Great experience with Phil Levine and the crew at Wheel Concepts in Camarillo. Took my 05 Mercedes in for wheel issues. Turns out I had 2 wheels that were in need of repair. I decided to have my wheels powder coated while the wheels were being worked on. The repairs were done and the powder coating looks better than I imagined. They gave me loaner wheels so I was able to drive the vehicle until the completion. They gave me a time frame of 3-4 weeks to complete. They were spot on that also. Outstanding Customer Service. Ordered a set of wheels for my Benz SL500. When they arrived there was a fitment issue with not enough offset on front. All information indicated that the wheels were correct for my model/year but for some reason didn't clear the front shocks. Spoke with Phil Levine at WC and explained the issue. He immediately assessed the problem, determined a 12mm spacer was needed, and provided it at no additional cost. Problem solved and the new shoes look great. read more

I brought my 2013 Corvette in to Wheel Concepts when another wheel shop damaged my wheels. The other wheel shop used sand paper to abrade the surface of the wheel before adhering the new wheel weights while balancing the wheels. Sandpaper is not to be used on a powder coated wheel because all it does is remove the powder coat and permanently scratch the wheel. Enter Wheel Concepts and my contact Phil. They looked at the wheels and quoted me a great price to fix the wheels. Unfortunately this type of damage can't be fixed but instead they had to be recoated. They estimated 5-7 days to have it done and it took all of the 7 days because they had a few problems and didn't want to give me back the car until everything was perfect. Phil kept in touch with me and kept me up to date with the the repairs. The car came back perfect and drives like new. These guys are my new go to wheel/tire place from now on. I was looking for a place to repair my bent aluminum wheel I had on my truck from my last Pismo trip.. I checked around and Wheel Concepts was the only place close to me that was willing to look at it and give me a price. I drove over and they were all very nice. They gave me a price to fix it, after they Removed it from my truck and put it on the balancing machine. Once there I told them to show me some rim options for possible install on my truck. I told them what I was looking for and they showed me their new line of awesome wheels they had. It's their own brand and I couldn't pass up the option to put them on my truck. Their customer service was all I needed to know that they were very honest and gave me the option to do what I wanted. I never felt pressured or pushed to a hard sell. They were willing to fix my bent wheel. I chose to get new rims to get a bit more aggressive stance on my truck. They showed me different sized on my truck and I chose the 29"x 10" Pure Grit rim. I brought in both curb side wheels from my BMW 750li for a cracked inside flange on the rear and strip, polish and clear both wheels. Overall the process went well and the wheels looked great but they had my wheels for 11 days and that seems a bit excessive for what was done. They did offer me temp wheels and tires but couldn't guarantee the diameters would be the same so I didn't want to risk damage to my rear gear. Was referred by United Wheel in the valley and I'm glad I was. Glad to have my car back on the road and will bring it their for tire and wheel work again. read more

I recently purchased a set of chrome Land Rover wheels for my 2011 Range Rover HSE SC. Of course I was actually paying for the chrome plating on a set of wheels Phil had in stock and paid a deposit to insure I would return my wheels after mounting the new ones. I live in Texas so this was all done via internet, phone and emails. I made the credit card transaction on a Monday, wheels were delivered on Thursday. The wheels were well packaged and arrived with no damage. I had them mounted and returned them the following Monday. The entire process went well and Phil issued a refund upon receipt of my "trade-in" wheels. The quality of the chrome plating is excellent and I could't be happier with my new wheels. I recently purchased a Audi A7 from a dealer that was just out of a previous 2 yr lease. Near mint condition but 3 of the 4 stock wheels had minor dings. Since my dealer had offered to spring for the cost of repair, I was referred to wheel repair company. After this vendor reviewed some pictures I sent via email, they said it was not their expertise and referred me to their competitor, Wheel Concepts whom they said should be able to take care of me.. I drove over to Wheel Concepts and showed my wheels to Rick who felt positive they could repair to my expectations. He also gave me a short tour of their shop which was clean and organized. Cut to the chase and not to make this review a novel, for the same cost of repair and getting the wheels to stock condition, I was able to get the repair done AND changed the appearance with machine appearance on the face and semi-gloss black elsewhere. All 4 wheels were to take 3 days but were completed in 4. One note of importance, Rick called me on day 3 and said one of the wheels returned from their painter did not meet their workmanship (a blemish in the overcoat) and they wanted to have that one wheel reworked. That cost me an extra day but I was very pleased they noticed it and did not rely on me complaining. I was happy to wait the extra day to get it done right. The wheels look terrific and I was very pleased with my first time experience with Wheel Concepts. I would recommend them to my friends. read more

Wheel Concepts has a great reputation among fabrication and tire shops alike-- and I see why. It was recommended that I take a (now discontinued) XD Series wheel into Wheel Concepts that had been damaged by a high impact front-end collision. The wheel had a crack, was bent, and sustained a dime-sized gouge on the inner edge. They welded, repaired & balanced the wheel within a week's time and by looking at it you'd never know it was ever damaged... all for less $$ than the price of a new wheel. Americas tire in modesto damaged one of my bmw m5 wheels and could not have the single wheel powdercoat to match the other 3. For some reason they sent them to this place to have them re powdercoat . It was originally a custom color and all 4 rims had to be done to match. It took them a month to do the repair . My wheels were originally a hyper silver color. Now it's some kind of dark silver with gold pearl metallic. The color is not even remotely close and looks terrible and cheap. I would avoid this place. read more
