previous overcharge of $79 from 2022 would be used to cover this fee, even though I was never given the option for a refund--only a credit. When I asked how to get the remainder of my money back, I was told it could be returned to my card, which contradicted what I was told earlier. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, and the policy that managers do not speak with patients is unacceptable. My family of seven will no longer be coming here after this experience. read more

Not recommended Both Dentists are not recommended since they are not good communicators If you want dentists and hygienists to ruin your teeth then this is the place to ruin your smile and be told to go to a cosmetic dentist in the woodlands to fix the shortened, thinned, curved, sharpened and now 3 fillings on front 2 teeth when only needed one front tooth chip fixed and in 3 visits January 2024 my front 6 teeth are not the same and very fragile since thinned so much by Dr THIBEDEAUX Last summer the dental hygienist cut into my right front tooth chipping it July 2023 read more

Most people don't look forward to going to the dentist but Summer Creek is a different experience. Everyone is so friendly, the environment is welcoming, and they value your time. When my office moved across town, I decided to look for a dentist in the area of my new office. Based on all of these wonderful reviews on Yelp, I tried Dr. Thibodeaux. Everyone was perfectly kind and very courteous throughout the process. My first visit took 1.5 hours as the hygienist dug the periodontal gauge down through my gums. I patiently sat through the painful experience. At the end of the ordeal, the hygienist told me that I had early stage periodontal disease and that I would need deep cleaning and a replacement of a crown. I was shocked since no dentist I have ever had has mentioned this. The hygienist talked down to me suggesting that this could be preventable if I flossed (which by the way, I do.) I had an incredibly emotional reaction to the situation and everyone was very kind to me while I had a minor freak out. I was determined to get a second opinion. I called my old dentist and several friends that were in dental school. They told me to go to another dentist just to confirm the finding. It may be possible, but it was unlikely given my age and frequency to the dentist. I went to another dentist and they said my gums were perfectly healthy and there was no need to do any deep cleaning. I recognize that there are different schools of thought in dentistry. I prefer dentists that are more "wait and see" how things develop rather than more "conservative" dentists that are more proactive. I believe Dr. Thibodeaux is in the more proactive camp and wants to stem problems before they start; however, most of the research I've done shows no net benefit for this approach. I have nothing to say against the people there, but I will not be returning. read more

I will be the first to say that I am a total wimp when it comes to the dentist, so when I was searching for offices to visit this was top of mind when reading the reviews of others. The dental office is calm, quiet and clean. It was great to walk in an instantly feel at ease. where unlike other offices I've visited you walk into a waiting room filled with screaming children, packed waiting rooms with televisions blaring Fox news (of which adds to the anxiety), or worse, passing your doctor on the way while he finishes is cigarette out front. The music was soft and there is complimentary coffee for those who aren't sensitive to hot and cold. There was a HUGE bowl of Candy at the front entrance when I arrived, so that took a little restraint but someone must have read my mind because it was gone when I walked out. It was the week after Halloween so I totally get why the candy was there! The staff is so nice and what was really important to me was how adamant they were to ensure they were saying my name correctly. No one does that.. they usually BUTCHER my name and continue with the conversation as if it didn't matter. Well it does :) Thank you to Frankie H. for helping me get in with a days notice and Dr. Thibodeaux and staff for making my 1st visit as painless as possible.. Now.. I first visited Summer Creek Dental this past fall for a regular cleaning exam that led to the discovery of a myriad of dental issues that I had accumulated over the years. Before I left my cleaning appointment, Summer Creek Dental had already created a personalized treatment plan (thank you Agnes!) to tackle everything that I needed to have done and to do so efficiently without being overwhelming. As an adult with relatively severe dental anxiety, Dr. Thibodeaux and her team (shoutout to the amazing RDAs, Julia and Nancy) were so incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. They consistently accommodated me during my treatments and were overall reassuring and encouraging. Reclaiming my dental health has been one of my goals for a few years now and I'm so happy to go into 2023 with this accomplished thanks to Summer Creek Dental. Relocating to Houston a few years ago I needed a new dentist. Gave Dr. Thibodeaux & the Summer Creek team a try and am very thankful I did. At the time I lived close by so it was simply out of convenience, however I have since moved 30 miles away and will continue to make the drive regardless because of the quality of work, trust I have in the entire staff, and high level of customer service you receive. The office team of Franki, Jenn and Kathryn are very professional and willing to work with you to make sure the treatment not only works for you financially but also to ensure your experience from start to finish goes as smooth as possible. Julie (the Hygienist) is very experienced technically and will educate you on what I call "realistic best practices" to enhance your dental health. Would believe she had earned her DDS if I did not know otherwise. Not to mention she is hilarious and makes your time there as enjoyable as possible. Dr. Thib is the real deal. Will shoot you straight on all possible options, never pressure you to get treatments you don't "truly need" and cares enough to know you personally asking about friends, family and work you may have talked about a year ago. She has created a great team in a very clean, modern office with progressive technology and a relaxed feel. This office is super convenient for me which is a major factory in my experience of selecting and maintaining a relationship with my dentist. I was running a little tardy and I called in... I did not receive the typical "we don't have time to wait for you attitude," she completely was understanding I definitely appreciated it. I walked in and the place was absolutely stunning and quiet. I enjoy having a nice dental office. I guess you can call me the "dental/medical" office snob because if you can't maintain your office then how could you possibly maintain me right? Floors, seats, bathroom, desks and equipment were all in immaculate condition. I'm also a stickler for front office staff as well as other staff members, which were..... A+++ This was my first visit to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned while having braces and that part hurt but hey... got to get them cleaned. I loved how knowledgeable they were, how they ASKED me if I had any concerns. Then Dr Thibodeaux came in to review the work and also took the time to educate me on flossing with my braces, made some recommendations and I even ended up getting the additional fluoride. Go me! I'm getting it together! lol Even though it was an additional cost, which I normally turn down, I got it and I felt great about my decision. The first couple of times I came here, I had a good experience. They did everything to make me comfortable during the first portion of my deep cleaning and during my initial exam. However it seems after, the hospitality was gone. Additionally, they never told me that if you miss an appointment for any reason, they charge you $25. So good luck if you suddenly have to be at work really early or you have another emergency. The receptionist claims that they write the first one off. I will not be returning to this office at all. It seems that they are extremely nice in the beginning but once you're a repeat customer, they really don't care. My experience is and will not be everyone's experience therefore if you want to take your changes, then do so. read more

So first let me say I do not go to the dentist! It took being in pain for nearly a month to finally get me to make an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly staff and the office is state of the art and beautiful. I got the full work up on all of the work I needed without having an anxiety attack, and that is due solely to the wonderful staff. Dr. Thibodeaux was super friendly and gentle. I have been referred to an oral surgeon ( have to get my wisdom teeth out) and then afterword I have a few appointments to have fillings and get a mouth guard... I will update later! Dr. Thibodeaux informs you of the possible need for future treatment but prefers to "wait and see" if it becomes necessary rather than automatically scheduling a procedure that might never be needed. Her staff are all excellent. The hygienist gave me a regimen to follow for 3 months to see if I can avoid "deep cleaning" of my teeth. I appreciate this. The young lady who takes the x-rays is very gentle in so doing, and, like all the staff, as well as Dr. Thibodeaux herself, is very pleasant to deal with, I enjoyed interacting with everyone in the office. The very latest technology is used, and that means more accuracy and, for the patient, more comfort and less time needed. A nice plus is the waiting room, with a big screen showing nature scenes while soft, relaxing music plays. But most importantly, I trust the skill, judgment, and motives of the dentist, Dr. Thibodeaux, whom I got to know rather well during our conversation. Dr. Thibodeaux and her staff provided me with the best dentist experience ever. Scheduling is a breeze, they are patient when it comes to dealing with insurance companies, pleasant when attending to patients, and very accommodating when it comes to scheduling with kids. They had my 5 year old son sitting in another seat and watching Netflix while he waited for me to finish getting my fillings. Absolutely amazing! We did not have to fill out a novel of paperwork. We were seen shortly after arriving. My 13 year old was very nervous about a cavity treatment and Julie did a phenomenal job at calming her and explaining everything. We did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Tibodeaux did a wonderful job at filling my child's cavity and was even able to do the treatment the same day as the exam. My child was comfortable and said it didn't hurt her which is what she was nervous about. They walked us out and we left very pleased and didn't have to pay a fortune.
