SUMMARY OF WHAT WB DID TO MY CAR:
1.Wheels nearly came off twice while driving 40-80 MPH
2.Brake caliper bolts left loose -- one bolt completely fell out
3.Downpipes reinstalled due to "manufacturer defect"
4.Multiple leaks, hoses, and tubes improperly installed
5.Transmission overheating due to coolant lines not connected
6.Engine dropped multiple times
7.Tuned the car incorrectly, then blamed tuners
8.Car repeatedly died, overheated, shut off in reverse, and wouldn't start
9.Battery destroyed from sitting outside for months
10.Manifold blowout at 100+ MPH
11.Body kit installed crooked
12.Expensive wrap damaged and denied wrong doing
13. Left the car in the sun for 6-7 months, always returned filthy
Every part WB touched eventually failed -- sometimes more than once.
I PAID WB OVER $60,000 FOR UPGRADES -- THEN SPENT ANOTHER $40,000 FIXING THEIR WORK ELSEWHERE
The original work order included:
1.Exhaust + downpipes - $12,000
2.Turbo upgrade - $10,000
3.Rims + tires - $5,400
4. Body kit installation - $15,000
5.Brake replacements - $5,000
6. ECU + TCU tune - $3,000
7.Calipers painted - $900
8.Smart roof key module - $500
9. Misc parts/plugs/valves - $3,000-$4,000
Almost every single component either failed, leaked, blew, was installed incorrectly, or required complete reinstallation by another shop.
Here is a condensed timeline:
1. First Pickup
WB Owner tries to upsell me $20,000 ceramic brakes because breaks are vibrating. He says thats 100% the issue.. In reality its the old bolts that they reused thats why it was vibrating
Days later: car loses boost at highway speeds WB says "everything is fine."
2. Caliper Failure (Life-Threatening)
Front brake caliper almost detached at 40 MPH.
One bolt missing entirely.
WB admits they reused old bolts.
Charges me again to fix it.
3. Rear Wheel Failure (Life-Threatening Again)
Rear wheel nearly rips off -- bolts stripped.
Their excuse: "new brakes are wider, impossible to notice."
They replace the rim and send me off.
4. Car Loses All Boost Again
WB blames:
tuner
rubber hoses
power
then "old age"
I pay another $1,200.
Boost blows again before I get home.
5. Custom Printed Tubes
They claim OEM hoses can't handle the power.
Print custom "2,000 HP" tubes.
Car is fast for 40 minutes until the manifold explodes on I-95.
Next bill: engine drop and manifold replacement -- $4,800.
6. Transmission Overheating / Car Dies
WB tells me:
"Transmission must warm up for 30 minutes."
Five miles later: "Transmission Overheating" error. Car shuts off.
Battery dies. Car won't start.
WB charges me $1,200 for a fuse.
Dies again before I get home.
7. Independent Mechanic Finds the Real Issue
Lithium battery destroyed from months of sitting in the sun
Coolant lines leaking
6 months of poor storage and neglect
Battery replacement alone: $4,500-$5,000
8. WB Installs Coolant Lines Incorrectly
Transmission overheating returns.
Independent mechanic discovers:
Coolant lines are not even connected to the transmission.
Another $2,000 fix.
9. Exhaust Valve Failure
WB incorrectly installed my $9,000 exhaust.
Valve stuck ECU pulls boost car loses power again.
Faulty plug + more mistakes another $2,800 at another shop.
RED FLAGS:
1.They reused old brake hardware on a 900+ HP tuned car
2.They did multiple engine drops without fixing basic issues.
3.They stored my car outside for months, killing a $3,000+ lithium battery.
4.They installed parts crooked (Brabus kit, downpipes, exhaust).
5.They returned my car filthy every single time.
They charge top-tier prices with bottom-tier workmanship.
This project was supposed to be fun.
Instead, it turned into a $100,000 disaster, months of downtime, dangerous mechanical failures, and a car that STILL isn't working correctly.
