The food was good! Breakfast was definitely not too oily, making it enjoyable. My fiance ordered Liam's Country Breakfast with fried chicken. I ordered the 2 eggs and hash, with the side of avocado and side of hollandaise. Yes, I enjoyed putting together the ingredients ! The environment was nice! This area of Massachusetts doesn't have a lot of Asians like us, but we did not feel too out of place. We also noticed that the whole crew were all women, which is so empowering! The restaurant had a rustic feel with a contemporary mindset. Our server was clear and kind. The food came out in a timely manner. I reduced the review by one star, just because I feel like 5 is supposed to give a wow-factor, which I did not get here. Being new to the area, I would be down to explore new restaurants before coming back. But I would also definitely return just because it honestly does feel out of place being in this area if you are Asian. read more

You guys... something is going on here, and not good goings on. We'd been here previously, a couple times over a year ago. It was fine then. It is not now. Sat at the counter. Slow service, the place was only half full and plenty of staff. Never asked to refill coffee or tea or anything. Food was kinda terrible, bland, TINY portions. Clean nice place but we won't go back due to the simply bad breakfast. Just not good in any way. Hate to write this because we want it to be good. Breakfast with fine except for the home fries. They were tiny little cubes that were not made there. Not very tasty at all.

I am a fan of pancakes of ALL kinds, and these are some of the most delicious I've ever had. Their standout is clearly the M & M pancake, I could enjoy them at any time of the day. I love a small, independent restaurant, and WCD is a shining star. read more

Very good place! Home cooking at it's finest. 1. Went for lunch and got the Corned Beef & Cabbage meal. Ate it too fast so didn't get a picture :). Brought me back to my childhood when my mom used to make it every year on St. Patrick's Day. The Meat was delicious and was the most tender I've ever had. 2. Highly recommend the Muffin Sundae which I snarfed down. There are different flavored muffins (French Toast, Blueberry, Cranberry Orange) and you also get a choice of Chocolate or Caramel Sauce. I opted to pass on the sauce and selected the French Toast muffin. With the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, it really hit the spot. 3. Got the Chocolate Guinness cake to go which was great as well. I'm going back very soon to snag some of their seafood chowder which I hear a lot of good things about. Headed home from the Berkshires we took the long way & pulled off in Orange for food. Yelp came through again pointing us to the White Cloud Diner. Welcoming servers told us to pick any empty table. I like that. Menu was typical diner food. Translation, really good food. I got Liam's special. Biscuits and sausage gravy topped with fried chicken and a fried egg. Not the healthiest choice but oh so delicious. If I ever find myself out this way again I'll be sure to stop in. Sorry no pictures but I at it. read more

Went in on Sunday 11/28 and was told they changed their hours, and were going to be closing at noon. It was 7 minutes of, and she told me they were closed. I ordered breakfast to go, and after i made my coffeess myself, my breakfast was cold. I realized they didn't include the "hash browns" that came with my omelet so I went back in and got the has brown just to discover the "hash browns" weren't hash browns they were the frozen hash browns that McDonald's sells! My order total was $51.37, so at that price I feel as though they could at the very least serve hash browns and breakfast plates that don't look like they're coming from McDonalds. I don't recommend coming here for the $ they charge and the food they serve. read more

My wife and I were impressed with the changes the new owners made from the food to decor. Lots of fresh food now. I have been disappointed that the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, as I have been in one for the past 5 months. We were initially told today that only dine in orders were allowed today. After explaining that I cannot actually dine in due to my wheelchair issue and cited ADA rights to reasonable accommodation, the staff allowed us to place an order to go. Thank you for helping out! I hope someday soon I will actually be able to go in person but until the , I'm thankful for their willingness to help a disabled person out. read more

A few years ago I gave this little diner a less than stellar review. At that time it was a dark, uninspired place with a staff that was just going through the motions. THINGS ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT NOW! New owners and a competent staff have turned this place around. The menu, featuring homemade muffins, hash and locally sourced meats and produce, elevates this beyond the realm of local hang-out. The revamped dining area is clean, bright and tastefully decorated (with more updates and changes to come, they say!). Our server asked questions we love to hear: "Do you want your hash crispy? How would you like your bacon cooked?" My companion had two eggs, hash, toast, home fried potatoes and sausage with coffee. I indulged in French Toast - nice and cinnamon-y - with bacon and coffee. The bill was about $20...most reasonable. We saw some lunch items being served and overheard that the Reubens is a lunchtime favorite. Virtually everyone in the place left with smiles and leftovers...the portions are most generous. Open for breakfast and lunch until about 2...closed Tuesdays. read more

This is now called Sharon's White Cloud. After visiting my family in Orange, my husband and I went to the White Cloud (apparently other places are not open on Labor Day). The breakfast was average, but also cheap. We both had omelets that were ok to good. They were made with three eggs and had a decent amount of cheese and whatever else we got in them. The homefries were plain and undercooked. The service was great. They were nice and prompt. I am not sure they accept credit cards. I could be wrong, but just in case, bring cash. read more

Okay, I was initially very impressed with the staff. I've never been personally greeted by the Owner, it made me light up. Walking into the place, it was a pleasantly quant diner with adequate seating. The wait stafd was consistently checking on us to make sure we were happy and doing well. The clam chowder was so good that I had to have another bowl. But Sadly, the chowder was the only good thing I ate. I was disappointed with the food. The serving size for the onion rings was beyond insulting. I literally paid $3.00 for 4 onion rings! Frozen, then fried bagged onion rings. The French fries were, well, meh. Eggs and homefries are just greasy enought to make you feel better, coffee is decent and the servers know what they are doing. you wont wait long for your meal, you wont order a meal that exceeds 6 bucks and the coffee will keep you alert for your drive home. read more

We have flown into Orange Municipal Airport KORE twice in the last few weeks. It's a neat small airport with friendly people. On both occasions we made the short walk to the White Cloud Restaurant. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. It was pretty much what we expected for an airport restaurant except the food seems to be a little above average. I don't think I will be going back. This breakfast and lunch restaurant is one of the faves in this area and decided to go based on that. The staff was great! The owner was greeting everyone and and very friendly. The waitresses were good. I only nhave this review 2 stars because of the staff. I had to edit and disagree from 3 stars to 2 because I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The food however... First we ordered french fries and onion rings with clan chowder. The French fries were not good! They are pretty thick, not golden brown, just plain tasting. Clam chowder was good. The onion rings tasted good, but you only get **4** onion rings for $3!!!! Not large onion rings, nothing special. When we asked if that was the usual, the answer was yes, the owner goes by the serving size on the bag. We then ordered eggs, home fries, toast, french toast with a fruit bowl, and an English muffin. Everything was average, nothing better than what you could just do at home in 5 minutes. Not much is fresh here besides the eggs and bakery items. I went to a place in the center of Athol and had been to the one next to CVS in Athol which is now closed.
