I was a customer here 2010-11 and again for the last 3 weeks. PROS: Monthly memberships are a good deal anywhere. You never have to worry about the future weather when deciding to get a car wash. They also seem to hire teenagers and young adults from the area. CONS: lines can be long and slow. Never a perfect wash but hell I'll be back tomorrow maybe you'll get it right then. TIP FOR MGMT: improve on wash/dry then monthly subscribers won't need to come every other day.. in turn shortening your long lines. read more

If you go here, skip the interior vac. It's literally nothing... I think my car actually left dirtier than I brought it! Exterior is fiiine, but bugs were still there, water spots, neither my wheels or tires were cleaned. You stand there while they vaccume and ride the car through the wash. I used to be a proud returning customer at Seabrook Cashwash back in the day but going back to them over the past two months they have truly fell off and lost a customer... I went for a carwash yesterday and ordered the "WORKS"... Before even leaving the vacuum area I noticed that they did not move the seats at all to vacuum under them and barely touch the back row seats at all... Then after getting through the car wash and detailing area and quick walk around (due to running late for work I left) but later that evening when my shift was over I noticed the very poor attention to detail on the most simple thing to clean... Let's s start with the rude woman eating her breakfast that could not be bothered. I had not been here in a year, did not know the procedure, had questions and asked if she was working, she asked me "Do you have a problem that I'm eating?" Well Ma'am actually, professional establishments know that you should not be eating "on the floor," when you are working, dealing with clients. That's what breaks are for. Nevertheless, I was not about to argue with her and I did as directed and drove in to the vacuum area. As other reviewers pointed out, more than several spots are missed. So they charge extra to clean mats? Fine, but you mean to tell me, they couldn't have smacked them against the ground to get the crumbs and debris out? How did they not pass the vacuum over the mats? I did hear a supervisor telling the vacuum guy to get off his phone. He was very stern and gave it as a warning. Maybe the vacuum crew does not pay too much attention bc they are too busy on their phones? I love that they hire locals from the neighborhood but they must be better trained! The console still had dusts/crumbs as well. I came here once last year ad the small piece for the camera that's on the windshield was accidentally ripped down, when they were whiping the windshield. It was stuck with some kind of glue or tape, so today I put a post it note sign that said "Do Not Touch." Since it's not their car, no care is taken! There is speed and efficiency but this is not it! They rush and do a sloppy, horrible job, with NO efficiency. Finally, near the end where there are like 6 people trying to wipe down your car in 2.5 seconds, I reminded them about the camera and also said "WIPE DOWN THE DOOR JAMBS." I specifically told the supervisor and he barely acknowledged me, just shook his head. Please, see my pix to see the filth that was still on my car and they had the nerve to tell me it was ready! I know better with this place, so I open all doors, and the trunk to check and I'm so glad I did. It was disgusting. They are ripping people off, and I have hunch it is mainly females bc they think we don't know any better and just drive off. Not me! So I called a young guy over and showed him and he agreed it was still dirty, so he wiped down where he could and even asked me "Where else?" I showed him a few areas and he cleaned it properly. I had only $6 cash, but I discreetly gave it to him. Why put it in the community tip jar, if the community ain't working? Go here only as a last resort/emergency. Also, do not bother with their highest priced package with the fake, invisible wax job they do. Lol, I have paid for that service and I promise you, there is no difference and there is NO waxing going on! I got home and parked, took out my Awesome spray, paper towels and even hit some areas with Q-tips to get the car properly cleaned. I've been taking my car here for years and it's a pretty good deal. It's a full service car wash which means they have people cleaning your windows and vacuuming your car out. Depending on how much of a wash and/or wax you want the price goes up. They also do detailing. The real key to this place is getting there at the right time. If you pick a sunny Saturday there will be a huge line of cars waiting to get the treatment. If you pick an off day, the middle of the day or get there when they open at 8:00am then you'll be in and out in about 7 minutes or so. Tons of car accessories inside the place, too. read more

Pro: receiving staff are very nice Con: my car is still dirty (and only 6 months old) If you keep your car very clean, this is the car wash for you however if you have a small child or only wash you car every 3-4 weeks, steer clear. For the same price in dc I get my floor mats cleaned, consoles wiped off and an overall thorough job. I didn't make a stink about it because the line was literally going into the street @ 8:15 am. Just left. The lines to get to the actual facility was dumb long. The service was quick maybe a little too quick. There were several spots that were missed. The vacuum job was weak. I can't really tell the difference between the packages. The most expensive package is $32, however, I couldn't see value in getting the higher package. So I have been going to Seabrook Car Wash for as long as I can remember. I moved closer to DC a few years ago, and it's been about a year since I been to this car wash, so I decided to take the 20+ miles drive since they normally did a good job, but I was seriously disappointed this time. I decided to get the special for $30 as I always do. After they finished, I noticed there did not wipe down my wheels or apply armor all to the tires as they always do for the special. When I asked someone about it, he said the special doesn't include that. Of course I thought he was new and just didn't know that he was talking about. Another person comes over and confirmed the special does not include these services, which are pretty basic for a special car wash in my opinion. He said that it would be a $4 up charge...absolutely not!!!! I guess I will be going to VA from now on. read more

The workers at this car wash and the owners are rude. The owner a tall man and the woman at the cashier who work inside are always very rude and racist behaving each time I've come here. Today the tall man intentionally left the door to slam close in our face so he would not have to hold the door for me and my daughter as we were at the door just about to go inside to pay. Every time I come here they do a great job. I am not sure why this place has such bad reviews but if you come off as respectful then you shouldn't have any problems. Let them do their job and don't micromanage and you will be pleased with what they do. I have a brand new car so I am very hesitant to take it just anywhere. TERRIBLE SHODDY WORK!!! Took my white Lacrosse here for a wash (just the outside) and I left with dirt still all over my baby, streaks on my windows, and my sunroof pretty much untouched. I see a lot of bad or questionable reviews but Seabrook is overall pretty good. I mean damn what do you people expect lol. Its a basic car wash, they do a decent job but for a superior job you are either going to have to do it yourself or pay to get your car detailed, which at most places will cost you at least $90+. Now getting your car detailed is going to bring the level of performance you are expecting or at least it should but for a basic car wash like Seabrook you can't possibly expect that. Its under $30 and because of that they do an under $30 job. Seabook is decent, i have the monthly plan and its good enough for me, they do not clean the inside of your car to perfection but they do manage to do a good enough job, it could be better but its worth the money. Remember if yall want your car to be perfect inside and out you are going to have to take it to a detail shop, a place where they will spend about an hour or two dedicated to just making your car look brand new, Seabrook is not that place. read more

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Although I paid for an express wax with an all inclusive wash, with all the bells and whistles ... They still managed to treat me and my car like a step child. When I pointed out the blemishes and missed spots... they were dismissive. When I told them that parts on the car and back seat weren't clean, they directed me to the manager who did nothing. Stay away! I have to agree with the negative reviews 100%. This place is a rip! I received the unlimited wash as a gift and I chose to add another month. They do not clean your car like other car washes I've been to in the area. They do half ass job on everything!! My truck's dash board was still dirty dust still in the gear shift. The inside wipe down was non-existent! Didn't open the tailgate to wipe down the just looked in and kept it moving I asked another worker to get him to complete is job!!! He did he tried it...it's not worth the wait and I will not be continuing the monthly program. Good vacuum and wash but inside they did horrible job with windows and dash I paid $26 for an outside wash. The employees who dry and wipe car down were not being supervised and were either looking for shade or seeing who left a tip so they can do a better job on their car. I would not go back. Also the ground is slippery because of all the wax. A good power wash once a month can fix that. read more

I've been coming here since 1995. I use the $45 a month unlimited "Works" package. Very good service but the equipment is starting to show its age. Under carriage spray seems to work only on occasion. With all the snow and salt on the road this is even more essential than the exterior at times. Otherwise I'd give them 5 stars. read more

Terrible customer service. I use to love everything about this carwash. Until the past couple weeks I've gone to the carwash and they have skipped wiping down the outside of my car. It happened on 3 DIFFERENT occasions. And 3 strikes was enough. The vacuuming is a waste because my car mats look the same when I drive off the lot as it did when I pulled up. I canceled my membership today. The manager is terrible and unprofessional, smoking cigarettes around customers and showing no empathy to put the customer first. The staff is falling off, PERIOD. I will never return to this carwash unless they go under NEW management. I will be returning to Pirates Carwash located up the street. 20 dollars cheaper for unlimited washes and I'd rather vacuum my car myself and actually clean my car. I paid for the fullservice wash which includes interior and exterior cleaning. I went in the hour before closing. I guess they were really tired, because they managed to miss the entire back seat driver's side window which was very cloudy, could hardly see through it, so I pointed it out and asked them to finish the job, they did and I was happy. . . that is until I got home only to find that they also missed the back bumped which had bird poop on it before and after the car wash. I can't believe that they missed such easy and obvious/basic cleaning. I should not have had to point this out to them. I tried to call back and give this business a chance to make it right, but they have a constant busy signal. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! I had reasonable expectations. I didn't expect the perfection of a full detail job nor did I expect the same results as a $10 gas station car wash. I signed up for the most expensive, all inclusive monthly plan and after having gone there several weeks in a row, I can tell you they are consistently poor quality. ALWAYS spots left on the truck, can never tell they've vacuumed, and I've got swirl shaped fine scratches on the black gloss areas of my truck. Also, they make it difficult to cancel once you've signed up for a monthly plan. You have to come in person etc. Another thing, the lines are ridiculously long. Cars start lining up an HOUR before they open. They need more workers and better quality workers that care about their work product. Finally, the Spanish folks that dry your car at the end of the wash tunnel use dirty rags for everything. The car wash near Waugh Chapel is MUCH better. read more

This place is not "touchless". People seek out touchless/brushless car washes because they don't want the brushes swiping the dirt off of their car and scratching the clearcoat. The brushes are definitely there. No thanks. They need to change their sign. read more

They made a mistake, and would not admit. They forgot to hand-dry the car. Then the manager says "Your car was dry when it came out of the wash". No apology, no credit, no extra care in trying to make up for it. Plus there are streaks on the dashboard, and incomplete vacuuming. Car looks worse now! Definitely not worth your $22+. read more

SAVE YOURSELF. You're better off washing your car yourself. Paid for the premium package and got anything but...damaging wash (I'm now going to my dealer to go get the whole car buffed out due to new scuff marks all over the body), half a** vacuum job (didn't touch the trunk, side walls or cubbies) and really poor hand wash attention (bug splats on window shield still remain, wheel rims now just have a cool dirt design, and inside nooks weren't even wiped down).
