We requested an inspection of a fireplace, which was supposed to take 60-90 min at $230. They arrived and spent at max 15 minutes, pointing out a minor problem but not fixing it, and leaving. So if I want it fixed, it's another $230 + $50 to fix the problem. I tried to contact them afterwards and it took me almost 3 weeks to get a response (it was over the holidays, but I would still at least expect a 'we got your message' response from a mom and pop shop? I had planned to to use my fireplace over the holidays for heating but could not because of this, which sucks! ) This is my first time using a chimney service and maybe this is just what to expect, but it felt like a giant waste of money. read more

Woof!! These guys get a 5 bark rating! Remember the atmospheric river in February? We weren't allowed in the family room because it was leaking down the chimney, walls, onto the carpet...my masters were growling mad! My master called 6 chimney people, only Laura called back that morning. I think 4 called back within a week! Thanks for Charlie Dunn's hard work. Charlie helped me inspect the squirrel holes on the top of exterior chimney. He inspected both of interior and exterior chimney and also roof.He took pictures and made notes. Then he explained everything in very details. After that he gave me suggestions and solutions. The part he can't do , he helped me contact the other handyman to do it. I don't need to talk to explain anything to that handyman. Charlie helped communicate with that person. The story: Due to the competitive Real Estate market our buyer(s) backs were against the wall due to a short investigation period and a home inspector who called out a chimney for further investigation.
