First bite review: My first bite was all carne asada and let me tell you, this asada would have been amazing in a taco too. It was seasoned so well. We had an hour drive home and it was still hot and fresh when we got home. The guy that took our order was funny and chill. The shrimp was also seasoned so well, when I watched them scoop the meat onto this potato my mouth was watering. The potato is seasoned well, not too salty. If it wasn't potato id eat this every day! The food truck looked clean and they had everything ready in the back to serve! Honestly this place needs more hype, even if that means I gotta wait longer in line! **It was so good I forgot to take a picture of the food.

I was excited to find Cornrageous at the Rancho Cucamonga Farmers Market at Terra Vista Town…read moreCenter. I've tried elote and esquites from a variety of mobile vendors and Cornrageous is one of the better ones. The difference starts with the corn that they use - it's fresh, fire-roasted corn. Fire-roasted corn makes the best elote and esquites because of the extra flavor that roasting imparts. It's hard to find fire-roasted corn from mobile or brick and mortar places that make elote and esquites. Choose a cob ($5) or a bowl of corn, $6. Next, choose the spice combo (e.g., jerk seasoning, lemon pepper, BBQ, curry, etc). The corn comes with butter, mayo, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, and parsley flakes. It's made to order so it's fully customizable. I spotted some crushed Flamin' Hot Cheetos which I didn't see listed on the printed menu. * Bowl of corn, Louisiana City Style ($6): with Cajun seasoning & crushed Flamin' Hot Cheetos: The corn kernels were small, tender, and sweet. I liked how the bowl of corn was dry (some places make esquites too soupy). They didn't add as much butter, mayo, and cheese as other places - but that's probably a good thing and you can always ask for extra anything. The sweetness of the corn combined with the tang of the lemon juice and the hint of spices plus parsley were so good that I wished they had a bigger size. Cornageous is owned by two US veterans. One of the founders' families owned a corn farm in Mexico - hence, the love of corn. You can find Cornrageous at the Victoria Gardens and Terra Vista Farmers Markets in Rancho Cucamonga.

But I especially appreciate a woman who gets up at 3 AM and stands out in the cold at 4 in the morning to sell her wares. That's a level dedication that's hard to match. And when the product that that person offers is delicious tamales and amazing champorado, well baby you're hard to beat. Marie's tamales are nearly perfect. They're delicious, they're not dry, they're not too fatty. They're everything you want in a tamale. My only aggravation is that when I had the chance to buy tamal dulces I missed it. She only makes them on Sundays and on that day I was interested on something savory. So when a day or two later I asked about the sweeter options she told me I'd have to wait. Arggggh. So go. Brighten your day. Improve your mood. Fill your belly and enjoy a delicious tamale or two.

I also picked up the pork bao buns and wow! The bun itself was so fresh and fluffy! I was pleased that the ratio of pork to sauce was balance. Jay was the employee who assisted me with my order. He was really friendly and giving a welcoming vibe. The pricing can seem high, but when you consider the time, quality of ingredients, and the artistry that goes into these buns/ dumplings, i think they are worth it.
