My mother left her windows and sunroof open while she went into the drugstore. While she was in there was a unexpected thunderstorm. There was so much water in her car it literally slosed as you were driving. We were leaving on vacation the next day. They not only took her car that night. They kept it for a week while we were on vacation. It looked like new. There was no smell. There was no damage or mold. This could've been a whole different outcome. So I'm VERY particular about how I keep my car where I have it serviced and cleaned. I really prefer to wash it myself but after seeing their work on Instagram I decided to give them a a try. They seriously are the truth. The shop has a bay area for detailing and then an outdoor platform for normal washes. They have an indoor waiting room with a TV which is nice. A sign says Credit card payments are accepted but you will have a $3 fee on top of your service. However, their card machine was down so I paid cash. I had to go to the atm across the street at the gas station. So I ended up paying a fee from that ATM and my bank which was annoying. I will know for the next time and be prepared. My car was so sparking and clean. I'm sold on using them. It literally looked band new! I have experienced issues before with getting my car washed where they don't completely dry my car and so around the mirrors and trunk there are usually drips and sometimes soap. That was NOT an issue here. They left no part of my car untouched. read more

Professional, responsive and accommodating. The inside of the car looked as if the previous owner was a mechanic and never cleaned the inside of the car....ever! There was grease and grim stains everywhere (door panels, console, cup holder, ceiling fabric, and the dash). I purchased an interior detail, exterior clean and window tinting. Let me just say....Melvin did an amazing job! It looked like a brand new car again and he removed each and every stain. My windows looked amazing as well. The price was fair....actually less than I anticipated paying so I was extremely happy!!! I received excellent customer service, an awesome final product and it was done in a timely manner! I ordered the $110 "Interior" detailing package. I am not unhappy with the quality but beware this business cannot explain the charge they will charge you. I had already put down a $50 deposit. My partner was told we would have to pay for pet hair ($50)--that's $160 total. My partner was charged $155 in addition to the deposit I already provided for a total of $205. When I called to ask why this was charged the business owner said, "My website says 'starting at'". He could not explain what services made that I was charged $45 extra and there was no transparency--I will not go here again and would not recommend this business. read more

I paid $109 for a $220 voucher that included a shampoo, wash and wax for my 2010 Honda Civic. I won't waste your time with a ton of detail, but the work amounted to a $25 car wash. They did wipe down the inside, but not the windows. Not a drop of wax touched my car. We can all tell what a wax shine looks like, and there was no evidence of wax anywhere on my car. I came home and got out my own wax to verify, and a few very obvious spots (dings, etc) came out with just a few seconds of work with the wax. I left a $20 tip, because I rarely do NOT tip, but that added to my mistake that added up to $129 for a car wash and a quick interior wipe down. Wheels were filthy. Windows dirty. Just really disappointed. AND I still need to wax my car. I wouldn't waste your time unless you pay full price and give them a $100 tip upon arrival. You won't get your money's worth. I wanted to believe. I really did. But I should have gone with my instinct when I dropped it off (the place is a mess). read more

Great experience! Purchased a Groupon for auto detail package at Diamond Auto Salon. When I called to make an appointment, the owner was friendly and accommodating. I dropped my car off the night before my appointment and met the owner, he was very friendly and professional, shook my hand, looked over my car and made sure he answered my questions. Came to pick up the next day when my husband got off work, my car is spotless, looks like it did when I purchased it! They got all the sand, dog hair, and general kid-dirt it had accumulated over 2 years. Will definitely treat myself and my car to a detail here regularly! read more

I've never left a review on yelp so it saddens me that I have to break that streak...I cannot believe the way I was spoken to on the phone by "Melvin the owner." All I wanted to do was inquire if I had to make an appointment and he immediately got aggressive. He was rude and made me feel like my money was no good at his business. Just because I bought a Groupon doesn't mean my business isn't as important as someone else's? After all... if you didn't want my business, you wouldn't advertise on Groupon. His words verbatim were "you should refund your Groupon and not come to my business." I was excited based off of all the good reviews to finally build a relationship with a good auto cleaner/detailer but that was just embarrassing and frankly bad business. My suggestion: go there if you have cash and "Melvin" can schedule you for an appointment. Don't book with Groupon either. You'll be treated as a second rate guest. read more

Melvin and his team are simply the best! I was going to be gifting a 2009 Nissan Versa to a family member for Christmas and needed to find a place to have it cleaned. Due to issues with getting the tags in time in order to move the car we were left looking for a carwash or detailing location the night before Christmas Eve. I did not want to gift a dirty car! We called Melvin and he was able to squeeze us in for Christmas Eve morning! Not only was he flexible enough to do a last minute detail but the modest Nissan Versa was given the same amount of TLC as he shows even the nicest vehicles that come through his place. Just look at his before and after pictures! Diamond Auto Salon is THE PLACE to get you car detailed if you want it done right! I won't recommend this shop to anyone, they are not just rude but also incompetent. I took my car to the store for detailing but after 2hrs I had to point the front and back windshield to them which was untouched. The footmats were unwashed, when asked why the owner who by the way is very rude and aggresive said he only vacuums them and not wash. At this point I noticed it was pointless telling this man I didnt get value for my money which I already paid(never make that mistake please) I asked if the rugs which were placed in the trunk could be put back in the car. The owner said he wouldn't do that and that I should get my car off his property. He tried getting into my car to move it but I prevented him, he wasnt backing down from moving my car cos I insisted he does right by me. He then blocked me from leaving with another car. At this point I called the cops, if not for the officers intervention I'm sure things would have turned ugly. It was an horrendous experience I wont wish anyone. I regret ever patronizing this shop as they nothing but incompetent and bunch of thugs! read more

It's really 4 1/2 stars for me. I would definitely use this company again for detailing. My car looks and feels almost brand new. The only thing I can say is that, if they feel that they are going to go over the time frame they agreed to finish, they should contact the customer before the customer returns to pick up their car. Other than that, everyone was professional and friendly. If you're in the glen burnie area, definitely try them out. read more

Wow! I brought my daughter's car in for a wash knowing they wouldn't be able to vacuum all the dog hair out. Boy was I wrong - they went above and beyond. The two guys there were very thorough and didn't seem to mind my 4yo grandson running around while they worked. I wish these guys were in California. read more

Used this business to clean my car. Scheduling was timely. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Mr. Melvin opening my door. Shortly after he immediately dove into a quick assessment of what was needed. He provides transportation for his customers or give them the option to wait in a lobby. He stuck to the timeframe promised and delivered upon his promise to bring my car back to a certain level of cleanliness. I was really proud to see he had a younger male working with him, very witty, articulate and respectful. I would recommend this business to others. Sunday services are also a plus. Absolutely the best hands down Auto Detailing in the DMV. I brought my new car in to be detailed after owning for 3 weeks and after there recommended full detail my car looked like it was never driven before and in better interior condition than the dealer I purchased the car from. The previous owner had a the windows tinted and they weren't in the greatest condition. I even had my windows re-tinted and detailed simultaneously. Just returned from my car being detailed. I couldn't be happier at the results. I was treated with respect and I waited in the lounge while the did their manic. Everything now shines and it started to sprinkle coming home and the water just beaded up. Floor mats spotless and my 2005 car sparkles. It has a nice scent not perfume but clean. Will definitely recommend as well as return to freshen up my car again. If I were going to sell a car I wouldn't hesitate to have these folks detail it and you will be pleasantly surprised. read more
