There are only a handful of "big" washing machines (the kind that can do multiple loads of clothing) and they were all taken. Fair enough, it is the weekend. I was prepared to split my load into two of the smaller machines. 2. Unfortunately, the machines only accept payment in the form of a pre-loaded laundry card. This sort of proprietary form of payment is inconvenient and part of the reason why I stopped doing my laundry at my apartment complex, which used a similar system. (Express Laundromat has machines you can pay into directly with card, coins, or tap-to-pay. If you only have cash, they have coin machines, btw.) 3. But fine, for just today I was willing to pay for one of these cards so that I could do my laundry. Except, the kiosk that dispenses the cards only accepts cash! I didn't have the cash on me to load onto a new card, so I really had no choice BUT to leave with my laundry. But even if I did have the cash, I would never come back to this place.
