Fried pickles
D J.

They were open for business today and we were socially distanced. Hand sanitizer available on check in and check out. Waitresses were excellent and wore masks. The governor of MS implements statewide masks tomorrow so not sure how that will affect dining in as we did today. We started with unsweetened iced tea. Appetizers were fried dill pickle chips and fried green tomatoes. Both were excellent. Then we had the seafood platter and shared it between the two of us. It includes 1 stuffed crab, 3 large filets of fried catfish, handful of tasty small shrimp, few oysters, and 2 hush puppies (with 2 sides). We added sides of fried okra and coleslaw.(coleslaw very fresh and just a hint of sweet- just right). Then we shared a slice of warm pecan pie. Service was excellent with constant refills of tea and attention to our needs. I was raised in MS but have been gone for 30 years. The Southern hospitality, "second amendment" discount and country feel is excellent. This is a must stop for authentic Mississippi family style cuisine

It was a very nice treat. I stopped in for a quick lunch and saw the sign for fried green tomatoes. They were amazing. I tried a little bit of everything they had on the menu. I honestly have to say I am very very funny about my food. Everything was completely seasoned to perfection. I will be going back soon and reviewing everything in depth. The service and prices were great. I would recommend.

Stumbled on this place by accident. Good food, good prices, good service. I'll certainly go back if I'm in the area again.

This is the best place in Wiggins to eat. We have lived here ten years and have never had bad food from there.

The coffee was fresh and hot and tasty. No complaints. I had breakfast but if the lunch is half as good then you won't be disappointed. Prices were reasonable for what I got. Be aware, it is a small place and it's good so they are busy. It was crowded but the tables were turning quickly and I didn't have to wait long. The ladies working were all very friendly and were trying hard to accommodate everyone. They don't have any 2-top tables or a counter so I ended up sharing a larger table with some folks who sat at the other end. Not a problem for me, but some people don't like that. It's tucked into a small shopping strip in plain view of the road but still you might miss it driving by. Parking was easy even though they were busy. I am looking forward to going back to try some different menu items. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was full, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Coffee and water was quickly delivered and our order was taken. My youngest ordered strawberry pancake's and scrambled eggs, my oldest son ordered 3 egss with sausage, bacon and hash browns. I ordered a cheese omelette with sausage and bacon, grits and toast. My daughter ordered eggs and hash browns with toast. We all very much enjoyed. Will definitely return this trip. Service was excellent. Price was affordable and well worth the visit. All agree this was a great breakfast!

Been meaning to stop in for a while now and we finally did. The MC is so cute. We loved it…read more The staff are all very friendly and efficient. We ordered lattes and some food for dining in. It was a colder day and so the seating options were limited but I bet this place is fantastic in the warmer temps because they have a lot of nice outside seating available. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was excellent. I also got a rosemary honey latte with oat milk and I highly recommend it! The prices are very fair and portions are excellent. If you're concerned about parking, there are spots available in the lot next to the building and they also have plenty of nearby street parking. (The menu did offer alcoholic beverages but I didn't try them.)

I found that out as I was exiting the train via their website. I was pretty disappointed, since there were literally no breakfast places around and the train drops you off at like 9am. I even asked the customer service person at the exit of the train, and nothing. Bay Saint louis would make bank with a 7 day a week breakfast place. Anyway, we came here regardless of no food to get some wake up juice. There were so many flavors and different combinations to try, let along the alcohol coffees. So, I decided on the Belfast Brew. It had Jameson in it and Irish cream. It was sooooo pretty when it arrived! Like a dessert! We sat in the couches and just chatted, very relaxing and no rush to be anywhere. There were a few people here so I can imagine it probably much busier later in the week. I have thought about this coffee many times since I had it and I wish something like this existed in New Orleans. It really was one of the best 'Irish coffees' I have ever had!
