#31/2024 My local Wendy's has definitely improved themselves over the last year and a half Seems like Management's caring a little more and getting better workers it actually know what they're doing Last few times I've come in the quality has been really good. But I wanted to come a couple of times before I threw up a review Got a couple of double cheeseburgers done just right the way I wanted them one would just light ketchup and mustard the other one with no onions. A chicken sandwich with only lettuce. Three fresh fries. Everything is requested came out just perfect Everything also tasted very fresh which was a nice thing because that was one of the things they were struggling with here was quality. Picked up a cheeseburger frosty and coke. Drive thru. Reached the window was greeted with $9.10. That's all! Ok so I looked for a dime. Handed him $20 and said I didn't behave the dime. In the mean time someone else hands me the coke and frosty. Other person hands me $8 and yells where's the single bin the mean time talking to someone else on the head set. Now I know vim do some change. I get my burger from 2nd employee. One handling money is still on headset. I pull away thinking I'll go back to speaker and say you still owe me ninety cents. Lazy staff and apparently a terrible owner. Super tired of ordering, paying, and being told to pull forward and wait for it when no one is behind me. Why? Because the staff apparently get graded on how fast cars move forward. So then it takes longer for me to get my food and if the order is wrong (and it usually is) I have to circle back around. I was pleasant, didn't complain and thanked the young guy at the window bc it's not his fault they're busy it's a Saturday during dinner rush. When I picked up my nuggets earlier today there was a hair on them and they were overcooked. Also there was an ant infestation in the back corner. The service at this location is extremely poor. Inaccurate orders are a norm as they have made many mistakes on my orders on numerous occasions . As a former restaurant manager for many years this comes down to training and accountability!The most recent Uber order was as usual missing items .When I called the customer service worker named Angie was unapologetic and obviously had no training in dealing with an upset customer. Her rudeness and attitude over the phone is a reflection of her training and lack of accountability. As a fan of Wendy's for many years I will add that this is not the norm at numerous of other locations who take pride in the Wendy's history of superb customer service!The Homer Glen location is an unusual situation not reflection of the norm! This is Wendy's is less then okay... It put me in a bad mood I came up all excited then the lady goes what you want, like be more respectful. She was getting my fries but then holds the top of the fry box with her hands so she touches some of my fries, and she didn't have gloves on... I was purely disgusted and they don't seem very clean with how they do things. There is no rush and the girl just throws the chicken nugget tray. This Wendy's just reopened after a total remodel. The dining room is absolutely beautiful and the exterior was brought up to date. In the dining room 2 new soda machines were installed. They are the type where you can virtually pour any variety of Coke product. There is a fireplace and comfy seating and TV. However some things did not change. Today I went thru the drive-thru and ordered 2 combo meals and a kids meal. On one of the meals we wanted Diet Dr. Pepper which we had in the dining room just the day before. I was told "we do not have Diet Dr. Pepper". I told them that I just had it there yesterday. She said it is only available in the dining room! What? Apparently they did not upgrade the behind the counter soda dispenser. How hard would it have been for them to pour one from one of the 2 dining room soda machines? Poor customer service. Additionally when I was there yesterday the spicy nuggets were warm but not hot and a bit dry. The baked potato was over held. Today we tried the BBQ pork sandwich and it was OK but the amount of meat was quite small. When you go and have a BBQ sandwich at a real BBQ place the meat is piled on high. We had fries today due to the bad baked potato we had yesterday and they were so salty they were virtually inedible. The pretzel burger my son had was OK but he also felt the fries were extremely salty. The product quality and customer service at this location have always been in question. I had hoped that the remodel would also bring a better quality product and better customer service but it did not happen. Its a shame that so much money was wasted on the remodel because I do not believe people will settle for poor quality food and bad service despite the new look! I won't anyway. read more

This location sucks! This is the second time I ordered from this location and the burgers and fries were horrible. The burgers both times were spoiled. The meat on there burgers smelled and tastes like rotten eggs! I took 2 bites of my burger and threw the rest out I nearly threw up the smell was so bad and the taste was horrific. Apon entering the drive through at 11:40pm we were told the staff was in the procedure of "closing" I asked if we may part take in ordering some of your food but to no avail.
