What an awesome spot to host an event! Who knew you could have so much fun going 4mph!

We got there and i had to consistently ask if they were ready for us and when were we going to start. Did not start on time for bowling, it was a 15-25 minutes late start and they cut our time short on bowling and rushed us to the whirlyball on the other side with our food. After i asked if we were going to get the remaining time for bowling she said the lanes were booked and they were too Understaffed. It was definitely not organized at all the lady in front was very rude. when i requested anything. Our food order came out cold it was overwhelming to try and talk to them. They really only had one bartender one server running around and two coaches at max for both whirball courts. Only good part was the our teams coach who made the experience a little more comfortable. read more

Brought a group of 8 to enjoy Whirlyball and Laser tag and enjoy some food and drinks. They had 1 bartender for the entire place. He had to read recipes for drinks...took forever to get even a bottled beer. Food was dry and came out almost cold. Additionally, we could never find our server to order more drinks. Fun activities but BAD service and food. read more

Attended an event here-good service-great bartender-most of the food was very tasty. Whirley Ball was fun. Lost one star only because the pizzas were disappointing and they let us in our party space 15 minutes late due to a previous party that ran over. But I would come again and recommend to host your event here read more

Great! Very fun and exciting! Pizza was good, but cupcakes where dry. Highly recommend!

Sick to my stomach at the amount of money I paid for a family of five. Once I learned there was a walk-in rate, and I could have had many more people join us for a party. I tried multiple times to reach people by phone and was not successful as I wanted to learn about how the process worked. There was no information about a walk in right on the website and the max number of people you could put into any given party was five I believe. While we had fun, I will never go back based on principle. We did talk to a manager who gave us a free 30 minutes the next time we came. No thanks, not spending another $250 for a place that can't answer their phone to help their customers understand what to expect read more

I produced a corporate event here back in October, and of all the MANY events I have produced across the country over the last 7 years, I can earnestly say this was the best event experience I have ever had. Like, nothing even comes close to the treatment we received at Whirlyball. Our guests had an excellent time, and the staff was incredibly warm and inviting. After our event concluded, the staff invited me and my clients to stick around and enjoy the facility (since we had been working the entire day). Derrick at the bar was INCREDIBLE. He gave us the white glove treatment all night. The Joes were incredibly gracious and set us up to play all the games in their venue until they closed at 2AM. Usually, after events, I just want to get out of the venue and slink back to my hotel, but we were here all night! My only regret is that I don't have many reasons to travel back to Naperville, but I might go out of my way to do so just because of the treatment we received here by the staff. Such a fun, inviting, friendly atmosphere where everyone is taking care of everyone. Thank you again to kind folks at WhirlyBall!! If you're looking for a place to host a corporate event, look no further. read more

Before Covid...a multigenerational family outing with people aged 9-74 spent four fun but very expensive hours at the obnoxiously loud WhirlyBall Naperville. The highlight of the day was Grandpa annihilating the others in a very intense game of whirlyball. Another highlight was a Grandma trying to sneak attack her beloved grandsons in laser tag but kept being blown to pieces by those much adored little hellions. We had lots of laughs, a few tears and made oodles of memories....looking forward to another outing. read more

Called to book a party next month but was told that I have to place an event request online. The rep said I can't reserve whirlyball without a food and drink option selected. My group was planning on doing dinner at a restaurant after the event and most do not drink. So $250 for the hour of play plus 20-30 per person for food and drinks. She said if you want to reserve more than 7 days ahead you have to book food and drinks. This is not stated anywhere on the website, so now I have a group planning on going to a 40th bday party at whirleyball, but no way to reserve the date/time. This is not how the Lombard location used to operate. Not everyone wants bar food for a bday celebration. We just want the activity. If this is your policy it needs to be stated on your website, so that people know up front read more

Booked 2 hours of Whitley ball, extremely enjoyable, service, food and facilities, all were great. Highly recommended.

NYE dinner with the family & it was GREAT. Everything we ordered was delicious & the service was outstanding. With it being New Year's Eve, our server told us he was also the bartender so hell try not to make us wait. From the hummus appetizer, short rib sliders, buffalo chicken & the burgers, you can't go wrong. We'll definitely be back & often read more

Had a great experience celebrating my son's 30th birthday party here. Staff and servers at the facility were wonderful to work with. Great craft beer menu choices. The food was really good and when we needed to move to another area because another party was coming in they were very accommodating and found a way for us to have a section of the front bar to continue our party. Everyone had a lot of fun. Just one caution ...there is a 20% "Service Charge" on the food and beverage portion of the contract which is NOT the gratuity. Was a bit deceptive and I thought they should just charge their true price for the food and not add some random, unexplained line item of 20%. But overall it was a great time, good food, a unique experience and a tons of laughs. read more

Amazing time! Great bonding experiences, great food, and hot waitresses. AWA WAS THE BEST!

Excellent service and great nachos. Eva was a very attentive and accommodating server!

We had an office party here and Ewa was an amazing server!!!! The atmosphere is fun and the facility is clean. I would 100% recommend for company parties or birthdays!! read more

We went there for a friends birthday party and had a great time! All of our kids, 2,5,and 14 had a blast as well as we did. We also really liked their party menu, which was perfect for snacking along the way. Yummy food and drinks. Our server Ewa was also super patient and helpful, especially since we had a bunch of crazy kids with us. We will def be going back and having our own parties there! read more

Horrible service. Our corporate event was 3 times the price they quoted us. They never brought us water, ran out of wrist bands, we waited for 45 minutes for drinks. Horrible experience, ridiculous pricing for the event. read more

I'm currently in the planning phase of hosting my husband's birthday party here. So far the phone customer service has been terrible! If my husband didn't want his party here I would've moved on to another entrainment space. I went to Whirlyball Naperville to get more information about the space, pricing and reserving the date/time. The manager on duty at the location was great! He was knowledgeable and very friendly. We were ready to book that day. He advised us that we had to contact their customer service to book events. It all went downhill from there. The first time I called the customer service a female was very matter of fact. She acted like I was bothering her with my questions. She is definitely overdue for a customer service training. I immediately hung up, hoping I would get another representative the next time. I called a few days later and received a rep who was slightly better. Not great but better than the last. He tentatively booked our date and time and provided us with 3 days to review the contract. The email specifically states to email back with any questions or concern. I reviewed the contract and asked that my food order option is changed. I didn't receive a response, so I called back and guess who I got-the lady who lacks professionalism. Again, she was rude and very matter of fact. I asked for the person who booked my party, she loudly stated that he wasn't available. I just hung up as I was over it! Not more than 5 minutes later, I received a email from the person who booked me. Bottom line- their phone customer service department doesn't take their job serious. The management should allow customers to book at the facility if they desire. read more

Called to book a party next month but the gal on the phone didn't work with me for any options or suggestions to make this happen. I agree with all the real reviews thus far. She said I can't reserve whirlyball without a food and drink option selected. So $250 for the hour of play plus 20-30 per person for food and drinks. She said if you want to reserve more than 7 days ahead you have to book food and drinks. Maybe we can walk in but after the call i dont know if it will be worth it. read more

ok so this location is new - but talk about a total lack of customer service! The whirlyball part itself is fine - expensive but i knew the cost going in. But if you reserve a court you have to agree to a $30+ food and Beveridge cost (per person) on top of the $250 court fee. So you really have to drink a lot or order food. We did this as a family outing so we ate in their restaurant. Big mistake. The food is like bar food - bad pizza, over cooked burgers, and the worst nachos i have ever had. so i had to spend $310 in the restaurant on pizza and bad burgers. They need to rethink their setup. read more

We set up a Corporate event at Whirlyball and Danielle Salerno was a wonderful event coordinator! She provided great communication and reasonably priced entertainment on short notice for our event. The food and service was outstanding! We had about 60 people at our event and it was a great family atmosphere. We had such a great experience we scheduled a social event for our small group from church with Danielle. Again the event set up was easy and affordable. Our second event was much smaller but our experience, service and food was amazing! We would highly recommend having an event at Whirlyball! I read more

Visited the new location with a group. We all had an amazing time! The games were fun, the food was outtstanding and the drink options were awesome! The service was also outstanding. Our server, Ewa, was right there to help us out with any questions and was spot on with our orders! We will definitely be back! read more

The service was so great!! Courtney and Nikki helped my family and I, and they went above and beyond. The food was awesome and worth the price. Will definitely go again. 10/10 recommend. read more

We went to this new venue for New Years Eve 2019 from 1-7pm for their family event. We had an excellent time with multiple games of Whirlyball (2 courts), lasertag, and bowling. The place is very spacious with both lasertag and additional 4 bowling lanes upstairs. For NYE, they had a wide variety of food and soft drinks always available. There were some initial hiccups, but they were handled quickly and professionally. I would specifically like to call out Kim Kucaba for assisting us during the night and for such a well run event. read more

Didn't know if the building was even open for business, but I was so hungry that i popped in anyway. I sat at the bar and was impressed by the depth of their craft beer selections, and a menu that is upscale casual than "entertainment venue" food. Delicious chicken sandwich, and found myself watching a WhirlyBall match. Looks like a blast, and will be bringing some friends in to play after the holidays. Great start for a new spot. read more

Our corporate event was a blast last night! Whirlyball is like lacrosse on bumper carts. We had a buffet set up that the staff was quick at refreshing and we had three servers working our party. We had a drink package and I was kept happy and full of beer! I had a good time talking to Kevin about the local craft beers available and he gave great recommendations to me and everyone I was sitting with. Cheers! read more

We came in for a birthday party for my friend and we had a blast! The refs kept everyone happy, and the food was very good. Kevin was very attentive and was always standing by every time we exited a game and gave good beer recommendations. Hoping to come by for more birthdays in the future! read more

We just had our Christmas party there yesterday and a true disappointment. When we originally booked the event we were given a sampling of their food, Very good...however when we got our actual luncheon, the Deep dish pizza was not deep dish, a slab of cheese on thin dough with something that was red brushed on top. Small Chicago Hot dogs with all the trimmings that were about three inches big, and at room temperature, sliders that the hamburgers were dried out. The buns were stale and the dressing on the salad was one day away from expiring. We had very limited food for anyone who might want seconds. We originally were told that our party would be downstairs next to the whirlyball court and the bowling alleys and that we would be able to nibble as we played, GREAT...instead we were upstairs in a room that was too large, two small round tables with the chairs around them and the over priced food tucked in the corner. The server never once came in the see how we were doing or to ask if anyone wanted another drink. He did show up when it was time to leave the room and go downstairs to play. I do not feel that we got what we were showed and it was over priced. Absolutely no Christmas decor to let you know that you were even having a special Christmas party. Would not recommend or go back read more

This place is so much fun!! I've taken my kids multiple times and they love playing Whirlyball! We all had a blast playing laser tag and got to try out a few different games...they have team options and a free for all version. This new Hyper bowling is so much fun! It's bowling with a twist, the bumpers are always up and you're encouraged to hit them. You get point multipliers for hitting different colors on the bumpers before knocking down as many pins as you can! My favorite part about this place has got to be the food and drinks! The chef is amazing and the beer selection is off the charts. The awesome nachos are my favorite app, I chose to add chicken to them for added protein. The roasted veggie sandwich is the best! My son loves the rustic brick chicken entree and all the flatbread pizzas are great. For dessert, the brown butter cake is to die for! The blueberry compote and berry gelato are perfect on top of the warm brown butter cake! Mmmm.... Thanks for the great service Whirlyball, we will definitely be back soon!! read more
