Service is sloppy. They left out an entire meal on my to go order, and there were only three meals in the entire order. And the restaurant wasn't even that busy. I usually eat here frequently and it's 75% if not regretting wasting my money. For the most part the food is good. Buns toasted on both sides is the key they sometimes miss that and forget my cheese but I'm not going to slander them about missing cheese lol. The service is really good the workers are polite and they are professional. The environment is alright sometimes a herd of football players come in and eat and it gets overwhelming lol. So I was in Texas for one day. Drove from Midland to San Angelo and decided that I needed to try Whataburger as I'd heard so much about it. I'd heard it was the Texas version of In and Out Burger. Went inside and it was clear the staff were taking precautions due to COVID19. They were friendly and courteous. Got my food, burger and fries and just wasn't that impressed. Fries weren't great and the burger was a step above Burger King or McDonalds. I was truly disappointed. I was really hoping it was going to be better than what it was. Oh well, at least I tried it. We waited in line at the drive thru for 45 minutes, just to get cold food, and our order was wrong (but we kept it anyway because we were tired of waiting). Hasn't the management here ever gone through the drive-thru at Chick-Fil-A? I mean the CFA employees can get a line that's just as long cleared out in 5-10 minutes tops. Whataburger mgmt needs to look at how they're doing it and make changes to their operation to get people through the line. read more

Forget about ordering food online and getting it in 5-7 min. Try 30-60 min. I ordered breakfast last Sunday (7/12) and waited over 30 min for my order. I watched about 8-10 cars go through the drive through during that 30 min. Tonight we ordered again online to redeem a special offer. My husband waited 30 min and when he checked the order it was wrong and the staff member tried to tell him it was my order. That was after he'd already been out with the receipt to confirm our order. My husband had to show him the receipt that the young man confirmed our order with to prove to him it was the wrong order. Then the young man tells my husband they need to remake our order because they gave our order to someone else and it would be another 20 min. They may want to follow Chick-fil-a's model because these wait times are ridiculous and especially when it was an online order promising to have it ready ASAP (5-7 min). Hubby went to talk to the manager so we will see how that goes. They told husband he couldn't talk to the manager and when he finally got our order he drove off. When he reached in the bag for a fry the fries weren't in the bag. I made a call to the store and spoke to the manager who was sympathetic and offered us 2 free meals. read more

This location (Knickerbocker) is the best in San Angelo. Last time I was there I had a very friendly conversation with the young lady taking my order. Other workers there were also very friendly and the food was perfect and delivered in a timely manner. I've been practicing Keto for awhile and they were great at accommodating my dietary needs. Food was fresh and hot and done exactly how I ordered it. I can also remember a prior visit when the manager took my order and she was also very friendly and attentive. Just had my wife pick up a mushroom Swiss burger while I'm at work, after the cashier took our card and swiped it she then said "sorry we are out of gravy for the chicken strips. Did you want another sauce?" 1. If you did not have the gravy you should have asked before we paid. 2. My mushroom Swiss burger was cold, and entirely covered in a liquid sauce that covered both buns and made the entire burger look like a slop. Absolutely horrible service. I went to this location at 0533 in the morning to time and made a simple order. At first I was told I would have to wait ten minutes for my order which was long but I compromised and waited. Even though I was the only customer in line, the order ended up taking 25 minutes which is ridiculous especially if all I ordered was a honey biscuit meal. You have to set aside a good half hour to order and get your food. They seem to take longer and longer each time I visit, don't even try the drive through if you're in a hurry.
