If I could give no stars I would. My uncle walked in yesterday morning for an order. Not only did they FORGET our onions ring and he needed to walk back in for it. I ordered the double sliders with cheese and noticed that the onions on the burgers and instead looking translucent looked orange or a different color than normal and the burgers didn't taste the same. They have a new chicken fajita slider that uses a different type of onion grilled and then I'm wondering if they put those onions on my double cheeseburgers. I'm still holding for stars some things haven't changed some things have. Coming in and out of covid they definitely struggle there's no doubt about it they had a lot of trouble keeping the dining room open apparently they still do like other places but they've getting a whole lot better especially during the daytime having it open. One thing hasn't changed though you must be patient folks because the drive-thru you will sit a while when it fills up and it does take a while they are still slow Today I had a coupon that expired on the 20th of February buy one fish slider or chicken and get one free so I opted for two fish sliders added a small fry with a cup of cheese on my diet ginger ale ate here dining room was nice and clean employees were great couldn't complain at all. However the caveat to this whole thing is the fact that even though it's slow it's fresh and it's tasty that has not changed at this location Every time I've gone and it ordered what I've wanted they just tasted perfectly yummers to me and I don't have any complaints at all and I still don't. the only reason I'm holding back at five stars is because sometimes there are times when I want to eat here in the dining room is locked up and I got to dine in the car or take it home. Other than that this is a very good White Castle but just no going in that you will be waiting a little while but I'm happy to make this my 500th review definitely above average still. They never follow advertised hours. I waited 10 mins at drive thru kiosk at 11 pm. They are supposed to be open to 1am but closed at 10 pm. All the lights are on inside, outside, signs and even kiosk. I finally drove around to the pay window and they have a small sign ( hours 7am - 10pm) If they want to close at least turn off the huge sign and the order kiosk. The only reason I waited so long is that they are generally VERY slow at this location. White Castle should find new owners for this location. read more

The workers here are absolutely AWFUL. Not only do they close 5 hours before they're supposed to (online says close at 4am but they're always closed before 11pm-12am) but they don't even pay attention nor care to do their job. Yesterday they refused to make burgers and said they could "only make fried products" in which i proceeded to ask for mozzarella sticks... they responded with "no not tonight." is that not a fried product or did they just not expect me to still want something and told me no anyway? Got some extra waffles they didn't give me any syrup went back around to the drive and ask for syrup when I came up to the window the girl gave me Cocktail sauce so had to back around n told her I wanted syrup she said that's all they have Closest to a syrup. Where to start. This place is in the direction the neighboring Wendy's Is heading. We had to wait 10 minutes to pick up an order that should've been done a long time ago all because "the fries weren't made yet" They put nothing on our burgers and it was stone cold. Service is beyond slow, Only one person is working up front, and he didn't know how to count change!, I work at a local supermarket deli and I can get three customers done in that same timeframe and that's a lot more work than flipping burgers. Long standing location just East of Bell Road on 143rd Street that I've frequented more times than my Yelp check-ins show (probably been coming here for over 20 years on and off). It's one of the newer remodeled locations and has a great parking lot/drive thru flow, which is nice. Very clean and well-maintained unlike some other locations can be. Food arrived fresh, hot and delicious (as always) but drive thru was RIDICULOUSLY slow due to being severely understaffed. $11 an hour to start should be one heck of a recruiting tool read more

I split the difference on my star rating. It turns out that I have to completely different reviews of White Castle. One when I'm drunk and another the next morning. I made sure to write this review sober so I could be diplomatic to both my schools of thought. And as a note, Regardless of my condition the burgers and most importantly the onion rings taste amazing always. Lets get on with this: The Good: I love this place. They are always open and after a few beers nothing is better than White Castles. Their "what you crave" slogan didn't come from no where. There's been more than 1 occasion that I have forced my DD to stop here. Let's be honest with each other, there's been more than10 occasions where that has happened. And every time it was the absolute best decision in the world. Ever. At that time. The Burgers are good, the cheeseburgers are better, the jalapeno cheeseburgers are wicked good and they even have bacon cheeseburgers so I mean really how do you not. While the burgers are good the real star is the onion rings. These are what onion rings should be. When shallots are all like "when I grow up I want to be..." they should always aspire to be White Castle onion rings. (I do know that shallots are not baby onions) The other thing that makes this place great is the crew. 9 out of 10 times the person in the window will have fun with you and even pretend that you are as funny as you think you are. Which is really quite considerate because when I get drunk I get super awesome funny. The Bad: It is really unfortunate that White Castles gets the short end of the stick and is regularly associated with hangovers. In fact I have thought about vomiting just seeing the bag in the morning. Not awesome. The only real downside is that White Castles has managed to procure a very limited shelf life in the human intestines. They have the nick name sliders for a reason, and its sad. I hate to bring it up but would be remiss if I didn't mention it.. They tear through you like a redneck through a 30 pack of natty ice. But in the end I love them and while I don't know that I ever have or will go here when the sun is out, I can assure you that I will be back here soon. read more
