Was going on a cruise and ordered three outfits for the dinners. When the outfits finally arrived, the pants were very long and all needed hems. Great at alterations. Done multiple alterations there. Parking is difficult though but I find it worth it.

People in this shop are nice, and alteration job is OK, but they can't handle black colored clothes. I brought in my brand new, unworn shirts to be laundered to get the stiffness out. They ruined them by probably pressing too hard so the edges of collars, wrists, and center buttoned section were discolored and looked worn out. I complained and they tried to fix but didn't work. Later when I removed from the plastic cover from the store I also found my black trouser had the upper section discolored that must have been from pressing hard with higher temp for the fabric and I could see the color difference from the rest below the legs. WOWWWWWWWWW what else can I say about this place!!!! Ok so I just moved here. Here's what I discovered. Dry cleaning is expensive everywhere around here (at least the places that are recommended and always busy which is a good sign bc you know your suits won't come out looking like a burnt piece of toast). I usually use dryel from rite aid but my apartment complex doesn't have a washer dryer that has timing so i had to find a dry cleaner. They have the best reviews and boy were the reviews right. My clothes after one dry cleaning here feel like I just bought them from the store. AMAZING. But expensive. Ok but tbh the real reason for this post is the tailor. Oh my sweet baby Jesus this woman is an angel on earth. I brought three items for her to tailor because her reviews were out of the this world. A skirt to be taken in, white silk pants to be hemmed, and a French silk romper that is 4 sizes too big on me now (I lost weight which has been great but also bad because now nothing fits). back to my story. Everything turned out beautiful but let's go back to this romper. THIS THING WAS A 4 SIZES TOO BIG AND FRENCH SILK WITH BUTTONS AND ZIPPERS AND DELICATE FABRIC. Before I brought it here I looked like a mix between a dog wearing a rain jacket (you know the ones that always slide off because the Velcro won't stick) and a parsnip wearing a paper bag. If you try really hard to picture this the picture you get isn't pretty. I didn't have the highest of hopes because I mean i was really starting from the bottom. It took 5 days to do all three items which isn't bad but I was anxious. I showed up to pick this up and try it on post alterations and let me say this WOWWWWWWWW!!!!!! It looked better than it did when I bought it in store!!!! It looks made for me (I suppose that's the whole point of tailoring) but I mean!!!! I WAS LIKE NEW ROMPER WHO DIS!!!!!! Because i couldn't believe it!!!!! I wanted to sound of music run on a hill singing in this thing!!!! It's beautiful and i felt beautiful!!! This place is a piece of shit!!! My clothes were supposed to be ready on a Wednesday evening and the place closed at 7pm. I drove all the way, parked, and came at 6:35PM and the doors were looked-- no sign, no notice, no way to leave a voicemail. I needed my clothes! If you have expensive, bespoke or MTM suits and jackets, this is the only dry cleaner in NJ you can trust. Items come back clean, properly hung, are pressed carefully with lapel roll preserved. I've yet to receive a damaged item and things are ready on the assigned date. My wife and I have been using the services of Morristown Cleaners for years, not just for cleaning, which is excellent, but also for alterations. Recently, for the first time in many years, I needed to have them re-do an alteration to a shirt due to a misunderstanding about the length. They fixed the problem and gave me a full refund, without my asking for any compensation. I tried to refuse the refund, but they insisted, saying, "Now I feel better." Been going here a little under a year. They do a drop off service with my building. Sometimes I drop off myself. There is street parking and a few spots behind the building. They have helped me with everything to stains, missing buttons and even kept my trench coat (which I forgot for almost 2 months). They are always polite and easy to work with. Read your bill and count your change. I caught them charging my card for a cleaning job that they didn't do. I asked them to reverse the charges, the kid offered me cash, and then shortchanged me on the cash refund! I think that this is a matter of carelessness rather than dishonesty, but I'd rather deal with someone who is careful with my money, and doesn't give me some nonplussed attitude when I catch them overbilling me! The young counter attendant could care less if they lose a customer and resorted to being disrespectful and confrontational with me over the fact that they did not have my suit ready on time.
