My dog is a senior and won't let anyone touch him. Cindy has the magic touch! She's so sweet and gentle with him that he will sit for her. She also blocks out more time for him so she can give him the attention and time. Amazing, everyone is nice and my dog leaves happy! read more

We had the most amazing experience at Whiskers! Cindy was so incredibly sweet, friendly, and super gentle with my dog, who's a really anxious little guy. She really took the time to take care of him and then afterwards explained how everything went. She even gave me a toothbrush to take home and pointed out where he has build up on his teeth (which is actually exactly what our vet had told us just a few weeks ago) so I know she really paid attention to him and knows what she's doing. My dog walked out with the best grooming he's ever had. I can't recommend Whiskers enough and won't be going anywhere else ever again. Make sure to book your appointments in advance! read more

BEST GROOMERS IN THE VALLEY!!!! Everyone that works there absolutely loves every animal that comes in. As someone who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, they are always helpful. They gave us so many special items over the years and are angels on earth! Thank you so much Whiskers!!! read more

Whiskers is absolutely the best dog grooming service I am aware of. I have known the owner for thirty years and have had my dogs lovingly groomed there. Unlike other groomers that I have gone to, my dogs eagerly go in and seem to enjoy their time there. They receive treats ( once it is approved by the pets' owners ) and lots of love during their grooming experience. Additionally, Cindy ( the owner), is terrific at helping out with any health issues your dog might have. I highly recommend Cindy, Debbie , or Dina. They are very compassionate and gentle with the dogs. read more

Best groomer in Chatsworth! I feel confident bringing my dogs here, and would highly recommend.

Go to Whiskers Grooming if you want your fur baby groomed by people who care. My girl Chloe has a slipped disc in her back and they were amazing. I was able to be with her, masked, so she could get bathed and cut. Easy to find, reasonable prices, lots of parking. When I was there I noticed many return customers. They knew them by name, asked about family and recent events happening in their lives. The employees are part of the community which is a great vibe. read more

We loved having our pup groomed at Whiskers, used them for the past 2 years. Sadly we had to move away to Norcal. Cindy and Debbie took great care of our Wally. Lots of long time customers go there and they get booked up for weeks. Wish it was convenient to just drive down and get our guy groomed. Thanks for the patience you gals had with Wally. read more

I used to live in Chatsworth and had been taking my dogs to Cindy. She's professional at what she does and have the most caring heart for our furry friends. Booking a schedule is simple. All respectful groomers could take time in communicating what you would like for your dog. Whisker would surely deliver what you asked for. I miss Cindy. I'm still looking for a groomer that shares her passion and love for our loyal companion read more

I am pretty nervous with my dads little dog, she is very squirmy and very scared with new experiences. I read a lot of reviews for this place of other scared dogs doing well here so I thought I'd try it out. They did an absolutely great job and only had her 2 hours the first time I brought her here even added a festive bandana. The second time they squeezed us in and I know they were short handed so she was there a lot longer but it was fine for them being able to take her last minute. I work nearby and was off work waiting in the lot. Not wanting her to see me and get riled up. I saw her calming sitting and staring at the workers in her crate. So I was relieved to know she wasn't stressed. I went to in to grab her and they mentioned how much they love her and how easy and sweet she is. They even made a special collar bow for her when I told them the grooming was for my dads birthday. I'm sold. I have no doubts about this place. It's cash only so I make to hit the atm before picking them up. I loved that they have everything visible from the front and that the lady who works there brings her own dogs to hang out in the pen setup in the center of the room. Real dog lovers there. read more

Whiskers - Before and after on my shy little dog. So adorable - Pet Groomers Near Me - Chatsworth, California

I cannot stress enough how important it is for people to not take their dogs there. I'm shocked by their reviews and I'm almost convinced they're paying to have their bad reviews removed because they are awful here! Let me tell you our experience... I called and asked if I can bring my dog in. Whoever answered told me they're very busy and scheduled my dog for an appointment the next day at 2 pm. I'm thinking like "wow! Appointments! I love that." So we take our 10 lb dog the next day at 1:30 pm. I had somewhere I needed to be so I figured he can wait in the crate for 30 minutes until they start on him. That day we had an event to attend at night time so we needed to be out of the house by 6:30. An appointment at 2 means we would have plenty of time. 5:30 comes around and still no call. So I call them and ask what's the status on our dog. She tells me they haven't even started! They had a senior dog come in and had to work on him. So the senior dog took you 4 hours?! I told them don't start, we're coming to pick him up! She wasn't remorseful or sorry in the slightest. She did not offer me a single apology. This is where it gets good. My husband picked him up 10 minutes after I got off the phone with the lady. In the 10 minutes since we had hung up the phone, they decided to shave his body only. Not his face, legs, or anything else. Just his body. My husband asks for Oscar, and they tell him it's $38. So In the 10 minutes since we hung up, they got him out of his crate and started shaving his body only so that they can charge us full price. It's unethical! My husband paid it and left and we haven't been back since. Absolutely horrible people! They are running a complete scam. I've never had dealings with such a horrible private business and I warn everyone to please stay away. There are so many wonderful, honest, hard working groomers that won't treat animals and people this way. Also, I saw somewhere in another comment that they take dogs out to pee and give them water. Not true. My dog was parched when we got home and had to go outside to do his business. read more

I bring my cocker spaniel here every couple months and she always comes home looking cute as ever, smelling good, and her cut lasts a long time compared to other groomers we've taken her to. She always came home from other groomers very nervous and exhausted, but I can tell the ladies at whiskers treat her with lots of love and consideration. Every time I pick her up they rave about how sweet she is and her friendliness to the other dogs. She even puts my dog with her own cocker spaniels she has in store which allows my dog to relax and socialize, which I greatly appreciate because it directly shows her thoughtfulness when it comes to the dogs. read more

I drive 20 minutes to take my elderly disables dogs to be groomed here. That's because they're gentle, experienced and knowledgeable and are true dog lovers. Cindy has guided me through the process of letting go of my last dog and she was so sweet and gentle up until the end. I love these ladies, best groomers in the valley and affordable too. read more

I was referred by a co-worker and I found an amazing groomer in the valley! I have two dogs, a shih tzu and a golden retriever mix. They were very scared at first. I am so glad Cindy put them in the same cage. Cindy wrote down all my dogs health issues (tumors/ warts) and they did a great job grooming and bathing them. Everyone there did great with my dogs no complaints! Will be back. read more

Let me preface this review by stating that I am not a weenie. Not unless it comes to my dog. Dropping her off, was probably the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I equate it with having to say goodbye to your child the first time they leave for sleep away camp. Except I don't have kids, and I picked her up two hours later. The ladies at whiskers are all very kind and are excellent at what they do. My pup comes home smelling great and looking pretty with a nice new haircut, not to mention the adorable bow they put on her collar. For $34 and a convenient location, this place has got it. The extreme amount of joy I experienced picking up my little one after her grooming session was slightly negated by the other jealous hounds who were literally mad dogging me while I walked out the door with my best friend. But I know for all my pups spa-ish needs, this is the place to go. read more

I take my dog Zuma. She is 50 lbs and I only pay $25 for her. Other places are 45. She come home smeling good, with her nails trimed and ears cleaned. Some times she gets her hair cut at no extra fee, so she looks ever cuter. I wish I could take her without appointment, that's the only down side. You get a lot more for ur money that other goomers. It leaves room for tips, and is still reasonable. read more

We took our dog here yesterday for the first time and could not be happier with the results. Emma's cut and accessories are adorable. The salon is clean and open, making it easily visible to guests. The only thing that I would have changed was the fast that I dropped Emma off 3 hours before she was actually worked on. At our old groomers, they would make appointments accordingly so the wait time wasn't that long. Despite that, Emma appeared to be content when we picked her up. Cash only. We will be back in 6 weeks! read more

The ladies at Whiskers seem to genuinely care for the dogs. Whiskers has the most reasonable pricing I've found in the valley. Never had a bad groom and they've never given my dog a razor burn or cut his skin as it's happened at other places. However, I had to stop bringing my dog here because it would take SO long to get him back. It's a small and stuffy place, and he's a big dog, so I would feel bad for him having to stay there all day in a cramped, stuffy place with little dogs barking incessantly. read more

We've only ever come here to get my dog's nails trimmed. We always come without an appointment, but despite a few nasty looks from the owner, someone is always able to make time to trim my dog's nails for $5. One of the reasons I took a star away was because of how bad it smells inside and how cluttered and dirty it seems. I haven't been to other grooming places so I don't know if they're the same way, but it kind of grosses me out. Overall, I will keep coming back to get my dogs nails trimmed since they are very accommodating for that, but not for grooming services. A-OK! read more

I was looking for someone to cut my lil doggies nails. He absolutely will not let me do it! I called Petco and they wanted $10.00! I called here and they quoted me $5.00. Now thats what I'm talkin about! The woman I spoke with, (think her name was Cindy or Debbie) told me to bring my lil guy anytime after 6PM. We arrived at 6:05 and they promptly cut his nails, perfect! Paid them 5 bucks and we were on our way, in less then 10 minutes! With this great curstomer service and all of their great reviews, I would def recommend them! read more

First time taking my pups to Whiskers and I am soooo impressed. I am more impressed with my maltipoo's hair cut. He is the most wiggly dog in the world and they did such a perfect job on him that I can't stop staring at his cuteness. Our groomer of 8 years has always complained about him and Whiskers had nothing but compliments to give about his behavior. My yorkie looks adorable and perfect from his ears to his toes. They smell so good. They came back so happy as if they visited a park. The lady who attended us in the front was very sweet and was so kind to our pups. Good bye to my old groomer and HELLO Whiskers! This place was recommended to me by a neighbor so I thought I'd pop in and take a look around on my way home from work. The staff seemed friendly enough, but the shop felt warm (all the dogs were panting), the crates were stacked four high (isn't there a rule against that?), and one of the groomers walked away from her table leaving the dog tethered at the neck. I will NOT be bringing my pups there. read more
