My appointment was scheduled for 9am on a Saturday and when I got there I was told they were running behind. I waited nearly an hour before my car was serviced, and that time also included a breakfast break for the shop owner (only person working). The first time I visited last year was mostly fine. After the second time I noticed my dashboard and trunk were not touched. I chalked it up to a simple oversight and I cleaned them myself when I got home. My third visit this weekend was a repeat of the second time, plus I noticed that there was no vacuuming done under or in between the front seats. I found months old popcorn, a partial leaf, and lint on the floor between the driver seat and middle console. Additionally, the next morning I noticed that my driver side wheels still had some black residue, clearly indicating that a subpar cleaning was done. According to the website, everything that was not done was included with the mini detail so I was definitely played. I was also charged $120 for this crappy service, despite the website noting $115. I've frequented this place because they offer shop services (as opposed to just mobile) and the location is convenient; however, after my last visit I will not return. I'm convinced that the owner knows exactly what he's doing - he doesn't want to fully complete the services booked but is happy to take your money. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop but if you do visit, inspect the work prior to making payment. read more

I tried to get in touch with this service to redo a shotty tint job that cost way too much to begin with. When I called them back all of a sudden the tint guy "got hurt" and when I called back almost 2 months later he still out of commission?? And now checking for a 3rd time bc I still need my front windshield redone, I see that these fools are now out of business. Good! Doing us all a favor bc they are terrible. I had a new vehicle I wanted completely detailed (interior and exterior), so I got the ultimate detail package ($265, approx. time 5-6 hours). I dropped off my car right when the shop opened, and gave them a call around 3 PM when I had heard nothing (6 hours with my car). I was told they were backed up and my car would not be ready until closer to 6 PM (9 hours of my car in the shop). Professionally speaking, it would have been appropriate to update me on the status of my car it having been well over the estimated time the detailing should have taken. I called again closer to 6 PM and my car was still not completed, I ended up picking up the car around 6:20. The detailing work itself was fine, I think I speak for anyone who spends $300 on a detail job that you want it to be PHENOMENAL. The car was clean and everything was shiny, however attention to detail (dust and smudges in particular) was lacking. For a $300 detailing job (after fees & such) I would not come back again. read more

I made an appointment the week before and received several text and email reminders. I arrived for my 4:00 appointment at 3:50pm. I had to wait for the owner, Troy to finish up with another customer. He came back close to 4 and asked what I needed. I told him that I had an appointment for the basic wash plus. He took my keys and started working on my car right away. He told me that it would take 45 minutes. I left to do some nearby shopping. I came back at 5 but my car wasn't ready. I sat patiently in their neat waiting area until my car was finished. Troy came back out at 5:22 and drove my car around. I paid $25 and a tip. My car was shining and although it didn't include it in the service, he cleaned my trunk. My wheels were shiny and clean and my car looked like it had wax on it. I was surprised because I didn't think the service included that either. Troy chatted with me for a few before I was on my way. Overall, it was a good experience. He goes above and beyond in his service. I think he needs more help in his shop though. A female receptionist would be a nice touch. Just a thought. read more

I've lived in Upper Marlboro for 3 years and it took a while to find the right place but this is it. I've been going here for about 2 years and tell everyone that will listen about it. I've taken my Infiniti and Lexus here several times and never been disappointed. I'm very particular and these guys never miss the mark. The price for the quality of service is head and shoulders above the rest. If you go, take a good book, it might take a while but you can't rush the type of work they do. read more

The first time I got here, it was okay. This time, the service was incredibly bad. I called the day before to set the stage by asking whether they would accommodate me as the first job because the last time i used their service, my floor was damn and the car took ages to dry since it didn't spend enough time with the windows open and it was COB. I explained that I would love to have my car done early so it could be dried. He agreed. What i have since come to learn is that there is no point expecting customer service when the owner doesn't have the dignity to be honest. I've learned that they will delay the car service based on when you intend to collect the car, and give no weight to your agreement as far as appointment is concerned. I dropped my keys before they opened to ensure I was first. By 4 pm they still weren't done. He claims that it doesn't matter cause I said that I would be back at 6. This makes no sense because the point of an early appointment was for the car to be done early and left sitting regardless of when I come to collect it. In order to justify his tardiness and lack of concern for our agreement by phone, Troy had the gumption to YELL and make a big drama, when an apology and good mannered intentions to forge ahead after recognizing the flaw in his process would have sufficed. It's a shame. I keep trying to support local, black owned businesses and keep coming up incredibly disappointed in their failure to effectively and respectfully communicate and poor execution of service. His response pushed me to anger and I've decided that I simply will never spend my money here. Nor will I let my friends. Went here twice. First time they did a good job. Second time, I pulled up and the young guy washing cars seem to have an attitude and didn't want anymore cars. He was working on one and had one other one. This was at 2pm on a weekday so it's not like they were about to close. Found another car wash. Don't let all the certifications on the wall fool you. This place does horrible work and are extremely unprofessional. I left my New "used" truck with them to get the" Ultimate Detail" package for $295. Estimated hours on the website says 5-6 hours. This includes wash ,wax, engine clean, carpet shampoo, window polishing, leather cleaning and rim/tire conditioner. They had my truck for over 9 HOURS. And went to pick it up after waiting so long, they were still not done and nowhere close. The car was only washed, carpet shampooed, engine cleaned. As I stood there waiting, I noticed that the truck had been washed but was still dirty in areas to the clear eye view. Not "DETAIL" had been taken to clean this truck. As I was waiting, the detailer as he rushed to finish, broke the rear window defrost cable off the window! Now I'm pissed because the truck isn't finished and my window is damaged! Long story short, after going back and forth, the owner only wanted the give me $30 off the price, wanted me to go get the window fixed and bring back the receipt and he would pay for it. I told him I'd pay $195 for the work he did and he would not accept that. I then said I'm taking the car to the dealer to get the repair done and would bring him the bill and he then stopped the detailer and told him to give me my key and to let me go. PLEASE READ DO NOT SKIP!!! This is the First time I ever had my car detailed period. Read great reviews about this place. Heard it was a black owned business so I took the day off and headed there for an interior wash. I also had some paint marks on my car and spoke to Troy about some spot correction for which he charged me an extra 100 for. Okay no problem. Paid the 235. First off. the interior was still wet when I got it back. Spots of paint still on my seat, and stains still in my cup holders. However the main issue was my dashboard. When I dropped my car off it was in perfect condition mechanically. However when I pick it up, all of a sudden my check engline light is on and my CAR WILL NO LONGER ACCELERATE IN DRIVE. Upon asking Troy and his associates what happened, I was met with blank stares as they all, almost unanimously, played dumb. The next minute all including Troy began saying that they did not know what happened to the car. EVEN AFTER ADMITTING THAT IT DROVE FINE AND THERE WAS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON WHEN I DROPPED THE CAR OFF THAT MORNING AT 10:36 AM. Troy's assistant then says that it still works fine in reverse. HUH. first of all, How would you know that without also knowing that my car won't accelerate in drive? Second of all, I cannot get home in reverse. I guess they all thought I was some kid getting his moms car washed and didn't know anything about anything because at one point the SHOPS OWNER verbatim told me that my check engine light was on because my car was low on gas... I was forced to file a claim with the police as well as my insurance and unfortunately will have to take this to court as this shop continues to say that they are not at fault. Please do not risk coming here, I love supporting black buisness but these men are running a con. I have no idea what they did to my car and now I have an unneeded headache because some of some sheisters who have no conscience or capacity to do the right thing. Got a paint correction service done on my black Mustang. Brent the detailer made such a huge difference it is unbelievable. Night and day. Excellent customer service. They could not get any nicer. It was raining as I drove my freshly cleaned car home and would continue to do so for a few days so I was offered a free wash once the rain stopped. Excellent service and will be going back. This was my first time at Touch Up Auto and my experience was excellent!! I was in the Bowie area and decided to get my car washed(which was filthy btw) here based on the reviews I read on Yelp. I came on a Saturday and expected a long wait but was serviced right away. I called ahead to see if they would wash my rubber mats without charge and that was perfectly fine. I was serviced by Troy. The car wash took a little under an hour because it's hand washed. I was prepared and had a book to read. When my car was done Troy took me to my car which shined better than when I first bought it. I didn't get any detailing services but if they did such a good job with the car wash I know their others services gotta be bomb too!! read more

Just to qualify, I've detailed cars before. I know it's a tough job. However, I expected from the reviews to have a great experience. I set up my appointment online after I called into the shop. They suggested I put my appointment in online to confirm. No problem. Appointment was for Friday. I dropped it off Thursday night using the key drop. A bit confusing, but figured it out (again...worked at numerous dealerships, key drop could be better...). I knew it was rather dirty and that they had to buff, shampoo, and do the works, so it would likely be 6-8 hours to do the job. I called Friday morning to confirm they had the car. No problem. I called later in the afternoon on Friday to see how it was going. They said that they were working on it but they were behind and asked if it could stay Saturday if needed. I said sure, but call me Friday around 5 to confirm. No call from them. Saturday morning around 9 AM I called. Car won't be done until 3 PM. Again, I'm still not concerned. Stuff happens. I show up at 3:45. Car still isn't done. Waited until 4:30 at the shop. Finally they come up with the car. They had overspray on one of my rear windows from the product they used and asked if I could bring it back. I tentatively set up an appointment for the following week. Turns out, I fixed it by using a scouring pad and some window cleaner in less than 10 minutes at home. They told me it would take another hour. The windshield was still fogged with trim protectant. So was the instrument cluster. I wiped those down with a microfiber cloth and some window cleaner. My fixes for their incomplete job only took me 20 minutes, but when I pay for the complete job, it would have been nice to have it complete, especially if they had it for an extra day. They were very friendly from start to finish, and 90 percent of the job was great. But that last 10% left me wanting more. Do a better job next time folks. Price was reasonable and I still left a tip. I'll give them another shot, but it better be a good and complete job next time. read more

These guys are amazing, this is a full service paint restoration shop and not just wash and vacuum with great service and great prices. I left my car at an airport garage and had cement leak all over the hood of the car. I tried a clay bar and compound after washing and nothing. Troy and his team had me in and out in under an hour with no trace off any damage let by the cement. read more
