Makes sense. Yes you should have a credit card if you don't want a hold on your debit card. People seem to be nasty to staff because they don't understand the basics of renting a car. I prepaid online to save money, used my loyalty number with Budget and presented my drivers license and credit card. They were out of the class of car I booked, again out of their control, and put me in another car which was an upgrade. Awesome. Once we turned in the car Dave thoughtfully followed up with a quick call to get my email so he could send me a receipt. Great dervice. They also allow you to photograph any damage there may be on the car before you take it out of the parking lot and you can email pics for proof. So much better than going back inside. Really love this convenient location inside Walmart.

I arrived on Monday, August 11, 2025 to pick up my rental at 7:45 a.m., which was 15 minutes after they open to see an employee and three customers waiting outside for the manager to arrive with the keys, as he was running late for work. This completely threw off my work day, as my day starts at 6 am and I left work to pick up the rental with hopes of returning to work within 30 minutes. I knew immediately that wasn't going to happen. If waiting for the late employee wasn't enough, I then had to wait for the young lady to take the subaru to the back for cleaning, as it was just returned. While I was waiting, the gentleman that was running late informed me there was another option so that I wouldn't have to wait any longer. At that point I didn't care that it was a jeep and that it was on empty, as I needed to return to work as soon as possible. I immediately put gas in the empty vehicle, and when I made it to the highway, numerous warning lights came on regarding the ABS features, crash control features were disabled, an image of the vehicle crashing kept appearing on the screen, the tires were low on air and all the fluid levels were low. I had to stop again to put air in the tires and numerous servicing lights kept popping up, but I only needed the rental for a few days so I didn't make a big fuss of these things. When I was informed that I would be in the rental longer than expected, I called to exchange the vehicle and explained all the issues I was having, but the person I spoke with seemed bothered that I was calling and informed me that I couldn't exchange the vehicle unless I could make it to Plano before 5. It was 4:30 and I was coming from Garland so that wasn't going to happen. I asked if I could exchange the vehicle on Saturday, but was informed that they were closed on Saturday, therefore, I stayed in the rental and dealt with the numerous annoying service issues constantly appearing on the screen until I returned the rental on August 22nd. I will NEVER rent from this location again.

The vehicle I rented smelled like an ashtray. Enterprise advices me to bring the vehicle into the nearest location. I verified the same type of vehicle was available for exchange at that location. The employee refused to exchange the vehicle, stating "come back tomorrow and we will see what's available". I verified they had the same vehicle available again. They refused help and walked away into the back of the store. I contacted the original location and they once again verified the exchange. They stated they would reach out to the manager. While waiting I reserved the available vehicle that was requesting to be changed into. I completed the reservation and had my confirmation code. I went back inside and tried to turn in the old ashtray and rent the new vehicle with my reservation confirmation number. The same employee refused to honor my reservation and refused to check in my vehicle. By this time it was nearing closing time. The next morning I drove past in the ashtray the vehicle they refused to exchange or rent to me was still sitting in the parking lot. With all the choices in the car rental space it's easy to find a different vendor with better customer service. This location's customer service is unparalleled in unprofessionalism. All with condescending small.Renting from Enterprise was a mistake. Trusting Enterprise to honor their own policies was a mistake. Trusting Enterprise to resolve the issue was a mistake. I arrived before Thanksgiving and I was in a big Dodge van that I used to move a ton of crap from NY all the way to TX, so Gadi hooked me up by letting me turn in the van for a sedan. It actually worked out since customers were looking for vans during the holiday. After that I needed to renew my rental to a weekly rate, and it ended up being much cheaper! So I renewed a couple more times whilst I sorted my life out and Gadi and Jordan were always available to help either in person or by phone. Anything I needed, they were quick to help! Aside from that, the office is nice and clean and the area itself is nice. If I ever need to rent a vehicle I'll definitely use this location! At the counter they let me know I could only pay with a credit card, debits are not accepted. They pointed me to a location that has a drop box near where I live but when I got there, they would have no rentals returned and ready for 6 hours, we needed to leave before that. They suggested we call this location in Lewisville. I spoke with Raven on the phone who assured me they could take care of us. When we got there we dealt with Anthony who took amazing care of us at the counter, and then were shown our vehicle my Michael who got us on the road quickly and with great courtesy.
