My car was serviced by Whip Clean and during the process they broke my drivers seat. After the run around I was connected to a general manager who stated the damage was there prior to being serviced. It was not. He presented blurry pics of what he stated was a "gap" in the seat. I'm so offended and upset. My car was purchased less than a month ago and the seat had no damage to it prior. As soon as they pulled my car around, before even getting in the car, we noticed the damage!!! Please do not take this place here. My little one had absolutely destroyed the inside of my car. Any type of crumbs, you name it was on the floor. It was so bad I was embarrassed to open the car door because I didn't want anyone to see how filthy my car had gotten. Took it here to get it cleaned and I promise, in less than 10 minutes, my car looked sparkling brand new! Will absolutely come back for routine washes! read more

Terrible service. Super slow lines due to employees sitting on their phones and not paying attention. The car wash is obviously not maintained and is terrible shape. Vacuums barely work. I frequent this carwash often, they do a decent job of washing the car. The only complaints I have is the interior cleaning of the car is rushed so sometimes spots can be missed and when they wipe off the outside they can miss spots as well. read more

I keep coming here when I can actually get here because they don't have late hours even during the summer. I'm still disappointed that they charge me a service fee as a VIP membership. The service is usually pretty good but not always consistent. Today, really just need to get the raindrops off and get it shined up a bit. Today I had a car wash done and they put the backseat down and broke the handle off leaving the seat stuck down. They got the manager who did attempt to get the seat back up. When he couldn't, suddenly it was my fault. I didn't tell them anything was wrong with the seat. Well sir that's because there wasn't anything wrong with the seat. Then he looked at the mileage and said because there was over 200k miles that there was nothing they can do. Great way to treat your customers. Beware, if they break anything on your vehicle, it's not their problem. I'm still confused what the mileage has to do with their employees breaking the seat handle. An employee was at the kiosk to explain and help with payment which also aided on keeping the line moving. I got the $35 package (my car was REALLY bad yall) and I went through the drive thru. I then drove around for the full service interior wash. There's an entire shop and waiting area. They have cameras so you can see your car going down the line. My car was ready and I was asked to inspect it. The rims were not very clean. They didn't touch the dash board. I feel like I get a better wash from my favorite spot for $20. This is a fairly new, clean, and quick service car wash. Pros: multiple washing packages, service members to explain/help with payments at machines, indoor waiting area, FREE self-vacuum stations & pressurized air Cons: price (apparently there are coupons online-check that out), a bit of confusion when to park & get out of your car if you are having the interior detailed, depends who does your car as to if they hit all of the spots. It is my opinion that this car wash is overpriced. I got the "ultimate" ($35) and was very disappointed. My dash wasn't even wiped off. I could still see dust and dog hair- they didn't touch it. Also, I have a coupe and they didn't vac the carpet in the back at all. After my service I went to the free vacuum cleaners and tidied up-- a bit ridiculous after paying $35. I honestly would have been better off getting the $8 express (exterior only) and doing the inside myself. Should I ever return, that's likely what I'll do. read more

Surprisingly the line does not move as slow as it looks because it's long. They do move the lines and for those young men and women that assist at the gate, they are always polite, professional and friendly every time I go. Always helpful if I run into a problem with my membership. I can't speak on the team that finishes the upgraded membership for individualized cleaning and drying. I see customers helping to wipe and sort of get in the way or want it done a certain way. Sit your butt down and let them do their job. Sheshhhh! Sometimes the vacuums in the self-cleaning aren't working properly and kind of weak to really deep clean the carpet. I asked one of the staff members and he explained why and offered to clean them so they would work stronger. They won't know they're not functioning properly if you don't tell them. I always bring my vehicles here for detailing. It's the best experience hands down I've ever had. I used to go to a place in Rockville that was great but like most car cleaning spots, there was no real "comfortable" waiting room and detailing takes like 2 hours so.... anywhoo, this spot has nice leather seating, TVs, a large screen to watch your cars progress, wifi, snacks, and charging hubs. The bathroom is pristine and always clean, not to mention the sink is modern and has a dryer in the sink-- never seen that before lol. I'd like to shout out two guys who detail and do WONDERFUL work. Tio & Paul. Tio is on point everytime and has super attention to detail. My last visit was with Paul for the first time and the result was spectacular. I instantly scheduled to bring our other car in. We have a kid so the crumb game is SERIOUS; Paul got up each and every crumb out of the crevices and I know it was hard work. They don't make me feel bad for having a lived-in vehicle, lol. They always hand my vehicle back over with a smile. It makes the price tag worth it. I got the leather conditioner for the first time today and WOOOOOOOOW, I should have added that on a long time ago. Horrible experience. I paid for car washing services for a month. Had no idea that they continued to charge me a monthly fee, each month with the fee increasing. Ended up charging my debit card $1,051.00 without my knowledge. No signs that explain you would continue to be charged. When I approached the owner, he told me to get off of his property and he called the police on me because I demanded my money be refunded. This place is a rip off and I would recommend to anyone! The interior...they only washed the mats. There still is dust, hair and pine needles everywhere. I can't believe they could see this interior job and think they were finished. Maybe they only get a certain amount of time to clean and my car required more? I use to go to Annapolis for my wash/detail job and looks like I still will. Sad. I paid $38 for the best package.... When I went out to pick up my car when it was done, I was told by the attendant that if I paid an additional $8, they could focus on cleaning my wheels.... I thought $38 was more than enough that they should have included cleaning my wheels... then, after I left, I realized that there was a streak of dirt underneath my doors (photo attached on yelp) and a scratch on my side panel and dirt still on my windshield (it had been wiped over but still visible)... my car didn't start out filthy, but even if it did, for $38 they could have done a better job. There's too much quality competition out there to revisit this business. read more

I got to the car wash at 8:30am when they said the were going to be open and I was the 4th car in line. All the employees got there at 8:30am and now it is 9am we're just being able to go through the car wash. So do we open at 8:30am or 9am? First time coming when they first open. It's extremely unfortunate that you spend so much money per month for a membership with this car wash and when you take your car to have it cleaned... you would have just been better off driving it through a gas station car wash. They do an extremely piss poor job. I've seen customers having to walk around their cars and point out things that were missed or whipping their own cars down. You guys have to do better. It would be extremely nice if they would put a little bit more effort into making sure that the customers needs are met and that customers cars are cleaned the correct way. read more

Definitely not worth the $27 for the ultimate wash. It included the debugger and I had almost as many still stuck on my car as when I pulled in. They were fast and the car wash was over before it started. There was just one pass through the brushes a rinse and that was it. After the blowers were done "drying" my car, I had soap still dripping from my car. So not only did the blowers not dry my car (and I was expecting a little water to be left), the rinse was a bust because there was still soap left. I was offered an upgrade by $8 for unlimited washes ...and now I see why - you have to go through multiple times for a good cleaning. In my opinion, the gas station's auto wash does slightly better ...and is a lot cheaper. The staff are friendly. read more

I have been using the car wash in Annapolis, Solomon's Island road, for a long time. Then Whip Clean opened up. I have done the express wash there. The car came out with soap all over the windows but they managed to wipe it for me and I was off to self-service vacuum. So I decided to give them a bigger shot. I went for full tip of the line cleaning, exterior and interior. My car was dirty: I had just returned from a camping trip. As another reviewer said they should be called half whip clean. There were several problems I am not even sure I can nightlight all. The pictures will help me explain. I noticed something was going to be wrong when at the first step the employee moved too fast to start the auto cleaning and most of the dirt and mud remained on my wheels and inside the rim. After the auto clean, I sat and waited for the interior to be done. When I was called to get the car, the exterior seemed okay. I didn't pay too much attention on the details. And I paid a price, hefty price for it. Plus the loss of a $5 tip. The car was poorly vacuumed inside. The trunk was never touched. It was not wiped. There was dirt on most doors and seats. The main console was dirty and never saw a wipe. Three wheels were partially shining and one was completely ignored. I emailed them and wrote on their contact page online and got a silent response. But I should feel lucky right? At least they didn't disappeared with my floor carpets as they did to another reviewer. Oh perhaps I should go to my car right now and look! I should have never trusted them. There were some mixed reviews on my community facebook page and I ignored them. I will now inform my 1200 neighbors about my experience and show the photographs. I wish I was an isolated case and that the manager would get in touch with me and use my photos to do kite training with their crew. Apparently they like to provide silent responses. I lost my hope that I was just a result of a bad day. I should resume going to the car wash in Annapolis, Washhaus Car Wash. it takes me an additional 5 minutes to get there but it is definitely worth the time. And they are also cheaper and much better. Avoid at all cost, I got the $55 vip membership, I went there on 6 different occasions and not once did they clean the interior of my vehicle. The last time which was today I told the guy to make sure my interior is cleaned, he said ok after the wipe down I went to my vehicle and again the interior was untouched. I asked the guy that does the wipe down to clean the interior and he responded cup holders attract dirt. I looked at him and said it was never cleaned. I think the negative reviews of this place are people who expect a car detailing in 10 minutes and $30. My car comes out perfectly clean (inside and outside) every single time. I could not take the dirt any longer. With no interior cleaning since covid, I tried out this spot. I drove up and the menu was alittle confusing. I knew the services I wanted but ensuring I was selecting the proper package and add ons was the problem, such as rubber mat cleaning. I selected the full package that includes interior console cleaning. Price is reasonable. When I received my car, I was disappointed because the crumbs and dust were still on the dash, cup holder and console. I went inside to talk to a representative. She explained that I needed the serious detail service but offered to go back over the interior. The second wipe was not great but it was better. I'll try again but speak to a staff member first about extensive detailing of interior. read more

I can understand why some folks may have a problem with this carwash but if you're not pretentious and want a quality wash and 5 minutes from my house you'd be hard pressed to find one closer. I get the $35 a month and have been pleased with the machine wash. I drive a fairly nice car and like it to be clean often. I dont have time to wash and wax my car myself as time does not permit often. If you're looking for an auto spa where the folks meticulously clean every inch this ain't for you. Would I take a Lamborghini, Porsche, or maybach here??? NAW. I have taken my Audi and Genesis G80 which are nice and I drive daily. The only down side I've seen is that the wheel cleaning machine just doesn't bust the brake dust away as well as I like. I have 20in aftermarket wheels and they have grooves that need a little extra umph. Other than that $35 for unlimited washes, vacuums, and air compressors to blow away grime on the interior. You can't beat it. The lot is always clean and the inside smells nice with a public restrooms if you have the detail service done to your vehicle. Side note, a lot of the workers here are teenage kids who are making minimum wage. If you're coming here expecting seasoned vets who have taken care of nice cars come on. It's a car wash not some high end boutique. If you're that anal about it pay for an at home cleaning service let these kids make some money and Bowie needs all the good businesses we can get.
