I ordered Spicy Basil Stir-Fry (chicken); sashimi and seaweed salad via Relish app. Keep in mind that this is delivered by Relish to a floor. We have to get to that floor and retrieve our order. I have 1 paper bag containing the basil chicken and a box of white rice in the paper bag. Then separately, there is 1 clamshell for the seaweed salad and another box of the sashimi. I had to 3?carry different boxes with my 2 hands and it was difficult for me to push elevator buttons and open doors. So this wasn't a very good experience. Why didn't they put everything in 1 paper bag or maybe 2? Food-wise, great seawed salad, sashimi fresh but I didn't like the Spicy Basil Stir Fry ... don't like that dish per se, I was expecting Kao Man Gai but I wasn't paying attention to the menu when I ordered it. The layout is a bit odd especially for seating yourselves. The restaurant is a lot bigger then I expected. It took a while to get menus & order. We crab Rangoon was crabless. It was essentially fried cream cheese and was very disappointing. We got some sushi and it was weird. It had lettuce in it. But intro to try I guess. I always get Pad Kee Moe when I get Thai and it was just okay. It's fine for a local spot but wouldn't suggest driving over for this. read more

Popped in here after taking my mom for blood tests at oak park hospital. I had driven by many times but I had no idea what to expect. The ambiance is casual and classy-- and cute! My mom was a little scared at first but she ended up loving the pad see ew that I ordered for her. I ordered miso soup and satay. David and I are about to share the baked taro custard and black sesame ice cream-- the quality of everything so far has been great, so I'll just snap a few pictures and add them later-- after we finish eating. Thai curry was just what we needed on the first snowfall of the year. We decided to order delivery from White Crane via Grubhub. We ordered the Tom Yum soup with vegetables. We loved that it came with a lot of vegetables. It was also very hot when it was delivered, which was great. For curries, we got the Avocado Green Curry with tofu and the Red Curry with chicken. I put in a special request for both to be very spicy and I was pleasantly surprised by how spicy it was! The portions were big too so I'm excited to have leftovers. We also got the Spicy Tuna Maki. Boyfriend and I stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Wednesday around 4:30pm. We were the only ones dining in. The space is clean and has a very modern vibe going on, while still being warm and inviting. We started off with the crab rangoon as our appetizers. Now, I am not the biggest fan of crab rangoon but I devoured three pieces this time. It was not overly fried, but light and crisp, contrasting perfectly with the cream cheese. I also appreciate how they did not skimp on the cream cheese. For our entrees my boyfriend ordered the Pad Kee Mao with chicken. The flat and wide rice noodles were nice and chewy, soaking up all the savory flavors of the sauce and chicken. I decided to order the Pad Thai with tofu - no regrets! One thing I wonder is if they incorporate peanuts into the sauce. A standard practice in Pad Thai. I did not really taste any at all but honestly did not even miss it! Was in the area for work and wanted a quick lunch. Ordered the tofu satay, steamed veggies and salmon roll for pickup. Was ready in under ten minutes. I had chosen the option to have it brought to the car, but I waited a few minutes and then just went in and got it myself. Not a huge deal. Friendly server, upon a quick glance the ambiance inside seemed nice. The tofu satay was FIRE. So good. Wish there was a little more of the cucumber salad that it came with and marinated in the dressing a bit more because it was delicious. The salmon roll was simple and yummy. Steamed veggies were steamed veggies but happy to see variety of peppers and some mushrooms in there. Wish I was in this area more. Next time I am, will definitely come in for a dinner. read more

First impression: very unassuming on the outside but turns out to be a very solid Thai spot! I came here for lunch on a weekday with my parents. The restaurant was clean and the service was attentive and responsive. Here's what we ordered: Thai Tea- can't go wrong! Good serving size and not overly sweet. Vegetable Eggrolls: These were complimentary while we were waiting! They were very delicate and well cooked! Ribeye Salad - Delicious flavors but almost too much sauce. Yellowtail Hamachi - I got this to see if the sushi would be worth trying in the future. And it would be! It was fresh and lightly dressed. Green Curry with Beef - Really bold flavor that paired well with the white rice it came with. Pad Khee Mao - This was unanimously our favorite dish. It was very well seasoned and the shrimp in the seafood mix were generously large and cooked to have the perfect bite to them still. I would order this dish again. Spicy Basic Stir Fry - We were least impressed with this dish. There was too much runny sauce and the flavors were a little muddled. I'd probably skip this. Overall, the portions were quite generous and the flavors were mostly perfectly seasoned to being borderline heavy on seasoning - which, I personally prefer, and think compliments white rice well. I felt like the prices were quite reasonable too. Surprisingly, our appetizers were more expensive than the entrees! Glad we have a new local Thai restaurant to go to! read more

We just tried this spot a couple of weeks ago but we've already ordered like four times! The Holy Cow maki is our favorite. The sushi is so fresh and flavorful. We've also tried the spider maki and the Poseidon maki but we missed having a crunchy element. The flavors were still fresh though! The fried vegetable gyoza was delicious as was the miso soup. I really, really love the coconut fried rice. I've never tried coconut rice before and it's amazing! I highly recommend it! read more

This chic, new Thai and sushi place took over the Mom's Place space. The decor is industrial/contemporary with a super cool pink and white crane mural. The sushi and shrimp shumai were great - super fresh, lush cuts of fish. We dined in 1-week after opening and service was a bit elongated, but I would imagine as they staff up that will improve. FYI: Everything comes out tapas style (our orders came out separately and appetizer came out last) and there is no alcohol. read more

I've been wanting to come here for months and so glad I finally went! I would come back just for the Thai iced coffee, it was that good! It wasn't as strong as other places and that's why I loved it. The chicken satay I enjoyed because it wasn't dark meat and the peanut sauce was poppy. I also got the vegetable pad khee mao. Sauce was very tasty but I wish I would have ordered the chicken with it instead! I didn't care full the whole cherry tomatoes in it. I will definitely return. read more

The family and I stumbled upon this place while on our way home and boy am I glad we did. We were in need of a go to Thai place after our regular Thai restaurant closed down permanently . Kids loved the sushi maki rolls, Tum yum soup really hit the spot for me (especially after the long night I had before) pad Thai was a must win to be considered a future go to place and it did not disappoint. Kids loved the coconut and mango boba smoothies. Tofu stir fry was bursting with flavor. Of course we returned about a week later. Pad see ew can't go wrong.
