I came here to service my car a few times and peter was always very kind and friendly. I came in for for an oil change today and Peter got my car done in less than 30 minutes. I been here 3 times and always been happy with the service. Be back for my next service. read more

Don't do it. Especially at this location. Bought some tires from them, and they did a courtesy check on my car. They ended up losing 2 bolts on my radiator mount, and broke my air intake hose. I don't understand why they would do a courtesy check, when all i wanted was new tires... read more

I have dealt Wheel Works for years and never had a problem with them. They are fast, polite, good guys all of them. I don't normally give five star reviews, but in about a dozen transactions they haven't done anything that would justify a ding. Good work, guys! GA Spike Jones read more

I had an unfortunate accident where my tire side wall and my wheel had a hole. The guy at the front desk (J Alvarez I believe was his name) went out of his way and got one of his guys to pick up my replacement wheel and tire so that my car got repaired the same day. Awesome customer service on my first visit. read more

I've been going there for years now, and am generally happy with the service they provide. Front desk is always friendly and helpful, and the pricing is straightforward. They always honor their online quotes, and typically it's a piece of cake to get an appointment, even on Sat & Sun. Was just in there today for a flat tire due to road debris. They took a look at the tire and were able to patch it, and got me up and running quickly for no charge. Only issues I've ever had were some alignments on a past car that I had to have redone a few times before it felt OK to me, but even then they happily redid them at no extra charge until I was satisfied. Would definitely recommend them, and will continue to give them my business. read more

Beware of their flat warranty when purchasing tires. They will only fix it once. I bought brand new tires from them and when I had simple flat they fixed it the first time. I had a second flat tire with a simple puncture caused by nail and they refused to repair they insist in replacing it and I need to fork out money for the new tire even though it was only 1 year old. I took it to another shop and they were able to fix the flat on the tire. read more

Visited to get a flat tire replaced. Great service.. I thought it would be a long wait. Technician Marco took great care of me.

Let's Bump up the Stars!!! George was excellent, friendly and made us feel great with his service and great deal on tires, oil and alignment. We even popped in on the mechanics and they were very knowledgeable and courteous also. This was my first time there and not my last. Being open on Sunday saved us big time. read more

After receiving a quote from another service place, I brought my car here to Wheel Works. I met Peter and he was very courteous and forthright with what needs to be done to my car. I ended up saving about $300 with the turn-a-round time to be around 4 hours. Well, they ended up finishing a little over 3 hours and I left very happy. I would recommend his place as the customer service is impeccable. read more

Worse Service EVER ! Went to get a brake job done here which had a lifetime guarantee on the parts and limited warranty on the labor. I was charged an arm and a leg for this brake job, the most i have ever paid for a brake job. Well right after my service there i kept having issues with my brakes. Many, many attempts of me taking it back and telling them there is something wrong with my brakes, they could never ever find the problem. Well today i went to have my oil changed there and once again told them about my issue with the brakes. The outcome and so strange, they finally found the problem and it would cost me $ 249.00 to have it fixed that was for labor because the parts are lifetime guarantee but why is it now that my warranty for labor was just up that they finally found the problem. Coincidence or downright con artist work . The sales rep tried to be my friend when i walked in, he was so full of bull, do not trust these crooks, they will lie, cheat and rob you blind. I will never step foot back into this place nor give them another penny of mine. read more

Came in last minute for an alignment. Chill guys at the front! $90 for an alignment with a yr warranty! Not bad!! Even though they close at 7:30, they still managed to get me in! Sweet! read more

First visited was more than a year ago, a friend of mine told me they have good service, so tried with the alignment and the experience was good. After a year, time to do the alignment again, the same guy used to help me was no longer there. A new guy named Tony was there to help, he was polite and okay. But the alignment was not done right as per my request, to put more negative camber on the front. They just said drive around and bring it back if I didn't like it. Granted, I brought my car back 2 months later, asked them to redo the alignment. Promised two hours wait time, I have no choice since I don't have ride and have to wait there. Two hours passed, asked if my car is done, they told me my car was not even on the rack, just told me to wait until they are done... two more hours passed, car came back and alignment was not adjust as per my request... completely waste my time. Will not do business again with this wheel works. read more

This place deserves NO stars. I cannot believe there are so many scam artist out there. Here is what happened when I tried this place. My brake fluid was low so I was concerned. I first called to see if they would be able to top of my break fluid for me during my lunch hour. The guy said they would have to do a break inspection and that it was free. He said it would take between 30 and 45 minutes. That would work during my lunch hour so I made the appointment. I went in and it took 2 hours for them to do the brake check. I kept asking where my car was becuase I needed to leave to get back to work. Finally the guy comes up and has a list of services that he says I need. Remember, I simply went in to find out about the break fluid. He tells me that my car shakes when he steps on the brakes. LIE. He then tells me that I need new brake pads and the roters need to be turned because they are worn. He also tells me that my battery is dying so he wants to replace the battery. The cost....$766.00! Scammers! I said no thank you to those services and to please give me my car so that I can go back to work. He was insistant that I keep the car there so that he can do all these services. I knew something was fishy becuase my car does not shake when I step on the brakes and it is a farily new car. He finally heard me say NO. I then had to wait another 30 minutes for them to put the tires back on my tire and get it to me. So, I went to two other mechanics to see what they had to say. Both mechanics did a brake inspection and found nothing wrong with my breakpads or roters. The said my pads where fine. They just topped off the break fluid and told me to check it in a week to see if it goes down again. The cost was $25.00. They do not post any prices because they say that they have to inspect before they give a price. They could at least tell you a range so that you have an idea. I think they do that so that they can charge whatever they want and if someone looks like they can be taken advantage of. I think they take advantage of women. read more

A week ago stopped by for a simple TIRE ROTATION, and I was told that if I made an appointment I woudn;t have to leave the car for 6 hours, so I made an appointment for this morning. My appoointment was for 9am, yet I arrived at 8:45am. : 1st surprise: They told me I had that the car would take 2 1/2 to 3 hours for a SIMPLE TIRE ROTATION, so Ok since I was there anyway. But, at 11:55am I ask the attendant about the car, and asked him what was the difference between having an appointment or just showing up, and the response was that was the appointment my car was to be at the "FRONT OF THE LINE" (second surprise). look at the time, more than 3 hours for a simple tire rotation. So imagine if anything else was to be done, how long would it been for me to get my car back. At that time I was told that if I had not have an appointment, I had to pick up my car around 4pm. Finally my car was finish at 12:18pm. The service was extremelly slow for a simple tire rotation, Do the attendants believe that we have never done a tire rotation or taken a car for repair? A SIMPLE TIRE ROTATION taking 3:40 mins. is completelly ridiculous. So, next time a visit is due: patience.... or go somewhere else. read more

tire warranty is the worst. bought a set of tires from wheel works covered for 40k. had an abnormal bubble forming on the inside tire wall with less than 20k of use. service technician told me they do not cover low-profile with stretch set-ups. Showed the manager my receipt and read the warranty coverage on the back, does not state anything about special set-ups that void the warranty. Wheel Works still wants to charge me for a new tire. Whats the warranty for? Better off going to a Moms and pops tire shop. Maybe even walmart. Look somewhere else if you want honest straight-forward non convoluted coverage for tires. read more

I had my car towed to Pro-Star Towing in Milpitas as it overheated. After having Pro-Star Automotive service the vehicle (New Radiator, Two New Hoses, New Battery) the car still overheated and the Manager stated I must have a blow head gasket and wanted $5,000.00 for a used engine. I promptly drove the car to Wheel Works in Milpitas for a second opinion. The Manager, (Peter - Wheel Works), ran a compression check on the engine and the engine/head gasket had no leaks and was just fine. He then informed me, Prostar Automotive installed the WRONG type of radiator, so they (Wheel Works) promptly removed it and replaced it for free. Then Peter (Wheel Works) showed me the hose Prostar Automotive replaced was TOO LONG and rubbing on the alternator belt. The Prostar Mechanic had just zip tied the hoses and shoved them in, hoping nobody would notice. I am very disappointed I had to take my car to another mechanic, just to get it fixed correctly. I complained to the Manager at Prostar Automotive, and he was not interested and declined even a discount (Even though they installed the wrong radiator, hose was too short and rubbing, and diagnosed my vehicle with a blown head gasket (asking for $5,000.00 for an used engine). Prostar never did any check on the engine before starting to replace parts. In the end, I had the water pump replaced as well and the brakes done at Wheel Works. I have nothing but good things to say for WHEEL WORKS - MILPITAS. I am absolutely disappointed in Prostar Automotive. Total crooks. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. If you want more specifics, my email is (christianj.80@gmail.com). My only recourse in this matter is to warn others, to STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. TOTAL CROOKS. read more

Beware of this location. Brought my car in because it was close and the tires needed to be replaced. Before coming I had called and ask for their price and asked if we can still apply the online coupon, they said yes. When I brought the car in however, they said we couldn't use the coupon because their price is already discounted, but I had specifically asked this before. After literally an hour of asking for proof and unwilling to acknowledge their mistake, they finally said they would honor the price. Little did I know after I got home that they had only added the discount on 1 of the 3 tires. Very very shady. Also, double check what they put into your contract, you'll easily find that they add things in there you didn't ask for or don't need(i.e. warranty), and the total cost per tire would easily double the price of the tire you see online. Other places might have slightly higher tire price, but they may include wheel balancing and or realign, something that should be part of the tire change (especially if you change all tires), so look at the total cost of tire replacement before you choose, I had to learn the hard way after coming here and I would have to say the experience was not a pleasant one. read more

I should have read the reviews before going to this place. First off I just want to say that the one star is for the ass. mgr Ryan's IQ of speaking to customers in a decent way. Anyways, if you plan to take your car here, you better be ready to pay if something happens to your car while in their care. We brought in our 2007 Camry there to get a simple oil change and came back with a oil leak. They simply tell my that its due to a "pinhole: size hole in the high pressure hose. Well......I brought the car in with no hole.........so hmmmm...... you guys be the judge. Should I be responsible for that? Remember that this is a car thats only a couple years old. The manager there is very unprofessional and rude by the way and tells us that " things happen". That they didn't do it and they will not pay for it. And wanted to kick us out for being upset about it and raising our voice. UNBELIEVABLE right?!. I really doubt that he could be speaking with a smile if the same thing happened to his car right? I'm actually going to write into the company because i feel that more people should speak out so others do not get treated this way. I personally think that Ryan the ass. mgr should be the manager due to the way he speaks to the customers in situations like this. At least we're able to calm down and not feel duped. Anyways don't take your car there, it may or may not happen to you. But if it does, The jackass mgr Cliff will kick you out if you are upset about it. THATS customer service for you! read more

I was looking for a place that sells some discontiued tires I needed for my Datsun. Wheel Works had them IN STOCK!! Luis helped me out with the quote a day prior to purchasing them. He did not try to sell me on anything and was honest from the get go. The next day (after shopping locallay and online for tires) I decided that wheelworks was the place to get my new tires from. I show up and give them my wheels to have tires put on. They tell me it will take about an hour so I decided to drive around the area. I show up about 40 minutes later to find that my wheels and tires are already mounted and balanced. I was very happy with the speedyness of this place. The tires looked very good on my wheels and they had a slight stretch (I was hoping they would). Im glad Luis recommended those tire to me because I plan on lowering my car and don't want andy fender rubbing on the tires. The ride quality is amazing just like Luis mentioned to me. I will definitely come back here in the future for tires or service on the rest of my vehicles. read more

Good pricing on tires but that is about it. Overpriced on pretty much all other services. Came in to get tires replaced and all seemed well except it took them four hours later than the time frame we initially agreed upon. No sense of urgency, when I asked what is taking so long, they said they have not gotten to it yet but will get to it soon. I am sorry but people have things to do and if I did not have a second car and my friend to give me a ride to the business I would not have been able to get to work on time. They only have one person up front at the desk which is not helpful at all when you have people in line and their phone ringing. They need more employees and need better customer service because it is lousy. The guy up front snickered at me when I did not want an alignment with my new tires. (I know my car needs an alignment I just was not going to pay for one at their price). Go to General Tire, or America's Tire Co. Skip this place even if they give you a better price on tires. read more

Recently went to your location in Santa Clara to change a tire. At the time I could only afford one and the other front tire was in good condition so the manager there recommended that I change one for now and could come back later to do the second. Came to your location in Milpitas. To finally change the second front tire since it has gone out and the employee tells me that we can no longer order the tire that I need. So I ask if he can get a similar tire for me so that I can at least get to work and school as needed. Then the employee tells me that he cannot order anytires that have the same thread. He offered no alternatives to help me with my issue and pretty much said to go elsewhere for my tire needs. The customer service at this location is totally under par and I feel like he didn't even care about helping me. He just wanted to get customers in and out without giving the quality care that should be given to every customer. I am very disappointed with not only this location in particular but also wheel works for not providing other options or alternatives to fix their customers needs! read more
