Shout out to the guys working Sunday evening - they were drive thru only but it was 9PM and we had a baby with us in a carrier- they unlocked even though they were cleaning and let us in. Prices are fair and we were able to get a ton of food, including their famous sliders. I do wish the patties were a bit "crispier" but the presentation was good. We also loved the chicken onion rings, I thought those were pretty sweet. read more

I had always wanted to come to White Castle ever since they made the movie. Coming to Kentucky was the opportunity I needed. I stopped by looking forward to a great dining experience but was met with locked doors. All tue doors were locked yet drive through was still open. There was no posting to inform guests as to the reason. I needed up ordering through the drive-thru. I order their White Castle meal that came with four burgers and fries. The burgers were everything I expected. I enjoyed my meal but was disappointed that I was not able to order inside. I could not tell you what the inside looked like but they had plenty of parking. read more

White Castle - Burger - Burgers Near Me - Louisville, Kentucky

An actual WHITE CASTLE!! Having lived in Chicago during my adolescent years, this was the spot to be seen and get food!! Fast forward to 2016 I moved to TN and much to my dismay - I was only able to purchase the frozen ones-which are very good, but lacking the ambiance. So on a stop through Lexington, KY I peeped the sign and confirmed it was less than 3 blocks from our hotel! Now let's be real-I turned down wagyu steak for the square sandwich which I missed! The restaurant was bright, clean, staff friendly/helpful. The menu was expanded, the price very reasonable and the quality brought back oh-so-many-fond memories! When I say nothing tastes like a fresh off the grill WhiteCastle Burger-trust and believe-they are fantastic!! read more

White Castle isn't really a place you can rate high; most likely, you will have a greasy piece of heaven at time that your stomach craves carbs and protein (I see you, fourth drink of the night...)... but you will inevitably pay for it later. This White Castle is slow... they will always be out of something in your order (big red... bologna... 1921 sliders...), and you will absolutely encounter a sobering slice of humanity because there is always a homeless person somewhere in their parking lot. But part of life is drinking too much, eating greasy food, and remembering to have empathy for the people you forget exists. Share some food (literally - share!), and enjoy the experience of White Castle - it is one of the most authentic experiences you can still find in Louisville. read more

Is what it is but haven't had White Castle in many years so it was a nice flashback. Took longer than I remembered to get my food but it tasted like I remembered. read more

Total let down. Live in WV was in Louisville for work and sen a White Castle was so excited. Have eaten the frozen variety for years and love them. Was so excited to get the real thing. Ordered through grub hub to hotel couldn't wait. Major disappointment. Tasted and smelled like they just put onions in onion soup mix and slathered on bun and little meat. Was total let down. Will continue to enjoy the frozen variety I guess. read more

Clean employees are nice. Food was fresh and sooo good. It was quick. Everything was correct.

Different location, same model... Reviews do not change much. We were in to Louisville KY for this visit. This was a very large location close to our hotel so we had to take a walk here. I LOVE SLIDERS!!! I have always loved their sliders.... This is the home of the original slider, everything else is just an imitation. This 5 star review is not going to change anyone's feelings of White Castle but gives me a platform to say just how much I enjoy this place. This restaurant is big, bright, plenty of windows and clean! Parking is easy and easy access to and from Hempstead Turnpike. Food is fresh... I have never had one of their burgers that looks like it was sitting around for a while... The can't, the place is too busy. There were so many people coming in to pick up orders and going to the drive through window. I enjoy watching them make my order. YOu can see how fresh it is. All team members are friendly and quick to react to the customers walking in the door. Their fries and onion chips are also a crispy treat. If you're a WC fan, try this location... you will like it... If you're not, no location will work for you. I am incredibly impressed how WC has changed their menu over the years to accommodate the changing tastes of their customers. They even have a new veggie slider. Great management and foresight allows a chain restaurant to flow with the times... they have the right formula. KUDO's to the team here at White Castle read more

So I tried a White Castle fresh, for the first time ever... after buying them frozen from the grocery store. And I'll say... the frozen ones are better. I'm not sure how... but the frozen ones are more flavorful, have a fuller meat patty, and are also not dripping in oil. It was a good experience but I'll stick with the freezer section White Castle... read more

Why is it every time that I place a order online I NEVER get any ketchup or mustard packs. I order a sack of 10 cheese slider an a order of fries. I even call the restaurant and tell them to please give me some mustard and ketchup packs. They never do. Who would order burger and fries and not want mustard and ketchup packs?? read more

Was happy to see White Castle next to where we are working. Came in for early dinner. I got the Sack of shrimp (highly recommend it!!) wife got jalapeño panko fish sliders. All food was made fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. What a heat experience here in Louisville!! We will be back next t convention. Spacious parking lot with plenty of dining space inside. read more

I would recommend if you can actually stand the dirtiness and dinginess of the restaurant and how dirty the floors and chairs are. This looks like years of neglect. I cannot see how they have a "A" and the dining room is open. This White Castle has some worse for wear and desperately needs a good remodel. Overall, customer service was good though. (Which is why I gave two stars instead of one). I did hear a worker yelling because the customer didn't come to the counter get their food fast enough. Food was mediocre. Trust me, I'm a big WC fan but this fell deeply short. My sandwiches were cold. The onion rings were just okay. Big bummer. read more

I love White Castle. A total guilty pleasure. When I saw one behind my hotel it was a matter of when not if I was visiting. We arrived slightly before 8 PM on a Saturday. There were some teenagers in front of us ordering a considerable amount. It took between 10-15 minutes to get our food. Yes, the food was delicious but the service was mid and while there was someone actively cleaning it just felt dirty there. I love White Castle but this one needs a little TLC. read more

My first time at any white castle. I was in the area for a business trip and decided to try this place as its not available where i'm from. Typical fast food joint, service was typical, lady at the counter was nice. Food was atrocious. I dont know how people like this...I got a 2-slider combo. The sliders were tasteless and had a bad texture. Fries were ok, pretty standard. Drink was from the fountain. The restaurant was dirty, with spilled drinks all over the counter. Floors were filthy. It does not help that the location is not great, and there are lots of homeless people coming into the store asking for money. Avoid this place. read more

Food was great, hot and fresh. They have a serious issue with the homeless community here. I was asked twice INSIDE the restaurant for money. There is currently a woman in the corner talking to herself and occasionally yelling. read more

Get it together y'all. If you don't want to take online orders, or you don't have a certain menu item, or you just don't wanna cook, then don't take my order online and make me show up just to have someone hang out the window two times in a row to tell me "we don't have that." Support you staff, corporate, don't make them do your dirty work. read more

White Castle Bardstown Rd Fern Creek KY. Pulled in at 10:40 Pm last night.. Lined around building drive through. Went inside 4 customers waiting for their order. A gentlemen told me he had been there for 42 minutes waiting, he asked about his order and finally got it. He left and had to return because they forgot his cheese fries. The store was filthy , missing floor tile at the front door, only three employees present and two of those were not what used to be WC quality employees. What has happened to the quality control at WC. There used to be numerous employees in clean crisp uniforms, and a manager who helped when needed. Walked out so disapointed , had numerous people who were excited for their first WC. Someone needs to clean up this location and hire more staff. Truly read more

We don't have White Castle back home so I have to remind myself every 6+ years what they taste like. In a pinch, with a big appetite, these do the job. They are cheap (relatively), greasy and salty. I would expect faster service here though and that's not a correct expectation. read more

What can I say... it's White Castle. Hadn't been here in probably 20 years as it's not really a thing in Los Angeles. I got a little of everything... a chicken and waffle slider, cheeseburger , and a chicken sandwich combo with onion rings and a medium drink. The chicken and waffle slider was my favorite. The chicken was a little dry but the moisture in the waffle balanced it out. The onion rings were delicious. Everything was good and what you'd come to expect from the legendary chain. Did not go into the location as someone else picked up the order, so I will not comment on it. Based on food alone, for the price it's fun. read more

There is only White Castle in Vegas, closest state to California. But gonna try it out simply because of that funny movie. My advice is Don't go to White Castle in Vegas. Their lines are always ridiculous long. Visited Kentucky recently and there are plenty of White Castles around, so here we are: . The mini burgers are snack size. But they are more flavorful than McDonald's, don't expect their patties have as much meat though, McDonald's discount menu is already lacking meat. . Their menu is a bit more fun. I tried the ghost pepper, it is almost not spicy at all lol, but I tried. In general if you really want to enjoy a serious burger they are obviously the wrong choice, but you are in something of very different experiences they are worth a try. Personally I don't prefer any burger places, but if I am really hungry and must go to a burger place they are not the one, however if I want a change of menu then they are better than McDonald's or Wendy's or other non serious burger places (obviously I am saying the above aren't the serious ones). read more

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. First off coming in there is a spill on the ground that still has not been cleaned up, all they did was put a wet floor sign over it. Then I had to use the restroom and asked for the code, then I would come out and order. The girl was rude and said "it's at the bottom of the receipt." I had to wait for the rest of my family members to come in to order our food. The ordering process took a while so I was able to look around more while waiting for the bathroom. I finally for the receipt and went to the bathroom which was disgusting! The worst park is the bathroom was equally disgusting as the dining area!!!! The health inspector gave it an A and I have no idea how. This place is gross. The floors, chairs, walls, everything in there was gross covered in grime. I don't even want to think about what the kitchen looks like. My family still wanted to give it a chance so we got the food. The burgers were nasty. The chicken rings and fries were the only good things here. The employees were all rude, when we asked for no onion on 2 burgers for my son the lady in the back cooking rolled her eyes and scoffed! As if making the food was that hard. This is my first and LAST time coming to White Castle. Never again. This location needs shut down with how disgusting the facility is, along with their rude staff. A health inspector needs to come back and shut it down. I'm attaching pictures of the bathroom which look the same as the dining room. Filthy. read more

We ate at this white castle many times, A+. Each time we chose to use the Drive-Thru. A pleasant voice would take my order wanted some fast food, maybe burger, chicken fries, and shrimp. The fried shrimp was heavenly. The gentlemen and ladies' workers create the juiciest American fast food. I normally get heartburn but not here. The best part was the after taste. The worst part is I live 721 miles to the nearest white castle. read more

Aaaaahhhhh!! This visit brought back so many childhood memories because I use to eat White Castle all the time growing up in Gary, Indiana! Having lived in AZ since 2006 I've been deprived of this wonderful yet unforgettable oniony flavor! I visited this location once while I was in Kentucky and I did not experience any problems. The staff looked like they been working all day and couldn't wait to get off shift, but they put as much effort into making my food as they did every other order. The drive thru seems to be 80% of their business. The staff was friendly and they even offered a complimentary fry because of how long it was taking. I would go here again based on this experience. read more

I just had to. The lore. The Harold & Kumar munchies movies... packing 140 calories per bland, disgusting slider, you REALLY have to be stoned, or have no love of your intestines, to eat this stuff. The buns, soft are the saving grace. Adding the mustard helps, a bit, but the grey burger meat and the smell... omg. They commit similar culinary crimes against humanity with fish, and a chicken donut? I know. Hamburger heart of darkness. The place is filthy, but the people behind the counter are very pleasant. Think of it as a Waffle House, with burgers for lobotomy patients. Helps not to be able to have your taste sensors connected. read more

First time at a White Castle EVER, so had to stop in since they don't have any in Buffalo. Ordered one of the original sliders with cheese and a Chicken and Waffles sandwich because it seemed funny. The cheeseburger was not as good as other fast food chains, the burger was very thin and overall the taste was only so-so. The chicken and waffles sandwich was good. The waffles were buttery, and the chicken was crispy. Came with white gravy and bacon pieces, so small didn't know they were bacon at all. Wanted to eat in the restaurant but there was a creepy man very uncomfortably staring at us (3 girls). So creepy, that another customer came up to us and informed us that he was staring and advised we stay away. He also informed the staff but they did nothing, so we took our order to-go. If I came to this location again, will use the drive thru. read more

I'm one of those people who loves White Castle. I hear so many people say that they can't eat it, or that it's "drunk food," but I'm here to tell you that I will gladly eat White Castle for dinner and be completely satisfied.
