Totally ruined the sleeves on my $6500 Thom Browne suit. When I tried it on for them I asked if they could do it perfectly. I was assured three times that it would be. I'm literally embarrassed to wear it and will probably throw it in a Goodwill box because it looks so awful. If I can give the seamstress negative stars I would. She is extremely rude and unprofessional. I went in to get the straps of my dress shortened. She quoted me $25 which was expensive, but this wasn't the issue. When I asked her to put that stitches in the back instead of the front, she responded with "you do it then!". Very professional service, and the fairest prices. Got my jeans tailored for $13.00 which is a dollar cheaper than every other place I phoned. Owned by a nice korean couple. Their business seems booming as there is always a 2 person line (when I dropped the jeans off and when I picked it up) and the owners know the regulars. The inside is nice and seems like they do everything from jeans to bridal clothing. Will return! read more

The service here is really bad. I sent my boots to wash in July and the shop totally forget to take my boots to clean. In October, when I follow up with them, they realized and told me that I needed to wait for another 2 weeks. Finally I called them and they said my boots were there in Nov. When I went to the cleaner shop, I found that they gave me the wrong boots and my boots were taken by some else. By the way, they never call you if boots are ready for pick up. It is my responsibility to follow up with them in the past few months. As a customer, I feel so frustrated. And even someone else took my boots by mistake. They do not mind to say SORRY. Not recommend this cleaner shop at all. Very bad experience! read more

I used to live near Livingston and would always bring my clothes here but now that I live further away, I really miss this place. Clothing was always perfectly cleaned and I always had my alterations done here. I was just looking at this page and saw a nasty review. I know sometimes accidents happen, but it's not a reflection of their outstanding cleaning and alterations. They are kind and professional always. I have been to dozens of other cleaners and have yet to find one as good as this one. If you live in Livingston, you're lucky to have such a good place near you. FAIL! Here I was, loving my dry cleaner and then all hell broke loose. They did some alterations for us on brand new, right out of the package curtains. They were pricey so we decided we'd take them elsewhere. The owner was insistent to give us a good price and kept lowering it to meet our expectation. Awesome, thank you! Sadly, she never did the alterations after we gave her nearly 2 weeks to do them (which she said was longer than usual since she was lowering the price for us - confusing, but we obliged). When we went to pick them up, she said she had other orders that were "more important" and hadn't done the job. Really, then why not call and tell me you need an extra day or so? She was hemming curtains not making me a dress. Needless to say, they had them done the next day. Look at that! And when they were returned, they were damaged beyond repair riddled with tears and holes. How could you not do a job, not tell someone and then do it so poorly that they have tears throughout the fabric? These were brand new. I was livid. She went out and bought a new one (which was nice but she ruined them - she has to either give us the money or replace it) and hemmed it but when we brought it home, it was off by more than 2 inches. Oh my god - really? It was such a mess. We still hadn't found a new dry cleaner and let a few weeks go by deciding what we'd do next. When the incident happened, Grace Cleaners told us how much they appreciated our business and what good customers we were, so we thought, "Hey, they cleaned our clothes well, we just won't go back for alterations." So we did. I returned to the store and said how we always liked the way they cleaned our clothes and if they wanted us back as customers, we'd go to them for dry cleaning. The guy said he had to talk to the wife but she wasn't there. Wasn't leaving my clothes there for him to decide if he wanted me as a customer - sorry man. So when I didn't give him a chance to have a heart to heart with his wife, he told me that he didn't think it would be a good idea to work with us because they were "sad and hurt" about what happened last time and couldn't go through that again. Are you fucking serious? You're my dry cleaner, not my boyfriend. How do you deny business after you ripped my belongings and failed to do the job properly after three tries? So, needless to say, we're off to find another dry cleaner, yet our mouths are still hanging wide open by the whole dry cleaner drama. read more

I love this cleaners! Jim and Jessica are experts at what they do and the nicest people. I have many VERY expensive alterations to be done and Jessica has never disappointed me, whether it's a designer pant suit, a dress, or even my new curtains. She always has them done promptly and without error. The person that wrote the other review is a big fat snob (typical of Livingston) and needs to realize that this is the busiest, most successful cleaners in Livingston and that if you have shabby, ALREADY RIPPED (That's right, those curtains were not brand new, she had tattered them beyond repair) curtains that need to be fixed, there are other cleaners around to take care of your petty problems. This place deals with quality. Jim is excellent at removing stains and goes out of his way to make sure that I receive everything on time, whether I want to pick it up or have it delivered. Most of the time he even carries my clothing out to the car for me, gives my kids lollipops, and asks how my family is doing. The quality of service is unmatched here, Especially because they deal with Livingston snobs like Michelle L. on the daily. Love these guys! I wouldn't take my valuables anywhere else. read more

I've been taking my dry cleaning to Grace for over 10 years. They are second to none. Jim and Jessica ALWAYS greet their customers by name and with a smile. I have little ones and they even offered to have me call prior to coming in so they can bring my clothes to my car so as not to have to take my children out. Their quality of work is unbeatable. I have to share this story about Jim who is one of the kindest and compassionate people I know. My elderly mom has been a patron of Grace Cleaners for years and she fell today going into the store and Jim helped her up and immediately drove her to Summit Medical Center in Livingston and stayed with her for more than 3 hours while they stitched her eyebrow and waited with her there until the ambulance came to transport her to Morristown Memorial Hospital. My mom called me only while she was waiting for the ambulance and she put Jim on the phone and I thanked him profusely and told him I'd be waiting at the hospital for her arrival. When I got there, Jim was there too, and he came in to make sure she was OK. He explained that he too has an elderly mother and would hope that someone would do the same for her in a similar situation. Thank you Jim from the bottom of my heart for the compassion you showed my mom today. I only hope that someone does the same for your mom in a similar situation. I have been coming here for years now and the service here is great. this cleaners has a classy feel and the people there are very friendly.
