One may ask what am I doing in the Bronx at 4 something in the am? Red eye car ride out of NY! This location is off 95 because let me tell you if it was deeper in the Bx that's a no go. I've always had a bad experience at most White Castles, but this time the experience was good and the little burgers hit the spot! There's something about this location. Other White Castle spots are usually located in dangerous neighborhoods. This spot makes the burgers perfect. Not soggy, like they are at other places. I've been getting sliders, shakes, and everything great from this location for years. I live within walking distance but having to trek back & forth in the wee hours of the night is not my thing. (Luckily, this location has Uber Eats: there is a God!) The great thing about this location is there's ample seating--even some seating outside, weather permitting--so you can dine-in...and probably order a milkshake for the road. They have a drive-thru, too, which my parents zoom through here-and-there. But let's be real, White Castle is the $hit and having this location so close is a blessing. Oh! And I definitely suggest using Uber Eats to order here because this location offers some crazy monthly deals & discounts. Tmobile has promotions from time to time with 8 free sliders. I've visited several white castles in the Bronx and this location is the most organized by far. They prepare the promos in a timely fashion and organize the customers to keep the service flowing flawlessly. Much appreciated. Other venues were a madhouse. Isabel, my wife, Indulged me with a weekend trip to NYC for my birthday. Upon arrival we dropped-off our luggage and took off for a day of rediscovering The Bronx, where we had each spend part of our youth. I was amazed to realize how small NYC and The Bronx really are. We spent all day walking around and visiting our schools, parks, blocks, etc. around mile 10 we decided that we wanted White Castle. The white castle that my father used to take me to was only another 1.5 miles away so off we went. By the time we got there I was starving, partially dehydrated, tired AF, and smelled really badly from walking around in the 85 degree sun for 11 miles, but they happily gave each of us four sliders (mine with cheese) and large tubs for our drinks. I normally do not drink soda but I had TWO of those large tubs of Coke. Those little burgers were SO DAMN GOOD that if we didn't have another couple of miles to go I would have had another four and just taken a nap right there. What a wonderful day! read more

This is definitely the cleanest, nicest looking white castle that I've ever been to. It's a pleasure to coming here for me, and the food is always good and spot on. I've ordered the gamut here - but never a massive quantity and it's always been good. I have to knock a star off because they have issues with getting food out in a timely fahsion. One time during the summer, not during a busy time, it took them over 15 minutes to make one veggie burger slider. I say over 15 minutes because I left after waiting 15 minutes when they told me to pull into the crave parking spots. Update: I've been going to this White Castle my whole life and my last review I mostly had an issue with the people who worked night. 10 months later I just wanna say this place has not let me down since. I get hungry in the middle of the night and they are always open 24 hours and they are very quick with getting their line down especially with the coronavirus going around. i am heading to white plains , got gas and a bit hungry so white castle drive thru to my emotional rescue. its been a while since my last visit to white castle in soundview off the bruckner expressway and its only drive thru as inside is closed until the world gets back to normal. i allow myself fast food twice a week and i just went over my quota and i dont care . no need to look at the menu board as i know by memory (number 2) 2 double cheese burger sliders , onion rings and medium diet coke. i was itching to order 6 piece chicken rings but i prefer to keep the total calorie intake to 10,000 calories and sodium less then 20,000 mlgrams(only kidding i hope). this is a really busy drive thru most of the times but not now and the folks are quick as window one is pay and window 2 is pick up. i have been strictly card as cash can be dirty and i spray and wipe my card with alcohol so everyone feels safe and happy. my tummy will punish me later but for now its all good in the bronx hood. read more

I eat White Castle on average about three times a week so when it closed for renovations, I was devastated. I was first in line for the grand opening lol. Boy was I pleased with the new fresher looking White Castle. When I walked in I was greeted with a "hello, welcome to White Castle" I couldn't do anything but smile, I had never been greeted like that at any fast food restaurant. Very inconvenient location it's right next to highway and if your walking there from Morrison or lower you have to go under a short dark tunnel at night (its a 24 hour place) many times the only place to get food at @ 2am and it's just very unsafe. read more

Besides the food being so fresh and delicious, the professionalism, decor, and music really made this day memorable. There isn't much to expect from a fast food joint. However, this White Castle sinks to a new all time low. We chose to use the drive thru because the actual restaurant was packed. The line was six car deep not including our car, we were number seven. It was still early evening, but the milk shake machines were down and there weren't any milk shakes available. Then we waited at the window for twenty minutes for our food. After 10 minutes of waiting, the manager came out to apologize to us and told us that our order had been given to someone else by mistake and that they were making us new meals. Once the meal was ready, the manager offered us milk shakes from the same machine that was supposedly shut down. We refused the shake and took chocolate dipped cheese cake instead. While checking our order we realized that we were given the wrong order and we were given a family meal instead. We took the meal and refuse to wait any longer for our correct order. Some late nights White Castle might be your only food choice. If it is? Skip this White Castle and just go to sleep. This place is horrible. read more
