place is great,…read more don't know how laundry works? you buy a card, costs 5 bucks then you refill it in 10/2030 increments cash or credit, they even have machines to change a 10 for 2 fives. choose your wash depending on size 20lb/40lb etc (don't worry if you choose a big one, it's done by weight) washers are blue and in the middle of the place, each W/D has a unique name. (so you can remember you got washed by miguel) then dry your laundry in the drys on the sides. here's some savings info: 25% off on washers and 15% off on dryers 12AM-6PM Tue-Wed-Thu. Free WiFi. free wifi so browse away. btw ACME foods is right next door, they even have a "cut out" in the fence so you can walk over to ACME and do some food shopping. of course if you're gonna do some food shopping, don't buy cold/frozen food so early, or you can bring a long a cooler, that would work too. ACME closes at 12am btw rub a dub is 24/7 they also have a bathroom that card key activated. really not much more. can get super crowded on the weekends, but i mean come on, expect that, also you'll still have machines, there's like 40 of em. oh and btw i don't use liquid or powered detergent, i use the easy packets, it's a lot easier to use these and to transport too, no annoying drippy bottle to deal with. i just put like 4 and 4 sheets of fabric softener in a rubbermaid.

I used to love coming to this place. However, this is the 2nd time coming here and had a machine…read moretake my money from me. The first time was $20 from two or three machines which were labeled. That was a bad feeling because I had soap in the machines, but at least they were labeled machines, $20 and the owner got back to me quickly. This time it was $41 dollars in CASH and it was the VTM machine (the one you feed the money to for it to go on your card). It reflected $41.75, however when I used it in the machine it kept reading as only .70 on the card. So, I took a deep breath and tried another one of my FOUR Machines and again .70, so I took it back to the VTM and checked it again and it read .70!!!!! I almost cried!!!! Luckily for me I just got paid and was fortunate enough to have another $40 that I could put on a new card which I had to purchase for $5, but this time I did it through my debit card, so I would register on my bank statement. I'm hoping the owner will do right by me, but this has got to stop!!!! Get it together Rub A Dub!!!!

I usually use Express Laundromat on 46 in Parsippany, but they were flooded today, so the store was…read moreclosed. This place looked promising, but I ended up not doing my laundry here after walking in for three reasons: 1. There are only a handful of "big" washing machines (the kind that can do multiple loads of clothing) and they were all taken. Fair enough, it is the weekend. I was prepared to split my load into two of the smaller machines. 2. Unfortunately, the machines only accept payment in the form of a pre-loaded laundry card. This sort of proprietary form of payment is inconvenient and part of the reason why I stopped doing my laundry at my apartment complex, which used a similar system. (Express Laundromat has machines you can pay into directly with card, coins, or tap-to-pay. If you only have cash, they have coin machines, btw.) 3. But fine, for just today I was willing to pay for one of these cards so that I could do my laundry. Except, the kiosk that dispenses the cards only accepts cash! I didn't have the cash on me to load onto a new card, so I really had no choice BUT to leave with my laundry. But even if I did have the cash, I would never come back to this place. There aren't enough big machines, and more importantly the payment process feels like a massive grift. Booooooo.

I came here for the first time last week when my washing machine was broken…read more I felt very comfortable coming here, even during the COVID-19 pandemic as I saw Alba (one of the employees) walking around every few minutes sweeping and disinfecting the frequently touched surfaces of the laundromat such as the door handles for the entrance and the washing/drying machines that were in use. She was very nice and she was wearing a mask, as was everyone else inside the laundromat since it's obviously required. There aren't any seats inside like I've read in some reviews, but maybe they were removed as a COVID precaution? There's free wifi available though and tons of TVs all over to keep you busy. In short, it's a laundromat lol. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about either.
