I dined in there for a few but I didn't like how messy it was. The seating area didn't remind of the Freshpond Road location but this one has spills and holes in some of the seats. I also didn't like the fact that the fries weren't fried enough and didn't have any salt. I did like that they put light cheese like I asked and they make my wrap bulky! Lots of chicken which is great because in certain locations it's all messy and comes apart because of the lack of chicken or just not caring about presentation. read more

Would love to give NO STARS. Pulled up To the drive through at 6pm and was told that no cars were allowed. Came inside and waited for 40 mins to be serviced . For cars to then be at the drive though. A supervisor or manager spoke through the loud speaker and the staff indicated everything was okay, it wasn't. The store was freezing , wait times more than 30 mins with 1 register open. read more

Owner of this establishment outta be ashamed!! How can you allow some of the things that go on in here?! First of all you walk in this place and it's a complete mess. Nobody cares about cleaning the place. I get that the customers are to blame for trashing the place, but still all these years and still it's the same thing. You have like 10 workers behind the counter and none are appointed to clean up the floor to where it's decent. Make no mistake Wendy's gets flooded with customers just like McDonald's but they seem to have a formula that works... Wendy's have fallen way behind in that department especially this location. If you want to wait 40+ minutes for your food, this is the place. The drive thru is just as bad. You sit 20 minutes before getting to the speaker. At the speaker you sit for almost another 10 minutes before anyone takes your order. Then an additional 20 minutes before you actually get your food. Just so that your order is wrong. I placed a mobile order for drive through pick up today at 2:30pm. I drove to the restaurant ( from across the bronx) to find that the drive through was packed. I got out of my car to go inside to retrieve my order only to find that my order wasn't even close to ready. This restaurant has a habit of making in person and mobile order customers wait while they complete delivery orders. That is unacceptable. I waited an hour to receive my food. When I voiced my discontent to the Manager he basically told me I would have to wait and they are crowded so there is nothing he can do. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years ( retail and fast food) and I know that this is not the way to treat a customer. I have already filed a complaint and I will be following up with the corporate office. Do Better!!!!! read more

Service and sanitation are terrible. They are out of coffee and ketchup at 5 PM. Employee opened the bathroom door for me still having service gloves on. He went through the whole pile of keys to find the right one. WENDY'S. Every time I order from Wendys thru "Doordash," it's botched up, constantly. Wendy's on, Westchester Ave and Unionport road, either sends it short of an item or it's wrong. seems like they hire young kids with no or poor supervision. DOORDASH: hires delivery boys or men who don't speak english, therefore, there is no communication, they botch up the delivery by bring the wrong order to the wrong address, and when u call them, (you have a better chance on calling the city Mayor) you will have to wait 2 to 3 business days for your refund when they already took the money, that quick out of your account, and then they post it, already delivered. Then when you call the dasher, they don't answer. You call "Wendy's" they too don't answer. HIGHWAY ROBBERY. And remember, you tipped them. YOUR BEST BET: DON'T CALL "DOORDASH," go to Wendys yourself and make sure u check the orders before you leave. read more

Wendy's Restaurants is another one of my favorite Fast Food joints I love to go to. Best thing about Wendy's is that the food doesn't taste like fast food! Wendy's menu from their burgers to the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (my personal favorite), to the Chili and the freshly cut fries - all the food is extremely tasty! Now the Wendy's on Westchester & Unionport Rd. is clean and serve up some great food. But having only two registers the lines can get a little long but the staff is polite and they really do try to please their customers. Based on my experience - ALL Wendy's have great food and service - but this one does go a little bit more above and beyond the call of duty to provide great service and food! read more

We proceeded to order and she rudely told us no biscuits no frostychino and no lemonade but what topped it for us was the statement "I said what I said" when we were trying to understand what she had available what she didn't. employees being rude and impatient to the customers is unacceptable. He takes a deep breath, ignores the question and then ask me what I want to order? I told him the order then asked him again. He then proceeds to get irritated and throw out about 20 cups. To put it simply these fools get orders wrong all the time. You might as well order incorrectly. You will have a better chance of getting the order you wanted. They don't heat up their food really well. Food is cold 5 minutes after it being served and the people there are extremely unprofessional. Yes I like the occasional burger from Wendy's... Yes the frosties are yummy.. BUT the service here is some of the worst I ever got. The stupid teenagers behind the counter are horrible. They take their damn time to make your order. The cashier is by far the worst. She always gives attitude and looks like she's forced to be there (it's your job!). I love the Wendy's Chain but this location.... this location is literally the worst in my whole area and it happens to the closest to my house. 4 times I have gone to this drive thru and all 4 times there has been an issue. My fiance and I always get the 4 for $4. Literally all the time. 1st time they forgot to give me sauces for my nuggets. Not a huge deal breaker so we didn't complain. 2nd time they forgot one of our fries. We were in a rush because our infant daughter was screaming so we just said forget it. 3rd time with another couple they forgot one of our drinks. 4th AND LAST TIME we bought the 4 for $4 and realize we were given sauces and our drinks WITH NO NUGGETS. I shouldn't have to sit in a drive thru and go through my entire bag and pull out each and every item to make sure your employees are doing their job. I will be sending this same message to corporate because this is ridiculous. And the employees are ALWAYS rude. I have not had not 1 good experience there. read more

Eh to the max. I always had fond memories of this Wendy's as a young lass. Dare I say it was my favorite over the now defunct McDonald's around the corner. However, this was back when you got 5 chicken nuggets for $1 or when the Caesar side salad had bacon bits in them and also cost a $1. Alas, this is why they say you cannot go home again. I have been to this location numerous times within the past year but that is more out of convenience than preference. The food is all right. Typical Wendy's except their fries leave something to be desired. The food is not the problem. It's the customer service. First, they don't have enough cashiers! There are always ALWAYS ridiculous lines because there are only 2 of them. This is a very high traffic area. I feel bad for them...to a point. Usually, mostly the women, display little to no warmth. They usually have terrible attitudes. Like the woman I had today. She was polite enough but I felt that I was an inconvenience. She also forgot my chicken nugget sauce from my 4 for $4 meal. No bueno. My advice? Try to get José. He is so nice and personable. He's also patient. Today was the worst I have ever seen it. They ceilings have 2 major leaks where the line forms and the insides of it are all corroded.
