Coming to whattaburger has been an experience... I don't know how i could live without whataburger. Whataburger is my life, my reason to live. Make sure to try their buffalo ranch burger it made me feel euphoric. It fixed all my familys problems. Thank YOU whataburger for being there for me when nobody else was there for me, I love u whataburger, you are my life to me.

Onion rings that looked and tasted like old oil.

I don't know what is happening to this Whataburger, but we eat here all the time. We seem to have issues when we order on the pm shift. Lunch we always have great food. Tonight tho the burgers were great, but why would you serve cold soggy fries and onion rings that looked and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Lucky it was one of our rewards. We have kinda got it down to were we check our orders before driving away because they are always forgetting something. Most of our orders are curbside. Disappointed tonight!

If you're in a hurry and want a quick breakfast and go to the drive thru, don't bother stopping here. Food is good, service is terrible.

Literally the friendliest people work here. Convinced they're previous CFA employees because of how nice they are!

New location to Houston area and friends of mine wanted to try and they researched and told me…read morethere are a lot in Austin. So guess they want to expand to Houston market. Located in a HEB lot off 99 and I feel the HEB helps with traffic flow. Bldg looks nice from outside and inside is new and modern looking but sorta basic nothing fancy about it. Basic front counter and 1 small menu board and 1 small drink station. But in my opinion from a business point of view too many workers. The place was busy but not swamped to have 10+ workers. But drive-thru had many cars so maybe I'm wrong. Greeted as soon as we walked in with a worker saying "welcome in" and we placed our order and asked some questions and the cashier/order taker was friendly and helpful with explaining things to us. Prices are low ($3.50 for single and $8 for a single cheese combo) but the burgers are very small...as a comparison they are the size of a Jr burger. I ordered a single cheese without knowing this and my friends ordered doubles. $30 total. On reciept they break down the order and they number the burgers so you know who gets which burger as I added items to mine. The burger comes with lettuce and 1 tomato slice and special sauce (mayo based) I added onions and pickles but did not add ketchup or mustard as I wanted to try the special sauce and see if any good. Fries are thin and have skin on and were really crunchy, the fries were the best part of my experience, the burger was just OK and too small for adult male. My friends got the doubles and said it equaled a single normal size burger you'd get at other burger places as far as how filling the double was. I would suggest ordering a double if you're an adult who's hungry. They also have banana bread which seems odd for a burger place and really good cookies. We tried the bread and cookie and both were really good and sign states fresh made daily in store. Over all good experience but portion size to small for me to go back as I prefer a good size burger

First time trying Portillo's and wow -- I was impressed. I ordered a Chicago-style hot dog (no…read moreonions, peppers, or pickles), a chili cheese dog, a medium fry, a chocolate cake shake, and a slice of their chocolate cake. The hot dogs had great flavor, and I liked the amount of toppings. The quality was solid, with a nice snap to the bite. The fries were mediocre nothing special But the real stars of the meal were the cake shake and the slice of chocolate cake. The hot dogs would make my rating a 4 but the cake slice + cake shake bumps my review up to a solid 5! I wasn't expecting the shake to be that good -- it was loaded with pieces of cake in every sip. The chocolate cake itself was moist, airy, and rich without being overly sweet. It had the perfect balance between cake and frosting. I'll definitely be back and making this a regular treat.

First heard of Portillo's at the car show at Reliant stadium a few months back as they had a vendor…read morebooth in the arena and they handed out info about the place. Just been so busy but finally got time to go and try. I will say that I wasn't impressed overall. But I also knew I was going for a hotdog and my friends were gonna order a broiled chicken sandwich. First from outside the bldg looks nice and modern and has a diner vibe. Inside looks diner/retro sorta and plenty of seats inside and outside. Overall appearance looks good. Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful with our questions since first time visitors. My main issue is they are pretty much à la carte. But do have a few combos on a center menu bar. but it didn't list all items or show all items available in combo form. I asked cashier if I had to order each item separate and she said yes. So my hotdog was $3.89, reg fries $2.99 and drink $2.49 so a total of $9.37 before taxes and the broiled chicken sandwich $7.19 so a total of $12.67 ea. Total for all 3 was $37.57 The hotdog had no size choices meaning regular or 100% beef frank or larger size. So the hotdog I got was a regular sized hotdog and the bun and toppings were bigger in size and portion then hotdog. The broiled chicken looks like a half of piece of a chicken patty, very small for the price. Way smaller than other fast food places like a chic-fil-a, Whataburger or Popeyes. The fries were actually really good but I wanted onion rings so when I asked the cashier if they were real onions cut up and battered or even pre frozen but real onion rings and not fake onions rings like BK she said no they are not real onion rings so I passed on ordering them. Once we went to the drink station they were out of sweet tea, and didn't have lids to fit the cups they gave us. I got a soda and then when I picked up our food I saw a drink station for drive thru and asked cashier if she could give me a sweet tea and she did but it didn't taste good at all so I decided to drink the root beer I originally poured. Trash bins were full, my table was clean but the seat I had to wipe down crumbs before sitting down. They had a lot of workers behind the counter not sure why there wasn't one or two in dining room cleaning and taking trash out and restocking drink station. Over all the hotdog did taste ok, but as a comparison the Chicago dog I use to get at James Coney Island with the option to upgrade to a beef frank is way better overall. They really should add an option to upgrade to a bigger dog. The chicken sandwich overall tasted good but very small and over priced. Due to portion size and higher prices compared to what you can get at other fast food places with larger portions I probably won't return.

I totally get the hype about this place! If I lived nearby, you can bet I'd work my way through…read moretheir whole menu. There's just something different about this style of sandwich. I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

Many visits later it pains me to remove a star FOR BEVERAGE ISSUES ONLY (the food is still…read morefantastic). They are a pepsi place (booooooo!), and there's no diet pepsi (pepsi zero is their only zero calorie soda option). If you drink Diet Coke (most popular diet drink in USA), then you don't want diet pepsi, but you'll probably drink it if you have to; however, you're very likely to hate pepsi zero (and Coke Zero, too), so no soda for you here anymore! A full Coke setup that also includes Dr Pepper AND Diet Dr Pepper is ideal. I realize a pepsi fountain is more profitable because of distributor incentives, but pepsi is favored by almost nobody and hated by many...so is it really worth it? Tony's is so great that pepsi just does not fit in. Hopefully they don't deteriorate further and change to Wonderbread for all of their sandwiches. Bottom line: at the very least, please add diet pepsi to your soda machine if that brand remains in place.

This right here is the most authentic and delicious Korean bites you can get in the Magnolia area!!…read moreWe ordered half Yangyeom(gochujang based sweet and spicy sauce) and Pringle(Korean cheese dry rub seasoning) chicken. The Pringle flavor is not overly sweet and has a balanced cheese flavor which is very addicting!! The Yangyeom flavor was the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and had a nice garlic kick to it. I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side if you're taking it home!! I still enjoyed the wings 100%, but they were a bit soggy. That is 100% on us as we didn't account for the extended period of time to get home due to traffic. Every piece of chicken was super juicy and cooked thoroughly!!! Now the heavy hitter on the menu was the bulgogi fries. The fries were super crispy despite being smothered in bulgogi, kimchi, and sauces. These are possibly the BEST loaded fries I've ever had. The kimchi on these fries was one of the best I've had. It wasn't overly salted, had a perfect crunch, and had a nice spicy kick to it. Overall the bulgogi, kimchi, crispy fries, and the sauces are the perfect combination for that Korean American fusion dish!!! The restaurant itself is pretty small, but they do have a seating area!! When we ordered it was only Mr. Park in the kitchen so please be mindful of that. You'll have to wait a few minutes as each order is made fresh to order and it takes time to cook these items. If you don't want to wait I recommend calling ahead and ordering so that the food will be ready when you arrive. The parking area is also a bit limited so be mindful of that as well!!! Overall I'm so happy there is a great Korean fried chicken spot here in magnolia and I don't have to drive out to Houston or Katy!!!!

I'd rate the food a 7/10. Everything was cooked well, though the sauce wasn't quite to my taste…read more The menu is on the smaller side, but the prices are reasonable -- roughly $10-15 per person. The service and ambiance were enjoyable, making it a good choice for a quick, casual meal.
